1 A nd all the company of the sons of Israel are assembled Shiloh, and they cause the tent of meeting to tabernacle there, and the land hath been subdued before them.

2 A nd there are left among the sons of Israel who have not shared their inheritance, seven tribes,

Между израелтяните обаче останаха седем племена, които още не бяха получили наследството си.

3 a nd Joshua saith unto the sons of Israel, `Till when are ye remiss to go in to possess the land which He hath given to you, Jehovah, God of your fathers?

И така, Исус каза на израелтяните: Докога ще немарите да отидете и завладеете земята, която ви е дал Господ, Бог на бащите ви?

4 G ive for you three men for a tribe, and I send them, and they rise and go up and down through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and come in unto me,

Изберете си по трима мъже от всяко племе и аз ще ги пратя; и като тръгнат, нека обходят земята и я опишат, според както трябва да я наследят, и нека се върнат при мене.

5 a nd they have divided it into seven portions -- Judah doth stay by its border on the south, and the house of Joseph do stay by their border on the north --

Нека я разделят на седем дяла, като Юда си остане в пределите си, на юг, а Йосифовият дом си остане в пределите си на север.

6 a nd ye describe the land seven portions, and have brought in unto me hither, and I have cast for you a lot here before Jehovah our God;

След като опишете земята на седем дяла и донесете описанието тук, при мен, аз ще хвърля жребий за вас тук, пред Господа, нашия Бог.

7 f or there is no portion to the Levites in your midst, for the priesthood of Jehovah their inheritance, and Gad, and Reuben, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh received their inheritance beyond the Jordan eastward, which Moses servant of Jehovah gave to them.'

Защото левитите нямат дял между вас, понеже Господнето свещенство е тяхното наследство; а Гад и Рувим и половината от Манасиевото племе получиха на изток от Йордан наследството си, което Господният слуга Моисей им даде.

8 A nd the men rise and go; and Joshua commandeth those who are going to describe the land, saying, `Go, and walk up and down through the land, and describe it, and turn back unto me, and here I cast for you a lot before Jehovah in Shiloh.'

И така, мъжете станаха и тръгнаха. А на онези, които отидоха да опишат земята, Исус нареди: Идете, обходете земята, за да я опишете, върнете се при мен и аз ще хвърля жребий за вас тук, в Сило, пред Господа.

9 A nd the men go, and pass over through the land, and describe it by cities, in seven portions, on a book, and they come in unto Joshua, unto the camp, Shiloh.

Тогава мъжете отидоха и обходиха земята, описаха я в книга по градове на седем дяла и дойдоха при Исус в стана в Сило.

10 A nd Joshua casteth for them a lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, and there Joshua apportioneth the land to the sons of Israel, according to their divisions.

Тогава Исус хвърли жребий за тях в Сило пред Господа. Там Исус раздели земята на израелтяните според дяловете им.

11 A nd a lot goeth up the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families; and the border of their lot goeth out between the sons of Judah and the sons of Joseph.

Беше хвърлен жребият за племето на Вениаминовите синове според семействата им. Съгласно жребия територията им се падна между Юдовите синове и Йосифовите потомци.

12 A nd the border is to them at the north side from the Jordan, and the border hath gone up unto the side of Jericho on the north, and gone up through the hill-country westward, and its outgoings have been at the wilderness of Beth-Aven;

На север границата им започваше от Йордан; после границата отиваше на север от Йерихон, възлизаше през хълмистата земя на запад и свършваше при ветавенската пустиня;

13 a nd the border hath gone over thence to Luz, unto the side of Luz (it Beth-El) southward, and the border hath gone down Atroth-Addar, by the hill that on the south of the lower Beth-Horon;

оттам границата минаваше на юг от Луз (който е Ветил) и след това слизаше в Атарот-Адар до хълма, който е на юг от долния Ветерон.

14 a nd the border hath been marked out, and hath gone round to the corner of the sea southward, from the hill which at the front of Beth-Horon southward, and its outgoings have been unto Kirjath-Baal (it Kirjath-Jearim), a city of the sons of Judah: this the west quarter.

Оттам границата завиваше към западната страна на юг, от хълма, който е срещу Ветерон, и свършваше с Кириат-Ваал (който е Кириат-иарим), град на Юдовите синове. Това беше западната страна.

15 A nd the south quarter from the end of Kirjath-Jearim, and the border hath gone out westward, and gone out unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah;

А южната страна беше от края на Кириат-иарим, откъдето границата минаваше на запад и свършваше при извора на водата Нефтоя.

16 a nd the border hath come down unto the extremity of the hill which on the front of the valley of the son of Hinnom, which in the valley of the Rephaim northward, and hath gone down the valley of Hinnom unto the side of Jebusi southward, and gone down En-Rogel,

Границата преминаваше до края на хълма, който е срещу долината на Еномовия син и е на север от долината на рафаимите, слизаше през долината на Еном до южната страна на Евус и се спускаше до извора Рогил,

17 a nd hath been marked out on the north, and gone out to En-Shemesh, and gone out unto Geliloth, which over-against the ascent of Adummim, and gone down the stone of Bohan son of Reuben,

и като завиваше от север, минаваше в Енсемес, излизаше в Галилот, който е срещу нагорнището при Адумим, и слизаше при камъка на Рувимовия син Воан;

18 a nd passed over unto the side over-against Arabah northward, and gone down to Arabah;

после минаваше в страната, която е на север срещу Арава, и слизаше в Арава;

19 a nd the border hath passed over unto the side of Beth-Hoglah northward, and the outgoings of the border have been unto the north bay of the salt sea, unto the south extremity of the Jordan; this the south border;

границата минаваше на север от Ветагла и свършваше при северния залив на Соленото море, при южния край на Йордан. Това беше южната граница.

20 a nd the Jordan doth border it at the east quarter; this the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, by its borders round about, for their families.

А границата му на изток беше Йордан. Това беше според границите си наоколо наследството на Вениаминовите синове според семействата им.

21 A nd the cities for the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, for their families, have been Jericho, and Beth-Hoglah, and the valley of Keziz,

А градовете за племето на Вениаминовите синове според семействата им бяха: Йерихон, Ветагла, Емек-кесис,

22 a nd Beth-Arabah, Zemaraim, and Beth-El,

Ветарава, Семараим, Ветил,

23 a nd Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,

Авим, Фара, Офра,

24 a nd Chephar-Haammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve cities and their villages.

Хефар-амона, Афни и Гава; дванадесет града заедно със селата им;

25 G ibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,

Гаваон, Рама, Вирот,

26 a nd Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,

Масфа, Хефира, Моса,

27 a nd Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,

Рекем, Ерфаил, Тарала,

28 a nd Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi (it Jerusalem), Gibeath, Kirjath: fourteen cities and their villages. This the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin, for their families.

Сила, Елеф, Евус (който е Йерусалим), Гаваот и Кириат; четиринадесет града заедно със селата им. Това е наследството на Вениаминовите синове според семействата им.
