1 A nd unto Moses He said, `Come up unto Jehovah, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and ye have bowed yourselves afar off;'

Бог каза още на Моисей: Изкачете се на планината на Господа, ти и Аарон, Надав и Авиуд, и седемдесет от Израелевите старейшини, и се поклонете отдалеч;

2 a nd Moses hath drawn nigh by himself unto Jehovah; and they draw not nigh, and the people go not up with him.

само Моисей ще се приближи до Господа, а те няма да се приближат, нито народът ще се изкачи с него.

3 A nd Moses cometh in, and recounteth to the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the judgments, and all the people answer -- one voice, and say, `All the words which Jehovah hath spoken we do.'

Тогава Моисей дойде и каза на народа всички слова и закони на Господа; и целият народ едногласно отговори: Всичко, което е казал Господ, ще вършим.

4 A nd Moses writeth all the words of Jehovah, and riseth early in the morning, and buildeth an altar under the hill, and twelve standing pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel;

И Моисей написа всички Господни слова; а на сутринта, като стана рано, издигна жертвеник под планината, където изправи и дванадесет стълба според дванадесетте Израелеви племена.

5 a nd he sendeth the youths of the sons of Israel, and they cause burnt-offerings to ascend, and sacrifice sacrifices of peace-offerings to Jehovah -- calves.

После изпрати момци от Израелевите синове и те принесоха всеизгаряния, и пожертваха на Господа телета за мирни жертви.

6 A nd Moses taketh half of the blood, and putteth in basins, and half of the blood hath he sprinkled on the altar;

А Моисей взе половината от кръвта и я изля в паници, а с другата половина от кръвта поръси върху жертвеника.

7 a nd he taketh the Book of the Covenant, and proclaimeth in the ears of the people, and they say, `All that which Jehovah hath spoken we do, and obey.'

После взе книгата на завета и я прочете. След като чу това, народът отвърна: Всичко, каквото е казал Господ, ще вършим и ще бъдем послушни.

8 A nd Moses taketh the blood, and sprinkleth on the people, and saith, `Lo, the blood of the covenant which Jehovah hath made with you, concerning all these things.'

Тогава Моисей взе кръвта, поръси с нея народа и каза: Ето кръвта на завета, който Господ сключи с вас според всички тези условия.

9 A nd Moses goeth up, Aaron also, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

И така, Моисей и Аарон, Надав и Авиуд, и седемдесет от Израелевите старейшини се изкачиха горе.

10 a nd they see the God of Israel, and under His feet as the white work of the sapphire, and as the substance of the heavens for purity;

Там видяха Израелевия Бог: под краката Му имаше нещо като настилка от сапфир, чиято бистрота беше също като небе.

11 a nd unto those of the sons of Israel who are near He hath not put forth His hand, and they see God, and eat and drink.

Но Бог не порази Израелевите водачи. И те видяха Бога и там ядоха и пиха.

12 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Come up unto Me to the mount, and be there, and I give to thee the tables of stone, and the law, and the command, which I have written to direct them.'

Тогава Господ каза на Моисей: Ела горе при Мене на планината и стой там; и ще ти дам каменните плочи, закона и заповедите, които съм написал, за да ги поучаваш.

13 A nd Moses riseth -- Joshua his minister also -- and Moses goeth up unto the mount of God;

И така, Моисей стана със служителя си Исус и Моисей се изкачи на Божията планина.

14 a nd unto the elders he hath said, `Abide ye for us in this, until that we turn back unto you, and lo, Aaron and Hur with you -- he who hath matters doth come nigh unto them.'

А каза на старейшините: Чакайте ни тук, докато се завърнем при вас; и, ето, Аарон и Ор са при вас; който има жалба, нека отиде при тях.

15 A nd Moses goeth up unto the mount, and the cloud covereth the mount;

Тогава Моисей се изкачи на планината; и облакът покриваше планината.

16 a nd the honour of Jehovah doth tabernacle on mount Sinai, and the cloud covereth it six days, and He calleth unto Moses on the seventh day from the midst of the cloud.

Господнята слава застана на Синайската планина и облакът я покриваше шест дни, а на седмия ден Господ извика към Моисей всред облака.

17 A nd the appearance of the honour of Jehovah as a consuming fire on the top of the mount, before the eyes of the sons of Israel;

И видът на Господнята слава по върха на планината изглеждаше на израелтяните като поглъщащ огън.

18 a nd Moses goeth into the midst of the cloud, and goeth up unto the mount, and Moses is on the mount forty days and forty nights.

И така, Моисей влезе сред облака и се изкачи на планината. И Моисей стоя на планината четиридесет дни и четиридесет нощи.
