1 ` Judge not, that ye may not be judged,

¶ No juzguéis, para que no seáis juzgados.

2 f or in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you.

Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados; y con la medida con que medís, os volverán a medir.

3 ` And why dost thou behold the mote that in thy brother's eye, and the beam that in thine own eye dost not consider?

Y ¿por qué miras la mota que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no echas de ver la viga que está en tu ojo?

4 o r, how wilt thou say to thy brother, Suffer I may cast out the mote from thine eye, and lo, the beam in thine own eye?

O ¿cómo dirás a tu hermano: Espera, echaré de tu ojo la mota, y he aquí hay una viga en tu ojo?

5 H ypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

¡Hipócrita! Echa primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces mirarás en echar la mota del ojo de tu hermano.

6 ` Ye may not give that which is to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, that they may not trample them among their feet, and having turned -- may rend you.

No deis lo santo a los perros, ni echéis vuestras perlas delante de los puercos; no sea que las pisoteen, y se vuelvan y os despedacen.

7 ` Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you;

¶ Pedid, y se os dará; buscad, y hallaréis; tocad, y se os abrirá.

8 f or every one who is asking doth receive, and he who is seeking doth find, and to him who is knocking it shall be opened.

Porque cualquiera que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que toca, se le abre.

9 ` Or what man is of you, of whom, if his son may ask a loaf -- a stone will he present to him?

¿Qué hombre hay de vosotros, a quien si su hijo pidiere pan, le dará una piedra?

10 a nd if a fish he may ask -- a serpent will he present to him?

¿Y si le pidiere un pez, le dará una serpiente?

11 i f, therefore, ye being evil, have known good gifts to give to your children, how much more shall your Father who in the heavens give good things to those asking him?

Pues si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos, ¿cuánto más vuestro Padre que está en los cielos, dará buenas cosas a los que le piden?

12 ` All things, therefore, whatever ye may will that men may be doing to you, so also do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.

¶ Así que, todas las cosas que quisiereis que los hombres hicieren con vosotros, así también haced vosotros con ellos; porque esta es la ley y los profetas.

13 ` Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide the gate, and broad the way that is leading to the destruction, and many are those going in through it;

Entrad por la puerta estrecha: porque el camino que lleva a perdición es ancho y espacioso; y los que van por él, son muchos.

14 h ow strait the gate, and compressed the way that is leading to the life, and few are those finding it!

Porque estrecha es la puerta, y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida; y pocos son los que lo hallan.

15 ` But, take heed of the false prophets, who come unto you in sheep's clothing, and inwardly are ravening wolves.

¶ También guardaos de los falsos profetas, que vienen a vosotros con vestidos de ovejas, mas de dentro son lobos robadores.

16 F rom their fruits ye shall know them; do gather from thorns grapes? or from thistles figs?

Por sus frutos los conoceréis. ¿Se cogen uvas de los espinos, o higos de los abrojos?

17 s o every good tree doth yield good fruits, but the bad tree doth yield evil fruits.

De esta manera, todo buen árbol lleva buenos frutos; mas el árbol podrido lleva malos frutos.

18 A good tree is not able to yield evil fruits, nor a bad tree to yield good fruits.

No puede el buen árbol llevar malos frutos, ni el árbol podrido llevar frutos buenos.

19 E very tree not yielding good fruit is cut down and is cast to fire:

Todo árbol que no lleva buen fruto, se corta y se echa en el fuego.

20 t herefore from their fruits ye shall know them.

Así que, por sus frutos los conoceréis.

21 ` Not every one who is saying to me Lord, lord, shall come into the reign of the heavens; but he who is doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens.

¶ No todo el que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el Reino de los cielos, sino el que hiciere la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos.

22 M any will say to me in that day, Lord, lord, have we not in thy name prophesied? and in thy name cast out demons? and in thy name done many mighty things?

Muchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre sacamos demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchas grandezas?

23 a nd then I will acknowledge to them, that -- I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.

Y entonces les confesaré: Nunca os conocí; apartaos de mí, obradores de maldad.

24 ` Therefore, every one who doth hear of me these words, and doth do them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock;

Cualquiera, pues, que me oye estas palabras, y las hace, le compararé al varón prudente, que edificó su casa sobre la peña;

25 a nd the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded on the rock.

y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, y combatieron aquella casa; y no cayó, porque estaba fundada sobre la peña.

26 ` And every one who is hearing of me these words, and is not doing them, shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand;

Y cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y no las hace, le compararé al varón loco, que edificó su casa sobre la arena;

27 a nd the rain did descend, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and they beat on that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.'

y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, e hicieron ímpetu en aquella casa; y cayó; y fue grande su ruina.

28 A nd it came to pass, when Jesus ended these words, the multitudes were astonished at his teaching,

Y cuando Jesús acabó estas palabras, la multitud se admiraba de su doctrina;

29 f or he was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes.

porque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los escribas.
