1 A nd his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.

Mas su casa la edificó Salomón en trece años, y la acabó toda.

2 A nd he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;

Y asimismo edificó la casa del bosque del Líbano, la cual tenía cien codos de longitud, y cincuenta codos de anchura, y treinta codos de altura, sobre cuatro órdenes de columnas de cedro, con vigas de cedro sobre las columnas.

3 a nd covered with cedar above, on the sides that on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.

Y estaba cubierta de tablas de cedro arriba sobre las vigas, que se apoyaban en cuarenta y cinco columnas; cada hilera tenía quince columnas.

4 A nd windows in three rows, and sight over-against sight three times.

Las ventanas estaban por tres órdenes, una ventana contra la otra por tres órdenes.

5 A nd all the openings and the side-posts square -- windows; and sight over-against sight three times.

Y todas la puertas y postes eran cuadrados; y unas ventanas estaban frente a las otras en tres órdenes.

6 A nd the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch before them, and pillars and a thick place before them.

También hizo un portal de columnas, que tenía de largo cincuenta codos, y treinta codos de ancho; y aquel portal estaba delante de aquellas otras, con sus columnas y maderos correspondientes.

7 A nd the porch of the throne where he judgeth -- the porch of judgment -- he hath made, and covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.

Hizo asimismo el portal del trono en que había de juzgar, que es el portal del juicio, y lo vistió de cedro de un lado del suelo al otro.

8 A s to his house where he dwelleth, the other court within the porch -- as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh -- whom Solomon hath taken -- like this porch.

Y en la casa en que él moraba, había otra sala dentro del portal, de obra semejante a ésta. Edificó también Salomón una casa para la hija de Faraón, que había tomado por mujer, de la misma obra de aquel portal.

9 A ll these of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.

Todas aquellas obras fueron de piedras de precio, cortadas y aserradas con sierras según las medidas, así por dentro como por fuera, desde el cimiento hasta las vigas, y asimismo por fuera hasta el gran atrio.

10 A nd the foundation of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;

El cimiento era de piedras de precio, de piedras grandes, de piedras de diez codos, y de piedras de ocho codos.

11 a nd above precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;

De allí hacia arriba eran también piedras de precio, labradas conforme a sus medidas, y obra de cedro.

12 a nd the great court round about three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.

Y en el gran atrio alrededor había tres órdenes de piedras labradas, y un orden de vigas de cedro; y así el atrio interior de la Casa del SEÑOR, y el atrio de la Casa.

13 A nd king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre --

¶ Y envió el rey Salomón, e hizo venir de Tiro a Hiram,

14 h e son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass -- and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.

el cual era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre había sido de Tiro; que labraba en bronce, lleno de sabiduría y de inteligencia y saber en toda obra de bronce. Este pues vino al rey Salomón, e hizo toda su obra.

15 A nd he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.

Este hizo dos columnas de bronce, la altura de cada cual era de dieciocho codos; y rodeaba a cada columna un hilo de doce codos.

16 A nd two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.

Hizo también dos capiteles de fundición de bronce, para que fueran puestos sobre las cabezas de las columnas; la altura de un capitel era de cinco codos, y la del otro capitel de cinco codos.

17 N ets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work for the chapiters that on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.

E hizo unas trenzas a manera de red, y unas cintas a manera de cadenas, para los capiteles que se habían de poner sobre las cabezas de las columnas; siete para cada capitel.

18 A nd he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.

Y cuando hubo hecho las columnas, hizo también dos órdenes de granadas alrededor en el enredado, para cubrir los capiteles que estaban en las cabezas de las columnas con las granadas; y de la misma forma hizo en el otro capitel.

19 A nd the chapiters that on the top of the pillars of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;

Los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas tenían forma de lirios como las que se veían en el portal, por cuatro codos.

20 a nd the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that beside the net; and the pomegranates two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.

Los capiteles que estaban sobre las dos columnas tenían también doscientas granadas en dos órdenes alrededor en cada capitel, encima del vientre del capitel, el cual vientre estaba delante del enredado.

21 A nd he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;

Estas columnas puso enhiestas en el portal del templo. Y cuando hubo enhestado la columna de la mano derecha, le puso por nombre Jaquín (El SEÑOR establece); y enhestando la columna de la mano izquierda, le puso su nombre Boaz (Solo en El hay fortaleza).

22 a nd on the top of the pillars lily-work; and the work of the pillars completed.

En las cabezas de las columnas había una obra de lirios; y así se acabó la obra de las columnas.

23 A nd he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; round all about, and five by the cubit its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;

Hizo asimismo un mar de fundición, de diez codos de un lado al otro, perfectamente redondo; su altura era de cinco codos, y lo ceñía alrededor un cordón de treinta codos.

24 a nd knops beneath its brim round about are compassing it, ten by the cubit, going round the sea round about; in two rows the knops, cast in its being cast.

Y cercaban aquel mar por debajo de su labio en derredor unas bolas como calabazas, diez en cada codo, que ceñían el mar alrededor en dos órdenes, las cuales habían sido fundidas cuando él fue fundido.

25 I t is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea upon them above, and all their hinder parts inward.

Y estaba asentado sobre doce bueyes; tres miraban al norte, y tres miraban al poniente, y tres miraban al mediodía, y tres miraban al oriente; sobre éstos se apoyaba el mar, y los traseros de ellos estaban hacia la parte de adentro.

26 A nd its thickness an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.

El grueso del mar era de un palmo, y su labio era labrado como el labio de un cáliz, con flores de lirios; y cabían en él dos mil batos.

27 A nd he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.

Hizo también diez basas de bronce, siendo la longitud de cada basa de cuatro codos, y la anchura de cuatro codos, y de tres codos la altura.

28 A nd this the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders between the joinings;

La obra de las basas era ésta: tenían unas cintas, las cuales estaban entre molduras;

29 a nd on the borders that between the joinings lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen additions -- sloping work.

y sobre aquellas cintas que estaban entre las molduras, figuras de leones, y de bueyes, y de querubines; y sobre las molduras de la basa, así encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas añadiduras de bajo relieve.

30 A nd four wheels of brass to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders -- under the laver the molten shoulders, beside each addition.

Cada basa tenía cuatro ruedas de bronce con cardinales (ejes con bisagras) de bronce; y en sus cuatro esquinas había unos hombrillos, los cuales nacían de fundición a cada lado de aquellas añadiduras, para estar debajo de la fuente.

31 A nd its mouth within the chapiter and above by the cubit, and its mouth round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth carvings and their borders, square, not round.

Su boca entraba en el capitel (en el remate que salía de la basa) un codo para arriba; y era su boca redonda, de la hechura (del mismo remate) de la basa, de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus cintas, las cuales eran cuadradas, no redondas.

32 A nd the four wheels under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels in the base, and the height of the one wheel a cubit and half a cubit.

Las cuatro ruedas estaban debajo de las cintas, y los ejes de las ruedas nacían en la misma basa. La altura de cada rueda era de un codo y medio.

33 A nd the work of the wheels as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole molten.

Y la hechura de las ruedas era como la hechura de las ruedas de un carro; sus ejes, sus rayos, y sus cubos, y sus cinchos, todo era de fundición.

34 A nd four shoulders unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base its shoulders.

Asimismo los cuatro hombrillos a las cuatro esquinas de cada basa; y los hombrillos eran de la misma basa.

35 A nd in the top of the base the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders of the same.

Y en lo alto de la basa había medio codo de altura redondo por todas partes; y encima de la basa sus molduras y cintas, las cuales eran de ella misma.

36 A nd he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.

E hizo en las tablas de las molduras, y en las cintas, entalladuras de querubines, y de leones, y de palmas, delante de las añadiduras de cada una alrededor.

37 T hus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.

De esta forma hizo diez basas fundidas de una misma manera, de una misma medida, y de una misma entalladura.

38 A nd he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit the one laver, one laver on the one base to the ten bases;

Hizo también diez fuentes de bronce; cada fuente contenía cuarenta batos, y cada una era de cuatro codos; y asentó una fuente sobre cada una de las diez basas.

39 a nd he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward -- over-against the south.

Y puso cinco basas a la mano derecha de la Casa, y las otras cinco a la mano izquierda de la Casa; y asentó el mar al lado derecho de la Casa, al oriente, hacia el mediodía.

40 A nd Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, the house of Jehovah;

Asimismo hizo Hiram fuentes, y tenazas, y cuencos. Así acabó toda la obra que hizo a Salomón para la Casa del SEÑOR:

41 p illars two, and bowls of the chapiters that on the top of the pillars two, and the nets two, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that on the top of the pillars;

Es a saber, dos columnas, y los vasos redondos de los capiteles que estaban en lo alto de las dos columnas; y dos redes que cubrían los dos vasos redondos de los capiteles que estaban sobre la cabeza de las columnas;

42 a nd the pomegranates four hundred for the two nets, two rows of pomegranates for the one net, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that on the front of the pillars;

y cuatrocientas granadas para las dos redes, es a saber, dos órdenes de granadas en cada red, para cubrir los dos vasos redondos que estaban sobre las cabezas de las columnas;

43 a nd the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;

y las diez basas, y las diez fuentes sobre las basas;

44 a nd the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,

y un mar, y doce bueyes debajo del mar;

45 a nd the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon the house of Jehovah, of brass -- polished.

calderos, tenazas, cuencos; y todos los otros vasos que Hiram hizo al rey Salomón, para la Casa del SEÑOR de bronce bruñido.

46 I n the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.

Todo lo hizo fundir el rey en la llanura del Jordán, en tierra arcillosa, entre Sucot y Saretán.

47 A nd Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.

Y dejó Salomón sin inquirir el peso del bronce de todos los vasos, por la gran multitud de ellos.

48 A nd Solomon maketh all the vessels that in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table -- on which the bread of the Presence -- of gold,

E hizo Salomón todos los vasos que pertenecían a la Casa del SEÑOR; un altar de oro, y una mesa sobre la cual estaban los panes de la proposición, también de oro;

49 a nd the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,

y los candeleros de oro purísimo, cinco a la mano derecha, y otros cinco a la izquierda, delante del oráculo; con las flores, y las lámparas, y despabiladeras de oro;

50 a nd the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.

asimismo los cántaros, vasos, cuencos, cucharros, e incensarios, de oro purísimo; también de oro los quiciales de las puertas de la Casa de adentro, es a saber del lugar santísimo, y los de las puertas de la casa del templo.

51 A nd it is complete -- all the work that king Solomon hath made the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.

Así se completó toda la obra que dispuso hacer el rey Salomón para la Casa del SEÑOR. Y trajo Salomón lo que David su padre había dedicado (Heb. las santidades de David), es a saber, plata, oro, y vasos, y lo puso todo en guarda en las tesorerías de la Casa del SEÑOR.
