1 A nd having risen, the whole multitude of them did lead him to Pilate,

2 a nd began to accuse him, saying, `This one we found perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be Christ a king.'

И започнаха да Го обвиняват със следните думи: Установихме, че Този развращава народа ни, забранява да се дава данък на Цезаря и казва за Себе Си, че е Христос, Цар.

3 A nd Pilate questioned him, saying, `Thou art the king of the Jews?' and he answering him, said, `Thou dost say.'

А Пилат Го попита: Ти ли си Юдейският Цар? А Той му отговори: Ти право казваш.

4 A nd Pilate said unto the chief priests, and the multitude, `I find no fault in this man;'

И Пилат каза на главните свещеници и на народа: Аз не намирам никаква вина у Този човек.

5 a nd they were the more urgent, saying -- `He doth stir up the people, teaching throughout the whole of Judea -- having begun from Galilee -- unto this place.'

А те по-настойчиво казваха: Той вълнува народа, понеже поучава по цяла Юдея, като е почнал от Галилея и е стигнал дотук. Изпращането на Исус Христос при Ирод

6 A nd Pilate having heard of Galilee, questioned if the man is a Galilean,

А Пилат, като чу това, попита дали човекът е галилеянин.

7 a nd having known that he is from the jurisdiction of Herod, he sent him back unto Herod, he being also in Jerusalem in those days.

И като узна, че е от областта на Ирод, изпрати Го до Ирод, който през тези дни беше в Йерусалим.

8 A nd Herod having seen Jesus did rejoice exceedingly, for he was wishing for a long to see him, because of hearing many things about him, and he was hoping some sign to see done by him,

А Ирод, като видя Исус, много се зарадва, защото отдавна желаеше да Го види, понеже беше слушал за Него; и се надяваше да види някое знамение от Него.

9 a nd was questioning him in many words, and he answered him nothing.

И Му задаваше много въпроси; но Той не му отговори нищо.

10 A nd the chief priests and the scribes stood vehemently accusing him,

А главните свещеници и книжниците стояха и яростно Го обвиняваха.

11 a nd Herod with his soldiers having set him at nought, and having mocked, having put around him gorgeous apparel, did send him back to Pilate,

Но Ирод с войниците си, като се отнесе към Него с презрение и Го подигра, облече Го във великолепна дреха и Го изпрати обратно при Пилат.

12 a nd both Pilate and Herod became friends on that day with one another, for they were before at enmity between themselves.

В същия ден Ирод и Пилат се сприятелиха помежду си; защото преди това враждуваха един против друг. Осъждането на Исус Христос на смърт

13 A nd Pilate having called together the chief priests, and the rulers, and the people,

Тогава Пилат свика главните свещеници, началниците и народа и им каза:

14 s aid unto them, `Ye brought to me this man as perverting the people, and lo, I before you having examined, found in this man no fault in those things ye bring forward against him;

Доведохте ми Този като човек, който развращава народа; но, ето, аз Го разпитах пред вас и не намерих в Него никаква вина относно това, за което Го обвинявате.

15 n o, nor yet Herod, for I sent you back unto him, and lo, nothing worthy of death is having been done by him;

Нито пък Ирод е намерил, защото Го е изпратил обратно до нас; така че Той не е направил нищо, което заслужава смъртно наказание.

16 h aving chastised, therefore, I will release him,'

Затова, като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

17 f or it was necessary for him to release to them one at every feast,

А той се задължаваше да им пуска на всеки празник по един затворник.

18 a nd they cried out -- the whole multitude -- saying, `Away with this one, and release to us Barabbas,'

Но те всички изкрещяха в един глас: Премахни Този и ни пусни Варава.

19 w ho had been, because of a certain sedition made in the city, and murder, cast into prison.

Който за някаква размирица, станала в града, и за убийство бе хвърлен в тъмница.

20 P ilate again then -- wishing to release Jesus -- called to them,

И Пилат отново им говори с висок глас, защото желаеше да пусне Исус.

21 b ut they were calling out, saying, `Crucify, crucify him.'

А те крещяха: Разпъни Го! Разпъни Го!

22 A nd he a third time said unto them, `Why, what evil did he? no cause of death did I find in him; having chastised him, then, I will release.'

А той трети път им каза: Че какво зло е сторил Той? Аз не намирам в Него нищо, за което да заслужава смърт; затова, като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

23 A nd they were pressing with loud voices asking him to be crucified, and their voices, and those of the chief priests, were prevailing,

Но те настояваха със силни гласове да бъде разпънат; и техните гласове надделяха.

24 a nd Pilate gave judgment for their request being done,

И Пилат реши да изпълни искането им:

25 a nd he released him who because of sedition and murder hath been cast into the prison, whom they were asking, and Jesus he gave up to their will.

пусна онзи, когото искаха, който беше хвърлен в тъмница за размирица и убийство; а Исус предаде на смърт според волята им. Разпъването на Исус Христос

26 A nd as they led him away, having taken hold on Simon, a certain Cyrenian, coming from the field, they put on him the cross, to bear behind Jesus.

И когато Го поведоха, хванаха някого си Симон, киринеец, който се връщаше от нива, и сложиха на него кръста, за да го носи след Исус.

27 A nd there was following him a great multitude of the people, and of women, who also were beating themselves and lamenting him,

И след Него вървеше голямо множество народ и жени, които плачеха за Него.

28 a nd Jesus having turned unto them, said, `Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but for yourselves weep ye, and for your children;

А Исус се обърна към тях и каза: Дъщери йерусалимски, недейте плака за Мене, но плачете за себе си и за децата си;

29 f or, lo, days do come, in which they shall say, Happy the barren, and wombs that did not bare, and paps that did not give suck;

защото, ето, идат дни, когато ще кажат: Блажени безплодните и утробите, които не са раждали, и гърдите, които не са кърмили.

30 t hen they shall begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us, and to the hills, Cover us; --

Тогава ще започнат да казват на планините: Паднете върху нас!, и на хълмовете: Покрийте ни!

31 f or, if in the green tree they do these things -- in the dry what may happen?'

Защото ако правят това със суровото дърво, какво ще правят със сухото?

32 A nd there were also others -- two evil-doers -- with him, to be put to death;

И с Него караха и други двама, които бяха злодеи, за да ги убият.

33 a nd when they came to the place that is called Skull, there they crucified him and the evil-doers, one on the right hand and one on the left.

И когато стигнаха на мястото, наречено Лобно, там разпънаха Него и злодеите - единия отдясно, а другия - отляво на Него.

34 A nd Jesus said, `Father, forgive them, for they have not known what they do;' and parting his garments they cast a lot.

А Исус каза: Отче, прости им, защото не знаят какво правят. И като разделиха дрехите Му, хвърлиха жребий за тях.

35 A nd the people were standing, looking on, and the rulers also were sneering with them, saying, `Others he saved, let him save himself, if this be the Christ, the choice one of God.'

И хората стояха и гледаха. Още и началниците Го ругаеха, като казваха: Други е избавил; нека избави Себе Си, ако Той е Христос, Божият Избраник.

36 A nd mocking him also were the soldiers, coming near and offering vinegar to him,

Също и войниците Му се подиграваха, като се приближаваха и Му поднасяха оцет, и казваха:

37 a nd saying, `If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.'

Ако си Юдейският Цар, избави Себе Си.

38 A nd there was also a superscription written over him, in letters of Greek, and Roman, and Hebrew, `This is the King of the Jews.'

А над Него имаше и надпис: Този е Юдейският Цар.

39 A nd one of the evil-doers who were hanged, was speaking evil of him, saying, `If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us.'

И един от увисналите злодеи Го хулеше, като казваше: Нали Ти си Христос? Избави Себе Си и нас!

40 A nd the other answering, was rebuking him, saying, `Dost thou not even fear God, that thou art in the same judgment?

А другият в отговор го смъмра: Дори от Бога ли не се боиш, ти, който си със същата присъда?

41 a nd we indeed righteously, for things worthy of what we did we receive back, but this one did nothing out of place;'

А ние справедливо сме осъдени, защото получаваме заслуженото за това, което сме сторили; а Този не е сторил нищо лошо.

42 a nd he said to Jesus, `Remember me, lord, when thou mayest come in thy reign;'

И каза: Господи Исусе, спомни си за мене, когато дойдеш в Царството Си.

43 a nd Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, To-day with me thou shalt be in the paradise.'

А Исус му отговори: Истина ти казвам днес ще бъдеш с Мене в рая. Кръстната смърт на Исус Христос

44 A nd it was, as it were, the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land till the ninth hour,

А беше вече около шестия час и тъмнина покриваше цялата земя до деветия час,

45 a nd the sun was darkened, and the vail of the sanctuary was rent in the midst,

като слънцето потъмня; и завесата на храма се раздра през средата.

46 a nd having cried with a loud voice, Jesus said, `Father, to Thy hands I commit my spirit;' and these things having said, he breathed forth the spirit.

И Исус извика със силен глас и каза: Отче, в Твоите ръце предавам духа Си. И като каза това, издъхна.

47 A nd the centurion having seen what was done, did glorify God, saying, `Really this man was righteous;'

И стотникът, като видя станалото, прослави Бога, като каза: Наистина, този Човек беше праведен.

48 a nd all the multitudes who were come together to this sight, beholding the things that came to pass, smiting their breasts did turn back;

А всички множества, които бяха дошли на това зрелище, като виждаха какво стана, се връщаха, като се удряха в гърди.

49 a nd all his acquaintances stood afar off, and women who did follow him from Galilee, beholding these things.

А всички Негови познати и жените, които Го следваха от Галилея, стояха надалеч и гледаха това. Снемането на Исус Христос от кръста и погребението му

50 A nd lo, a man, by name Joseph, being a counsellor, a man good and righteous,

Имаше един човек на име Йосиф, който беше съветник, човек добър и праведен,

51 - - he was not consenting to their counsel and deed -- from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who also himself was expecting the reign of God,

който не се беше съгласил с намерението и делото им. Той беше от юдейския град Ариматея, човек, който очакваше Божието царство.

52 h e, having gone near to Pilate, asked the body of Jesus,

Той отиде при Пилат и поиска тялото на Исус.

53 a nd having taken it down, he wrapped it in fine linen, and placed it in a tomb hewn out, where no one was yet laid.

И като го свали, обви го с плащеница и го положи в гроб, изсечен в скала, където никой не беше още полаган.

54 A nd the day was a preparation, and sabbath was approaching,

И това беше денят на Приготовлението и съботата настъпваше.

55 a nd the women also who have come with him out of Galilee having followed after, beheld the tomb, and how his body was placed,

А жените, които бяха дошли с Него от Галилея, вървяха отзад и видяха гроба и как беше положено тялото Му.

56 a nd having turned back, they made ready spices and ointments, and on the sabbath, indeed, they rested, according to the command.

И като се върнаха, приготвиха аромати и миро; и в съботата си почиваха според заповедта в Моисеевия закон.
