1 A nd they came to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gadarenes,

И така минаха отвъд езерото в Гадаринската страна.

2 a nd he having come forth out of the boat, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

И като слезе от ладията, в същия миг от гробищата излезе насреща Му един човек с нечист дух.

3 w ho had his dwelling in the tombs, and not even with chains was any one able to bind him,

Той живееше в гробищата и никой вече не можеше да го върже дори с верига;

4 b ecause that he many times with fetters and chains had been bound, and pulled in pieces by him had been the chains, and the fetters broken in pieces, and none was able to tame him,

защото много пъти го бяха вързвали в окови и с вериги, но той беше разкъсвал веригите и счупвал оковите; и никой нямаше сила да го укроти.

5 a nd always, night and day, in the mountains, and in the tombs he was, crying and cutting himself with stones.

И всякога, нощем и денем, в гробищата и по хълмовете той викаше и се изпонарязваше с камъни.

6 A nd, having seen Jesus from afar, he ran and bowed before him,

А като видя Исус отдалеч, завтече се и Му се поклони;

7 a nd having called with a loud voice, he said, `What -- to me and to thee, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I adjure thee by God, mayest thou not afflict me!'

и изкрещя със силен глас: Какво общо имаш Ти с мен, Исусе, Сине на Всевишния Бог? Заклевам Те в Бога, недей ме мъчи.

8 ( for he said to him, `Come forth, spirit unclean, out of the man,')

(Защото Исус му казваше: Излез от човека, душе нечисти! )

9 a nd he was questioning him, `What thy name?' and he answered, saying, `Legion my name, because we are many;'

А Исус го попита: Как ти е името? А той Му каза: Легион ми е името; защото сме мнозина.

10 a nd he was calling on him much, that he may not send them out of the region.

И много Му се молеше да не ги изпраща вън от страната.

11 A nd there was there, near the mountains, a great herd of swine feeding,

А там, на хълма, пасеше голямо стадо свине.

12 a nd all the demons did call upon him, saying, `Send us to the swine, that into them we may enter;'

И бесовете Му се молиха: Прати ни в свинете, за да влезем в тях.

13 a nd immediately Jesus gave them leave, and having come forth, the unclean spirits did enter into the swine, and the herd did rush down the steep place to the sea -- and they were about two thousand -- and they were choked in the sea.

Исус им позволи. И нечистите духове излязоха и влязоха в свинете; и стадото, на брой около две хиляди, се спусна по стръмнината в езерото и се издавиха в езерото.

14 A nd those feeding the swine did flee, and told in the city, and in the fields, and they came forth to see what it is that hath been done;

А онези, които ги пасяха, побегнаха и известиха това в града и по селата. И жителите дойдоха да видят какво е станало.

15 a nd they come unto Jesus, and see the demoniac, sitting, and clothed, and right-minded -- him having had the legion -- and they were afraid;

И като дойдоха при Исус, видяха онзи, който преди беше обладан от бесове, в когото беше легионът, да седи облечен и с ума си; и се изпълниха със страх.

16 a nd those having seen, declared to them how it had come to pass to the demoniac, and about the swine;

А онези, които бяха видели, им разказваха за станалото с обладания от бесовете и за свинете.

17 a nd they began to call upon him to go away from their borders.

И те започнаха да Му се молят да си отиде от техните предели.

18 A nd he having gone into the boat, the demoniac was calling on him that he may be with him,

И когато влизаше в ладията, този, който преди беше обладан от бесове, Му се молеше да бъде заедно с Него.

19 a nd Jesus did not suffer him, but saith to him, `Go away to thy house, unto thine own, and tell them how great things the Lord did to thee, and dealt kindly with thee;

Той обаче не му позволи, а му каза: Иди си у дома при своите и им кажи какво е направил Господ за теб и как се смили над теб.

20 a nd he went away, and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how great things Jesus did to him, and all were wondering.

И човекът тръгна и започна да разгласява в Десетоградие какви неща направи с него Исус; и всички се чудеха. Излекуването на жената с кръвотечение и възкресяването на дъщерята на Яир

21 A nd Jesus having passed over in the boat again to the other side, there was gathered a great multitude to him, and he was near the sea,

Когато Исус пак премина с ладията на отсрещната страна, при Него се събра голямо множество; и Той беше край езерото.

22 a nd lo, there doth come one of the chiefs of the synagogue, by name Jairus, and having seen him, he doth fall at his feet,

И дойде един от началниците на синагогата, на име Яир, и като Го видя, падна пред нозете Му

23 a nd he was calling upon him much, saying -- `My little daughter is at the last extremity -- that having come, thou mayest lay on her hands, so that she may be saved, and she shall live;'

и много Му се молеше, като казваше: Малката ми дъщеря е на умиране; моля Ти се да дойдеш и да положиш ръце на нея, за да оздравее и да живее.

24 a nd he went away with him. And there was following him a great multitude, and they were thronging him,

И Той отиде с него; и едно голямо множество вървеше след Него и хората Го притискаха.

25 a nd a certain woman, having an issue of blood twelve years,

И една жена, която беше имала кръвотечение дванадесет години

26 a nd many things having suffered under many physicians, and having spent all that she had, and having profited nothing, but rather having come to the worse,

и беше страдала много от мнозина лекари, и беше похарчила за лечение целия си имот, без да види някаква полза, а, напротив, беше ѝ станало по-зле,

27 h aving heard about Jesus, having come in the multitude behind, she touched his garment,

като чу отзивите за Исус, промъкна се сред навалицата отзад и се допря до дрехата Му.

28 f or she said -- `If even his garments I may touch, I shall be saved;'

Защото си казваше: Ако само се допра до дрехата Му, ще оздравея.

29 a nd immediately was the fountain of her blood dried up, and she knew in the body that she hath been healed of the plague.

И веднага кръвотечението ѝ престана и тя усети в тялото си, че се изцели от болестта.

30 A nd immediately Jesus having known in himself that out of him power had gone forth, having turned about in the multitude, said, `Who did touch my garments?'

И веднага Исус, като усети в Себе Си, че от Него излезе сила, обърна се към множеството и попита: Кой се допря до дрехите Ми?

31 a nd his disciples said to him, `Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and thou sayest, `Who did touch me!'

Учениците Му отговориха: Ти виждаш, че народът Те притиска, а казваш: Кой се допря до Мене?

32 A nd he was looking round to see her who did this,

Но Той се оглеждаше, за да види тази, която беше направила това.

33 a nd the woman, having been afraid, and trembling, knowing what was done on her, came, and fell down before him, and told him all the truth,

А жената, уплашена и разтреперана, като знаеше станалото с нея, дойде и падна пред Него и Му каза цялата истина.

34 a nd he said to her, `Daughter, thy faith hath saved thee; go away in peace, and be whole from thy plague.'

А Той ѝ каза: Дъще, твоята вяра те изцели; иди си с мир и бъди здрава от болестта си.

35 A s he is yet speaking, there come from the chief of the synagogue's, saying -- `Thy daughter did die, why still dost thou harass the Teacher?'

Докато Той още говореше, дойдоха от къщата на началника на синагогата и казаха: Дъщеря ти умря; защо още затрудняваш Учителя?

36 A nd Jesus immediately, having heard the word that is spoken, saith to the chief of the synagogue, `Be not afraid, only believe.'

А Исус, като дочу това, което си говореха, каза на началника на синагогата: Не бой се, само вярвай.

37 A nd he did not suffer any one to follow with him, except Peter, and James, and John the brother of James;

И не позволи на никого да Го придружи освен на Петър, Яков и Якововия брат Йоан.

38 a nd he cometh to the house of the chief of the synagogue, and seeth a tumult, much weeping and wailing;

И като дойдоха до къщата на началника на синагогата, Той видя вълнение и мнозина, които плачеха и нареждаха на висок глас.

39 a nd having gone in he saith to them, `Why do ye make a tumult, and weep? the child did not die, but doth sleep;

След като Исус влезе, им каза: Защо така се вълнувате и плачете? Детето не е умряло, а спи.

40 a nd they were laughing at him. And he, having put all forth, doth take the father of the child, and the mother, and those with him, and goeth in where the child is lying,

А те Му се присмиваха. Но Той, като изкара навън всички, взе бащата и майката на детето и онези, които бяха с Него, и влезе там, където беше детето.

41 a nd, having taken the hand of the child, he saith to her, `Talitha cumi;' which is, being interpreted, `Damsel (I say to thee), arise.'

И като хвана детето за ръка, му каза: Талита куми; което значи: Момиче, на тебе казвам, стани!

42 A nd immediately the damsel arose, and was walking, for she was twelve years; and they were amazed with a great amazement,

И момичето веднага стана и започна да ходи, защото беше на дванадесет години. В същия миг те се смаяха твърде много.

43 a nd he charged them much, that no one may know this thing, and he said that there be given to her to eat.

Исус строго им заръча никой да не научи за това; и заповяда да ѝ дадат да яде.
