1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, after the death of the two sons of Aaron, in their drawing near before Jehovah, and they die;

Falou o Senhor a Moisés, depois da morte dos dois filhos de Arão, que morreram quando se chegaram diante do Senhor.

2 y ea, Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Speak unto Aaron thy brother, and he cometh not in at all times unto the sanctuary within the vail, unto the front of the mercy-seat, which upon the ark, and he dieth not, for in a cloud I am seen upon the mercy-seat.

Disse, pois, o Senhor a Moisés: Dize a Arão, teu irmão, que não entre em todo tempo no lugar santo, para dentro do véu, diante do propiciatório que está sobre a arca, para que não morra; porque aparecerei na nuvem sobre o propiciatório.

3 ` With this doth Aaron come in unto the sanctuary; with a bullock, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering;

Com isto entrará Arão no lugar santo: com um novilho, para oferta pelo pecado, e um carneiro para holocausto.

4 a holy linen coat he putteth on, and linen trousers are on his flesh, and with a linen girdle he girdeth himself, and with a linen mitre he wrappeth himself up; they holy garments; and he hath bathed with water his flesh, and hath put them on.

Vestirá ele a túnica sagrada de linho, e terá as calças de linho sobre a sua carne, e cingir-se-á com o cinto de linho, e porá na cabeça a mitra de linho; essas são as vestes sagradas; por isso banhará o seu corpo em água, e as vestirá.

5 ` And from the company of the sons of Israel he taketh two kids of the goats for a sin-offering, and one ram for a burnt-offering;

E da congregação dos filhos de Israel tomará dois bodes para oferta pelo pecado e um carneiro para holocausto.

6 a nd Aaron hath brought near the bullock of the sin-offering which is his own, and hath made atonement for himself, and for his house;

Depois Arão oferecerá o novilho da oferta pelo pecado, o qual será para ele, e fará expiação por si e pela sua casa.

7 a nd he hath taken the two goats, and hath caused them to stand before Jehovah, at the opening of the tent of meeting.

Também tomará os dois bodes, e os porá perante o Senhor, ã porta da tenda da revelação.

8 ` And Aaron hath given lots over the two goats, one lot for Jehovah, and one lot for a goat of departure;

E Arão lançará sortes sobre os dois bodes: uma pelo Senhor, e a outra por Azazel.

9 a nd Aaron hath brought near the goat on which the lot for Jehovah hath gone up, and hath made it a sin-offering.

Então apresentará o bode sobre o qual cair a sorte pelo Senhor, e o oferecerá como oferta pelo pecado;

10 ` And the goat on which the lot for a goat of departure hath gone up is caused to stand living before Jehovah to make atonement by it, to send it away for a goat of departure into the wilderness.

mas o bode sobre que cair a sorte para Azazel será posto vivo perante o Senhor, para fazer expiação com ele a fim de enviá-lo ao deserto para Azazel.

11 ` And Aaron hath brought near the bullock of the sin-offering which is his own, and hath made atonement for himself, and for his house, and hath slaughtered the bullock of the sin-offering which his own,

Arão, pois, apresentará o novilho da oferta pelo pecado, que é por ele, e fará expiação por si e pela sua casa; e imolará o novilho que é a sua oferta pelo pecado.

12 a nd hath taken the fulness of the censer of burning coals of fire from off the altar, from before Jehovah, and the fulness of his hands of thin spice-perfume, and hath brought within the vail;

Então tomará um incensário cheio de brasas de fogo de sobre o altar, diante do Senhor, e dois punhados de incenso aromático bem moído, e os trará para dentro do véu;

13 a nd he hath put the perfume on the fire before Jehovah, and the cloud of the perfume hath covered the mercy-seat which on the testimony, and he dieth not.

e porá o incenso sobre o fogo perante o Senhor, a fim de que a nuvem o incenso cubra o propiciatório, que está sobre o testemunho, para que não morra.

14 ` And he hath taken of the blood of the bullock, and hath sprinkled with his finger on the front of the mercy-seat eastward; even at the front of the mercy-seat he doth sprinkle seven times of the blood with his finger.

Tomará do sangue do novilho, e o espargirá com o dedo sobre o propiciatório ao lado oriental; e perante o propiciatório espargirá do sangue sete vezes com o dedo.

15 ` And he hath slaughtered the goat of the sin-offering which the people's, and hath brought in its blood unto the inside of the vail, and hath done with its blood as he hath done with the blood of the bullock, and hath sprinkled it on the mercy-seat, and at the front of the mercy-seat,

Depois imolará o bode da oferta pelo pecado, que é pelo povo, e trará o sangue o bode para dentro do véu; e fará com ele como fez com o sangue do novilho, espargindo-o sobre o propiciatório, e perante o propiciatório;

16 a nd he hath made atonement for the sanctuary because of the uncleanness of the sons of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins; and so he doth for the tent of meeting which is tabernacling with them in the midst of their uncleannesses.

e fará expiação pelo santuário por causa das imundícias dos filhos de Israel e das suas transgressões, sim, de todos os seus pecados. Assim também fará pela tenda da revelação, que permanece com eles no meio das suas imundícias.

17 ` And no man is in the tent of meeting in his going in to make atonement in the sanctuary, till his coming out; and he hath made atonement for himself, and for his house, and for all the assembly of Israel.

Nenhum homem estará na tenda da revelação quando Arão entrar para fazer expiação no lugar santo, até que ele saia, depois de ter feito expiação por si mesmo, e pela sua casa, e por toda a congregação de Israel.

18 ` And he hath gone out unto the altar which before Jehovah, and hath made atonement for it; and he hath taken of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and hath put on the horns of the altar round about;

Então sairá ao altar, que está perante o Senhor, e fará expiação pelo altar; tomará do sangue do novilho, e do sangue do bode, e o porá sobre as pontas do altar ao redor.

19 a nd he hath sprinkled on it of the blood with his finger seven times, and hath cleansed it, and hath hallowed it from the uncleannesses of the sons of Israel.

E do sangue espargirá com o dedo sete vezes sobre o altar, purificando-o e santificando-o das imundícias dos filhos de Israel.

20 ` And he hath ceased from making atonement the sanctuary, and the tent of meeting, and the altar, and hath brought near the living goat;

Quando Arão houver acabado de fazer expiação pelo lugar santo, pela tenda da revelação, e pelo altar, apresentará o bode vivo;

21 a nd Aaron hath laid his two hands on the head of the living goat, and hath confessed over it all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, and hath put them on the head of the goat, and hath sent away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness;

e, pondo as mãos sobre a cabeça do bode vivo, confessará sobre ele todas as iniqüidades dos filhos de Israel, e todas as suas transgressões, sim, todos os seus pecados; e os porá sobre a cabeça do bode, e enviá-lo-á para o deserto, pela mão de um homem designado para isso.

22 a nd the goat hath borne on him all their iniquities unto a land of separation. `And he hath sent the goat away into the wilderness,

Assim aquele bode levará sobre si todas as iniqüidades deles para uma região solitária; e esse homem soltará o bode no deserto.

23 a nd Aaron hath come in unto the tent of meeting, and hath stripped off the linen garments which he had put on in his going in unto the sanctuary, and hath placed them there;

Depois Arão entrará na tenda da revelação, e despirá as vestes de linho, que havia vestido quando entrara no lugar santo, e ali as deixará.

24 a nd he hath bathed his flesh with water in the holy place, and hath put on his garments, and hath come out, and hath made his burnt-offering, and the burnt-offering of the people, and hath made atonement for himself and for the people;

E banhará o seu corpo em água num lugar santo, e vestirá as suas próprias vestes; então sairá e oferecerá o seu holocausto, e o holocausto do povo, e fará expiação por si e pelo povo.

25 a nd with the fat of the sin-offering he doth make perfume on the altar.

Também queimará sobre o altar a gordura da oferta pelo pecado.

26 ` And he who is sending away the goat for a goat of departure doth wash his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and afterwards he cometh in unto the camp.

E aquele que tiver soltado o bode para Azazel lavará as suas vestes, e banhará o seu corpo em água, e depois entrará no arraial.

27 ` And the bullock of the sin-offering, and the goat of the sin-offering, whose blood hath been brought in to make atonement in the sanctuary, doth bring out unto the outside of the camp, and they have burnt with fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung;

Mas o novilho da oferta pelo pecado e o bode da oferta pelo pecado, cujo sangue foi trazido para fazer expiação no lugar santo, serão levados para fora do arraial; e lhes queimarão no fogo as peles, a carne e o excremento.

28 a nd he who is burning them doth wash his garments, and hath bathed his flesh with water, and afterwards he cometh in unto the camp.

Aquele que os queimar lavará as suas vestes, banhara o seu corpo em água, e depois entrará no arraial.

29 ` And it hath been to you for a statute age-during, in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month, ye humble yourselves, and do no work -- the native, and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst;

Também isto vos será por estatuto perpétuo: no sétimo mês, aos dez do mês, afligireis as vossas almas, e não fareis trabalho algum, nem o natural nem o estrangeiro que peregrina entre vos;

30 f or on this day he maketh atonement for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins before Jehovah ye are clean;

porque nesse dia se fará expiação por vós, para purificar-vos; de todos os vossos pecados sereis purificados perante o Senhor.

31 i t to you a sabbath of rest, and ye have humbled yourselves -- a statute age-during.

Será sábado de descanso solene para vós, e afligireis as vossas almas; é estatuto perpétuo.

32 ` And the priest whom he doth anoint, and whose hand he doth consecrate to act as priest instead of his father, hath made atonement, and hath put on the linen garments, the holy garments;

E o sacerdote que for ungido e que for sagrado para administrar o sacerdócio no lugar de seu pai, fará a expiação, havendo vestido as vestes de linho, isto é, as vestes sagradas;

33 a nd he hath made atonement the holy sanctuary; and the tent of meeting, even the altar he doth make atonement; yea, for the priests, and for all the people of the assembly he maketh atonement.

assim fará expiação pelo santuário; também fará expiação pela tenda da revelação e pelo altar; igualmente fará expiação e pelos sacerdotes e por todo o povo da congregação.

34 ` And this hath been to you for a statute age-during, to make atonement for the sons of Israel, because of all their sins, once in a year;' and he doth as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

Isto vos será por estatuto perpétuo, para fazer expiação uma vez no ano pelos filhos de Israel por causa de todos os seus pecados. E fez Arão como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
