1 ` At that time hath Jehovah said unto me, Grave for thee two tables of stone, like the first, and come up unto Me, into the mount, and thou hast made for thee an ark of wood,

В онова време Господ ми каза: Издялай си две каменни плочи като първите и се изкачи при Мене на планината; направѝ си и дървен ковчег.

2 a nd I write on the tables the words which were on the first tables, which thou hast broken, and thou hast placed them in the ark;

И Аз ще напиша на плочите думите, които бяха на първите плочи, които ти строши; а ти да ги сложиш в ковчега.

3 a nd I make an ark of shittim wood, and grave two tables of stone like the first, and go up to the mount, and the two tables in my hand.

И така, направих ковчега от ситимово дърво, издялах две каменни плочи като първите и се изкачих на планината с двете плочи в ръцете си.

4 ` And He writeth on the tables, according to the first writing, the Ten Matters, which Jehovah hath spoken unto you in the mount, out of the midst of the fire, in the day of the assembly, and Jehovah giveth them unto me,

И Той написа на плочите, както беше написано преди това, десетте заповеди, които Господ ви изговори на планината изсред огъня, в деня, когато се събрахте там; и Господ ги даде на мене.

5 a nd I turn and come down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made, and they are there, as Jehovah commanded me.

Тогава се обърнах и слязох от планината, и сложих плочите в ковчега, който направих; и те се намират там досега, според както Господ ми заповяда.

6 ` And the sons of Israel have journeyed from Beeroth of the sons of Jaakan to Mosera, there Aaron died, and he is buried there, and Eleazar his son doth act as priest in his stead;

(След това израелтяните отпътуваха от кладенците на яаканците до Мосера. Там умря Аарон и там беше погребан; а синът му Елеазар стана свещенослужител вместо него.

7 t hence they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.

Оттам отпътуваха до Гадгад, а от Гадгад до Йотвата - земя, богата с водни потоци.

8 ` At that time hath Jehovah separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, to stand before Jehovah, to serve Him, and to bless in His name, unto this day,

В онова време Господ отдели Левиевото племе да носи ковчега за плочите на Господния завет, да стои пред Господа, за да Му служи и да благославя в Името Му, както прави до днес;

9 t herefore there hath not been to Levi a portion and inheritance with his brethren; Jehovah Himself his inheritance, as Jehovah thy God hath spoken to him.

по тази причина левитите нямат дял или наследство между братята си; Господ им е наследство, според както Господ, твоят Бог, им се обеща.)

10 ` And I -- I have stood in the mount, as the former days, forty days and forty nights, and Jehovah hearkeneth unto me also at that time; Jehovah hath not willed to destroy thee.

А аз преседях на планината, както първия път, четиридесет дни и четиридесет нощи; и този път Господ ме послуша и склони да не те погуби.

11 ` And Jehovah saith unto me, Rise, go to journey before the people, and they go in and possess the land which I have sworn to their fathers to give to them.

Тогава Господ ми каза: Стани, предвождай този народ, за да влезе като притежател на земята, за която съм се клел на бащите му да я дам на него.

12 ` And now, Israel, what is Jehovah thy God asking from thee, except to fear Jehovah thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,

А сега, Израелю, какво иска от тебе Господ, твоят Бог, освен да се боиш от Господа, твоя Бог, да ходиш във всичките Му пътища, да Го обичаш и да служиш на Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа,

13 t o keep the commands of Jehovah, and His statutes which I am commanding thee to-day, for good to thee?

за да пазиш заповедите на Господа и наредбите Му, които днес ти давам за твое добро?

14 ` Lo, to Jehovah thy God the heavens and the heavens of the heavens, the earth and all that in it;

Ето, небето на небесата, земята и всичко, което е на нея, принадлежи на Господа, твоя Бог,

15 o nly in thy fathers hath Jehovah delighted -- to love them, and He doth fix on their seed after them -- on you, out of all the peoples as this day;

обаче само бащите ти предпочете Господ и ги възлюби, и измежду всички племена избра вас, потомството им след тях, както виждате днес.

16 a nd ye have circumcised the foreskin of your heart, and your neck ye do not harden any more;

И така, обрежете краекожието на сърцето си и не бъдете вече твърдоглави.

17 f or Jehovah your God -- He God of the gods, and Lord of the lords; God, the great, the mighty, and the fearful; who accepteth not persons, nor taketh a bribe;

Защото Йехова, вашият Бог, е Бог на боговете и Господ на господарите, великият, мощният и страшният Бог, Който не гледа на лице, нито приема дар;

18 H e is doing the judgment of fatherless and widow, and loving the sojourner, to give to him bread and raiment.

Който отдава правото на сирачето и вдовицата и обича чужденеца, като му дава храна и облекло.

19 ` And ye have loved the sojourner, for sojourners ye were in the land of Egypt.

И така, обичайте чужденеца, защото и вие сте били чужденци в Египетската земя.

20 ` Jehovah thy God thou dost fear, Him thou dost serve, and to Him thou dost cleave, and by His name thou dost swear.

От Господа, твоя Бог, да се боиш, на Него да служиш, към Него да бъдеш привързан и в Неговото име да се заклеваш.

21 H e thy praise, and He thy God, who hath done with thee these great and fearful which thine eyes have seen:

С Него трябва да се хвалиш и Той е твоят Бог, Който извърши за тебе тези велики и страшни дела, които очите ти видяха.

22 w ith seventy persons did thy fathers go down to Egypt, and now hath Jehovah thy God made thee as stars of the heavens for multitude.

Бащите ти слязоха в Египет, на брой седемдесет души; а сега Господ, твоят Бог, те направи многоброен като звездите на небето.
