1 T hese journeys of the sons of Israel who have come out of the land of Egypt, by their hosts, by the hand of Moses and Aaron;

Das sind die Reisen der Kinder Israel, da sie aus Ägyptenland gezogen sind mit ihrem Heer durch Mose und Aaron.

2 a nd Moses writeth their outgoings, by their journeys, by the command of Jehovah; and these their journeys, by their outgoings:

Und Mose beschrieb ihren Auszug, wie sie zogen nach dem Befehl des HERRN, und dies sind die Reisen ihres Zuges.

3 A nd they journey from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the morrow of the passover have the sons of Israel gone out with a high hand, before the eyes of all the Egyptians --

Sie zogen aus von Raemses am fünfzehnten Tag des ersten Monats, dem zweiten Tage der Ostern, durch eine hohe Hand, daß es alle Ägypter sahen,

4 a nd the Egyptians are burying those whom Jehovah hath smitten among them, every first-born, and on their gods hath Jehovah done judgments --

als sie eben die Erstgeburt begruben, die der HERR unter ihnen geschlagen hatte; denn der HERR hatte auch an ihren Göttern Gericht geübt.

5 a nd the sons of Israel journey from Rameses, and encamp in Succoth.

Als sie nun von Raemses auszogen, lagerten sie sich in Sukkoth.

6 A nd they journey from Succoth, and encamp in Etham, which in the extremity of the wilderness;

Und zogen aus von Sukkoth und lagerten sich in Etham, welches liegt an dem Ende der Wüste.

7 a nd they journey from Etham, and turn back on Pi-Hahiroth, which on the front of Baal-Zephon, and they encamp before Migdol.

Von Etham zogen sie aus und blieben in Pihachiroth, welches liegt gegen Baal-Zephon, und lagerten sich gegen Migdol.

8 A nd they journey from Pi-Hahiroth, and pass over through the midst of the sea, into the wilderness, and go a journey of three days in the wilderness of Etham, and encamp in Marah.

Von Hachiroth zogen sie aus und gingen mitten durchs Meer in die Wüste und reisten drei Tagereisen in der Wüste Etham und lagerten sich in Mara.

9 A nd they journey from Marah, and come in to Elim, and in Elim twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees, and they encamp there;

Von Mara zogen sie aus und kamen gen Elim; da waren zwölf Wasserbrunnen und siebzig Palmen; und lagerten sich daselbst.

10 a nd they journey from Elim, and encamp by the Red Sea.

Von Elim zogen sie aus und lagerten sich an das Schilfmeer.

11 A nd they journey from the Red Sea, and encamp in the wilderness of Sin;

Von dem Schilfmeer zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in der Wüste Sin.

12 a nd they journey from the wilderness of Sin, and encamp in Dophkah.

Von der Wüste Sin zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Dophka.

13 A nd they journey from Dophkah, and encamp in Alush;

Von Dophka zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Alus.

14 a nd they journey from Alush, and encamp in Rephidim; and there was there no water for the people to drink.

Von Alus zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Raphidim, daselbst hatte das Volk kein Wasser zu trinken.

15 A nd they journey from Rephidim, and encamp in the wilderness of Sinai;

16 a nd they journey from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamp in Kibroth-Hattaavah.

Von Sinai zogen sie aus und lagerten sich bei den Lustgräbern.

17 A nd they journey from Kibroth-Hattaavah, and encamp in Hazeroth;

Von den Lustgräbern zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Hazeroth.

18 a nd they journey from Hazeroth, and encamp in Rithmah.

19 A nd they journey from Rithmah, and encamp in Rimmon-Parez;

20 a nd they journey from Rimmon-Parez, and encamp in Libnah.

21 A nd they journey from Libnah, and encamp in Rissah;

23 A nd they journey from Kehelathah, and encamp in mount Shapher;

Von Kehelatha zogen sie aus und lagerten sich im Gebirge Sepher.

24 a nd they journey from mount Shapher, and encamp in Haradah.

Vom Gebirge Sepher zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Harada.

25 A nd they journey from Haradah, and encamp in Makheloth;

33 A nd they journey from Hor-Hagidgad, and encamp in Jotbathah;

34 a nd they journey from Jotbathah, and encamp in Ebronah.

Von Jotbatha zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Abrona.

35 A nd they journey from Ebronah, and encamp in Ezion-Gaber;

Von Abrona zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Ezeon-Geber.

36 a nd they journey from Ezion-Gaber, and encamp in the wilderness of Zin, which Kadesh.

Von Ezeon-Geber zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in der Wüste Zin, das ist Kades.

37 A nd they journey from Kadesh, and encamp in mount Hor, in the extremity of the land of Edom.

Von Kades zogen sie aus und lagerten sich an dem Berge Hor, an der Grenze des Landes Edom.

38 A nd Aaron the priest goeth up unto mount Hor, by the command of Jehovah, and dieth there, in the fortieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month;

Da ging der Priester Aaron auf den Berg Hor nach dem Befehl des HERRN und starb daselbst im vierzigsten Jahr des Auszugs der Kinder Israel aus Ägyptenland am ersten Tage des fünften Monats,

39 a nd Aaron a son of a hundred and twenty and three years in his dying in mount Hor.

da er hundertunddreiundzwanzig Jahre alt war.

40 A nd the Canaanite -- king Arad -- who is dwelling in the south, in the land of Canaan, heareth of the coming of the sons of Israel.

Und der König der Kanaaniter zu Arad, der da wohnte gegen Mittag des Landes Kanaan, hörte, daß die Kinder Israel kamen.

41 A nd they journey from mount Hor, and encamp in Zalmonah;

Und von dem Berge Hor zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Zalmona.

42 a nd they journey from Zalmonah, and encamp in Punon.

Von Zalmona zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Phunon.

43 A nd they journey from Punon, and encamp in Oboth;

Von Phunon zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Oboth.

44 a nd they journey from Oboth, and encamp in Ije-Abarim, in the border of Moab.

Von Oboth zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Ije-Abarim, in der Moabiter Gebiet.

45 A nd they journey from Iim, and encamp in Dibon-Gad;

Von Ijim zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Dibon-Gad.

46 a nd they journey from Dibon-Gad, and encamp in Almon-Diblathaim.

Von Dibon-Gad zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in Almon-Diblathaim.

47 A nd they journey from Almon-Diblathaim, and encamp in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo;

Von Almon-Diblathaim zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in dem Gebirge Abarim vor dem Nebo.

48 a nd they journey from the mountains of Abarim, and encamp in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, Jericho.

Von dem Gebirge Abarim zogen sie aus und lagerten sich in das Gefilde der Moabiter an dem Jordan gegenüber Jericho.

49 A nd they encamp by the Jordan from Beth-Jeshimoth, unto Abel-Shittim, in the plains of Moab.

Sie lagerten sich aber am Jordan von Beth-Jesimoth an bis an Abel-Sittim, im Gefilde der Moabiter.

50 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, Jericho, saying,

Und der HERR redete mit Mose in dem Gefilde der Moabiter an dem Jordan gegenüber Jericho und sprach:

51 ` Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye are passing over the Jordan unto the land of Canaan,

Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich zu ihnen: Wenn ihr über den Jordan gegangen seid in das Land Kanaan,

52 t hen ye have dispossessed all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and have destroyed all their imagery, yea, all their molten images ye destroy, and all their high places ye lay waste,

so sollt ihr alle Einwohner vertreiben vor eurem Angesicht und alle ihre Säulen und alle ihre gegossenen Bilder zerstören und alle ihre Höhen vertilgen,

53 a nd ye have possessed the land, and dwelt in it, for to you I have given the land -- to possess it.

daß ihr also das Land einnehmet und darin wohnet; denn euch habe ich das Land gegeben, daß ihr's einnehmet.

54 ` And ye have inherited the land by lot, by your families; to the many ye increase their inheritance, and to the few ye diminish their inheritance; whither the lot goeth out to him, it is his; by the tribes of your fathers ye inherit.

Und sollt das Land austeilen durchs Los unter eure Geschlechter. Denen, deren viele sind, sollt ihr desto mehr zuteilen, und denen, deren wenige sind, sollt ihr desto weniger zuteilen. Wie das Los einem jeglichen daselbst fällt, so soll er's haben; nach den Stämmen eurer Väter sollt ihr's austeilen.

55 ` And if ye do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it hath been, those whom ye let remain of them, for pricks in your eyes, and for thorns in your sides, and they have distressed you on the land in which ye are dwelling,

Werdet ihr aber die Einwohner des Landes nicht vertreiben vor eurem Angesicht, so werden euch die, so ihr überbleiben laßt, zu Dornen werden in euren Augen und zu Stacheln in euren Seiten und werden euch drängen in dem Lande darin ihr wohnet.

56 a nd it hath come to pass, as I thought to do to them -- I do to you.'

So wird's dann gehen, daß ich euch gleich tun werde, wie ich gedachte ihnen zu tun.
