1 ` Thou dost not lift up a vain report; thou dost not put thy hand with a wicked man to be a violent witness.

Да не разнасяш лъжлив слух. Да не съдействаш на неправедния и да не свидетелстваш в полза на неправдата.

2 ` Thou art not after many to evil, nor dost thou testify concerning a strife, to turn aside after many to cause to turn aside;

Да не следваш множеството във вършенето на зло; нито да свидетелстваш в съдебно дело, като изкривяваш правосъдието, вземайки страната на тълпата;

3 a nd a poor man thou dost not honour in his strife.

нито да показваш пристрастие към сиромаха в съдебното му дело.

4 ` When thou meetest thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou dost certainly turn it back to him;

Ако срещнеш заблудилия се вол или осел на неприятеля си, да му го закараш.

5 w hen thou seest the ass of him who is hating thee crouching under its burden, then thou hast ceased from leaving to it -- thou dost certainly leave with him.

Ако видиш, че оселът на неприятеля ти е паднал под товара си и не ти се иска да му помогнеш, помогни заедно с него.

6 ` Thou dost not turn aside the judgment of thy needy one in his strife;

Да не изкривяваш правото на сиромасите в съдебните им дела.

7 f rom a false matter thou dost keep far off, and an innocent and righteous man thou dost not slay; for I do not justify a wicked man.

Отдалечавай се от всяка несправедлива работа и не убивай невинния и праведния; защото Аз няма да оправдая нечестивия.

8 ` And a bribe thou dost not take; for the bribe bindeth the open-, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

Да не приемаш подкупи, защото подкупите заслепяват зрящите и изкривяват думите на праведните.

9 ` And a sojourner thou dost not oppress, and ye -- ye have known the soul of the sojourner, for sojourners ye have been in the land of Egypt.

И да не угнетяваш чужденеца, защото вие знаете какво мъчи сърцето на чужденеца, понеже и вие сте били чужденци в Египетската земя. Закон за земята и съботата

10 ` And six years thou dost sow thy land, and hast gathered its increase;

Шест години да засяваш земята си и да събираш плодовете ѝ;

11 a nd the seventh thou dost release it, and hast left it, and the needy of thy people have eaten, and their leaving doth the beast of the field eat; so dost thou to thy vineyard -- to thine olive-yard.

а в седмата да я оставиш да си почива и да не я обработваш, за да се хранят сиромасите между народа ти от самораслото и полските животни нека ядат оставеното от тях. Така да правиш и с лозето си, и с маслините си.

12 ` Six days thou dost do thy work, and on the seventh day thou dost rest, so that thine ox and thine ass doth rest, and the son of thine handmaid and the sojourner is refreshed;

Шест дни да вършиш работата си; а на седмия да си почиваш, за да си отпочине волът ти и оселът ти и да си отдъхне синът на слугинята ти и чужденецът.

13 a nd in all that which I have said unto you ye do take heed; and the name of other gods ye do not mention; it is not heard on thy mouth.

И внимавайте във всичко, което съм ви говорил; и име на други богове да не споменавате, нито то да се чува от устата ви. Празници

14 ` Three times thou dost keep a feast to Me in a year;

Три пъти в годината да празнуваш празници, посветени на Мене.

15 t he Feast of Unleavened things thou dost keep; seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, as I have commanded thee, at the time appointed the month of Abib; for in it thou hast come forth out of Egypt, and ye do not appear My presence empty;

Да пазиш празника на безквасните хлябове; седем дни да ядеш безквасни хлябове, както съм ти заповядал, на определеното време в месец Авив, защото в него си излязъл от Египет; и никой да не се яви пред Мене с празни ръце;

16 a nd the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of thy works which thou sowest in the field; and the Feast of the In-Gathering, in the outgoing of the year, in thy gathering thy works out of the field.

и празника на жътвата, на първите плодове от труда ти, на това, което си посял в нивата; и празника на беритбата в края на годината, когато прибираш плодовете си от нивата.

17 ` Three times in a year do all thy males appear before the face of the Lord Jehovah.

Три пъти в годината всичките израелтяни от мъжки пол да се явяват пред Господа Йехова.

18 ` Thou dost not sacrifice on a fermented thing the blood of My sacrifice, and the fat of My festival doth not remain till morning;

Да не принасяш кръвта на жертвата Ми с квасен хляб, нито тлъстината от празника Ми да остава през нощта до сутринта.

19 t he beginning of the first-fruits of thy ground thou dost bring into the house of Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

Първите плодове от земята си да принасяш в дома на Господа, твоя Бог. Да не вариш яре в млякото на майка му. Обещания и наставления

20 ` Lo, I am sending a messenger before thee to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee in unto the place which I have prepared;

Ето, изпращам ангел пред тебе да те пази по пътя и да те заведе на мястото, което съм ти приготвил.

21 b e watchful because of his presence, and hearken to his voice, rebel not against him, for he beareth not with your transgression, for My name in his heart;

Внимавайте спрямо него и слушайте гласа му; не го предизвиквайте, защото той няма да прости престъпленията ви; понеже Моето Име е в него.

22 f or, if thou diligently hearken to his voice, and hast done all that which I speak, then I have been at enmity with thine enemies, and have distressed those distressing thee.

Но ако слушаш внимателно гласа му и вършиш всичко, каквото говоря, тогава Аз ще бъда неприятел на твоите неприятели и противник на твоите противници.

23 ` For My messenger goeth before thee, and hath brought thee in unto the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, and I have cut them off.

Защото ангелът Ми ще върви пред теб и ще те въведе при аморейците, хетите, ферезейците, ханаанците, евейците и йевусейците; и ще ги изтребя.

24 ` Thou dost not bow thyself to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their doings, but dost utterly devote them, and thoroughly break their standing pillars.

Да не се кланяш на техните богове, нито да им служиш, нито да вършиш според делата им, а да ги сринеш напълно и да изпотрошиш стълбовете им.

25 ` And ye have served Jehovah your God, and He hath blessed thy bread and thy water, and I have turned aside sickness from thine heart;

А да служиш на Господа, вашия Бог, и Той ще благославя хляба ти и водата ти; и Аз ще премахвам всяка болест помежду ви.

26 t here is not a miscarrying and barren one in thy land; the number of thy days I fulfil:

Няма да има помятаща или бездетна жена в земята ти, числото на дните ти ще направя пълно.

27 M y terror I send before thee, and I have put to death all the people among whom thou comest, and I have given the neck of all thine enemies unto thee.

Ще предизвикам пред вас ужас от Мен и ще обезсиля всичките народи, между които отидеш, и ще направя всичките ти неприятели да обърнат гръб пред тебе.

28 ` And I have sent the hornet before thee, and it hath cast out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee;

Ще изпратя и стършели пред тебе, които ще изгонят пред теб евейците, ханаанците и хетите.

29 I cast them not out from before thee in one year, lest the land be a desolation, and the beast of the field hath multiplied against thee;

Няма да ги прогоня пред тебе за една година да не би да запустее земята и се размножат против тебе полските зверове.

30 l ittle little I cast them out from before thee, till thou art fruitful, and hast inherited the land.

Малко по малко ще ги прогонвам пред тебе, докато се размножиш и завладееш земята.

31 ` And I have set thy border from the Red Sea, even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness unto the River: for I give into your hand the inhabitants of the land, and thou hast cast them out from before thee;

И ще поставя пределите ти от Червеното море до Филистимското море и от пустинята до река Ефрат; защото ще предам местните жители в ръката ти и ти ще ги прогониш пред себе си.

32 t hou dost not make a covenant with them, and with their gods;

Да не сключваш завет с тях, нито с боговете им.

33 t hey do not dwell in thy land, lest they cause thee to sin against Me when thou servest their gods, when it becometh a snare to thee.'

Да не живеят в земята ти, да не би да те накарат да съгрешиш против Мене; защото, ако служиш на боговете им, това ще ти бъде примка.
