1 A nd Jesus was walking after these things in Galilee, for he did not wish to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him,

След това Исус ходеше из Галилея; Той не искаше да ходи из Юдея, понеже юдеите искаха да Го убият.

2 a nd the feast of the Jews was nigh -- that of tabernacles --

А наближаваше юдейският празник Шатроразпъване.

3 h is brethren, therefore, said unto him, `Remove hence, and go away to Judea, that thy disciples also may behold thy works that thou dost;

Затова Неговите братя Му казаха: Замини оттук и иди в Юдея, така че и Твоите ученици да видят делата, които вършиш;

4 f or no one in secret doth anything, and himself seeketh to be in public; if thou dost these things -- manifest thyself to the world;'

защото никой, който сам иска да бъде известен, не върши нищо скришно. Щом вършиш тези дела, изяви Себе Си на света.

5 f or not even were his brethren believing in him.

Защото дори и братята Му не вярваха в Него.

6 J esus, therefore, saith to them, `My time is not yet present, but your time is always ready;

А Исус им каза: Моето време още не е дошло, а вашето време винаги е готово. Исус Христос и Неговите братя

7 t he world is not able to hate you, but me it doth hate, because I testify concerning it that its works are evil.

Вас светът не може да мрази, а Мене мрази, защото Аз свидетелствам за него, че делата му са нечестиви.

8 Y e -- go ye up to this feast; I do not yet go up to this feast, because my time hath not yet been fulfilled;'

Идете вие на празника; Аз все още няма да отида на този празник, защото времето Ми още не се е изпълнило.

9 a nd saying these things to them, he remained in Galilee.

И като им каза това, остана в Галилея. Исус Христос на празника Шатроразпъване в Йерусалим

10 A nd when his brethren went up, then also he himself went up to the feast, not manifestly, but as in secret;

А когато братята Му бяха отишли на празника, тогава и Той отиде, не явно, а някак си тайно.

11 t he Jews, therefore, were seeking him, in the feast, and said, `Where is that one?'

А юдеите Го търсиха на празника и разпитваха: Къде е Онзи?

12 a nd there was much murmuring about him among the multitudes, some indeed said -- `He is good;' and others said, `No, but he leadeth astray the multitude;'

И за Него имаше голямо брожение сред народа; едни казваха: Добър човек е; други казваха: Не е, но заблуждава хората.

13 n o one, however, was speaking freely about him, through fear of the Jews.

Обаче никой не говореше положително за Него поради страха от юдеите.

14 A nd it being now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up to the temple, and he was teaching,

Но когато празникът вече се преполовяваше, Исус се изкачи в храма и започна да поучава.

15 a nd the Jews were wondering, saying, `How hath this one known letters -- not having learned?'

Затова юдеите се чудеха и казваха: Как Този знае книга, като не се е учил?

16 J esus answered them and said, `My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me;

Тогава Исус им отговори: Моето учение не е Мое, а на Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

17 i f any one may will to do His will, he shall know concerning the teaching, whether it is of God, or -- I do speak from myself.

Ако някой иска да върши Неговата воля, ще познае дали учението е от Бога, или Аз от Себе Си говоря.

18 ` He who is speaking from himself his own glory doth seek, but he who is seeking the glory of him who sent him, this one is true, and unrighteousness is not in him;

Който говори от себе си, търси своята собствена прослава; а който търси славата на Онзи, Който Го е пратил, Той е истинен и в Него няма неправда.

19 h ath not Moses given you the law? and none of you doth the law; why me do ye seek to kill?'

Не ви ли даде Моисей закона? Но все пак никой от вас не изпълнява закона. Защо искате да Ме убиете?

20 T he multitude answered and said, `Thou hast a demon, who doth seek to kill thee?'

Тълпата отвърна: Бяс имаш. Кой иска да Те убие?

21 J esus answered and said to them, `One work I did, and ye all wonder,

Исус им отговори: Едно дело извърших и всички се чудите на Мене поради него.

22 b ecause of this, Moses hath given you the circumcision -- not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers -- and on a sabbath ye circumcise a man;

Моисей ви даде обрязването (не че е от Моисей, а от бащите); и в събота обрязвате човека.

23 i f a man doth receive circumcision on a sabbath that the law of Moses may not be broken, are ye wroth with me that I made a man all whole on a sabbath?

Ако се обрязва човек в събота, за да не се наруши Моисеевият закон, на Мене ли се гневите за това, че цял човек направих здрав в събота?

24 j udge not according to appearance, but the righteous judgment judge.'

Не съдете по външността, но съдете справедливо.

25 C ertain, therefore, of the Jerusalemites said, `Is not this he whom they are seeking to kill?

Тогава някои от йерусалимците казаха: Не е ли Този човекът, Когото искат да убият?

26 a nd, lo, he doth speak freely, and they say nothing to him; did the rulers at all know truly that this is truly the Christ?

Ето, Той явно говори и нищо не Му казват. Да не би първенците всъщност да знаят, че Този е Христос?

27 b ut this one -- we have known whence he is; and the Christ, when he doth come, no one doth know whence he is.'

Обаче Този знаем откъде е; а когато дойде Христос, никой няма да знае откъде е.

28 J esus cried, therefore, in the temple, teaching and saying, `Ye have both known me, and ye have known whence I am; and I have not come of myself, but He who sent me is true, whom ye have not known;

Затова Исус, като поучаваше в храма, издигна глас и каза: И Мене познавате, и откъде съм знаете; и Аз от само Себе Си не съм дошъл, но истинен е Този, Който Ме е пратил, Когото вие не познавате.

29 a nd I have known Him, because I am from Him, and He did send me.'

Аз Го познавам, защото съм от Него и Той Ме е пратил.

30 T hey were seeking, therefore, to seize him, and no one laid the hand on him, because his hour had not yet come,

И така, искаха да Го хванат; но никой не сложи ръка на Него, защото часът Му още не беше дошъл.

31 a nd many out of the multitude did believe in him, and said -- `The Christ -- when he may come -- will he do more signs than these that this one did?'

Обаче мнозина от народа повярваха в Него и казваха: Когато дойде Христос, нима ще извърши повече знамения от тези, които Този е извършил?

32 T he Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers that they may take him;

Фарисеите чуха, че така мълвял народът за Него; и главните свещеници и фарисеите пратиха служители да Го хванат.

33 J esus, therefore, said to them, `Yet a little time I am with you, and I go away unto Him who sent me;

А Исус им каза: Още малко време съм с вас и тогава ще отида при Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

34 y e will seek me, and ye shall not find; and where I am, ye are not able to come.'

Ще Ме търсите и няма да Ме намерите; и където съм Аз, вие не можете да дойдете.

35 T he Jews, therefore, said among themselves, `Whither is this one about to go that we shall not find him? -- to the dispersion of the Greeks is he about to go? and to teach the Greeks;

На това юдеите казаха помежду си: Къде ще отиде Този, че няма да можем да Го намерим? Да не би да отиде при разпръснатите между гърците и да поучава гърците?

36 w hat is this word that he said, Ye will seek me, and ye shall not find? and, Where I am, ye are not able to come?'

Какво значат тези думи, които каза: Ще Ме търсите и няма да Ме намерите; и където съм Аз, вие не можете да дойдете? Исус Христос - Извор на живата вода

37 A nd in the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, `If any one doth thirst, let him come unto me and drink;

А в последния ден, великия ден на празника, Исус застана, издигна глас и каза: Ако някой е жаден, нека дойде при Мен и да пие.

38 h e who is believing in me, according as the Writing said, Rivers out of his belly shall flow of living water;'

Ако някой вярва в Мене, реки от жива вода ще потекат от утробата му, както казва Писанието.

39 a nd this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

А това каза за Духа, Когото вярващите в Него щяха да приемат; защото Святият Дух още не бе даден, понеже Исус още не бе се прославил. Разделението сред народа относно Исус Христос

40 M any, therefore out of the multitude, having heard the word, said, `This is truly the Prophet;'

Затова някои от множеството, които чуха тези думи, казваха: Наистина Този е Пророкът.

41 o thers said, `This is the Christ;' and others said, `Why, out of Galilee doth the Christ come?

Други казваха: Този е Христос. Някои пък се чудеха: Нима от Галилея ще дойде Христос?

42 D id not the Writing say, that out of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem -- the village where David was -- the Christ doth come?'

Не казва ли Писанието, че Христос ще дойде от Давидовото потомство и от градчето Витлеем, където беше Давид?

43 A division, therefore, arose among the multitude because of him.

И така възникна раздор между народа за Него.

44 A nd certain of them were willing to seize him, but no one laid hands on him;

И някои от тях искаха да Го хванат; но никой не сложи ръце на Него.

45 t he officers came, therefore, unto the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, `Wherefore did ye not bring him?'

Тогава служителите дойдоха при главните свещеници и фарисеите; и те им казаха: Защо не Го доведохте?

46 T he officers answered, `Never so spake man -- as this man.'

Служителите отговориха: Никой не е говорил така, както Този Човек.

47 T he Pharisees, therefore, answered them, `Have ye also been led astray?

А фарисеите им отговориха: И вие ли сте заблудени?

48 d id any one out of the rulers believe in him? or out of the Pharisees?

Повярвал ли е в Него някой от първенците или от фарисеите?

49 b ut this multitude, that is not knowing the law, is accursed.'

Но това простолюдие, което не знае закона, е проклето.

50 N icodemus saith unto them -- he who came by night unto him -- being one of them,

Никодим, който беше един от тях, същият, който по-рано беше ходил при Исус през нощта, им каза:

51 ` Doth our law judge the man, if it may not hear from him first, and know what he doth?'

Нашият закон осъжда ли човек, преди да го изслуша и да разбере какво върши?

52 T hey answered and said to him, `Art thou also out of Galilee? search and see, that a prophet out of Galilee hath not risen;'

Те му отговориха: Да не си и ти от Галилея? Изследвай писаното и виж, че от Галилея пророк не се издига.

53 a nd each one went on to his house, but Jesus went on to the mount of the Olives.

И всеки отиде у дома си.
