1 A nd there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

Было ко мне слово Господа:

2 ` Son of man, set thy face unto Gog, of the land of Magog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,

– Сын человеческий, обрати лицо к Гогу в земле Магог, верховному правителю Мешеха и Тувала. Пророчествуй против него

3 a nd thou hast said: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I against thee, O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal,

и скажи: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: Я – твой враг, о Гог, верховный правитель Мешеха и Тувала.

4 A nd I have turned thee back, And I have put hooks in thy jaws, And have brought thee out, and all thy force, Horses and horsemen, Clothed in perfection all of them, A numerous assembly, buckler and shield, Handling swords -- all of them.

Я поверну тебя обратно, продену в твои челюсти крюки, и выведу тебя и твою рать: коней, всадников во всеоружии и огромное полчище с большими и малыми щитами – всех, владеющих мечом,

5 P ersia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them shield and helmet.

а с ними Персию, Куш и Ливию, всех со щитами и в шлемах, –

6 G omer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah of the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with thee,

Гомера с его воинами, и Бет-Тогарму с окраин севера с ее воинами – многие народы с тобою.

7 B e prepared, yea, prepare for thee, Thou and all thine assemblies who are assembled unto thee, And thou hast been to them for a guard.

Готовься и снаряжайся, ты сам и все полчища, которые собрались к тебе. Встань во главе их.

8 A fter many days thou art appointed, In the latter end of the years thou comest in unto a land brought back from sword, gathered out of many peoples, Upon mountains of Israel, That have been for a perpetual waste, And it from the peoples hath been brought out, And dwelt safely have all of them.

Спустя много дней тебя позовут действовать. В будущие годы ты вторгнешься в страну, которая оправилась после войны, чей народ был собран от многих народов к горам Израиля, которая долго находилась в запустении. Ее обитатели были уведены от других народов и теперь живут в безопасности.

9 A nd thou hast gone up -- as wasting thou comest in, As a cloud to cover the land art thou, Thou and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.

Ты со своими воинами и многими народами поднимешься и придешь, словно смерч; ты будешь, как туча, что закрывает землю.

10 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: And it hath come to pass in that day, Come up do things on thy heart, And thou hast thought an evil thought,

Так говорит Владыка Господь: «В тот день к тебе придут плохие мысли, и ты задумаешь коварный план.

11 A nd thou hast said: I go up against a land of unwalled villages, I go in to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And bar and doors they have not.

Ты скажешь: “Пойду на край неогражденных селений. Нападу на мирный народ, который живет безопасно: они живут без стен, нет у них ни засовов, ни ворот.

12 T o take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back thy hand on inhabited wastes, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making cattle and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.

Буду грабить и расхищать; обращу руку против заселенных развалин и против людей, собранных из чужих народов, что богаты скотом и добром и живут посреди земли”.

13 S heba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to thee: To take a spoil art thou come in? To take a prey assembled thine assembly? To bear away silver and gold? To take away cattle and substance? To take a great spoil?

Шева и Дедан, купцы и все торговцы Таршиша скажут тебе: “Ты пришел грабить? Ты собрал полчища, чтобы расхищать, уносить золото и серебро, отнимать скот и добро, и взять богатую добычу?”»

14 T herefore, prophesy, son of man, and thou hast said to Gog: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Dost thou not know?

Поэтому, сын человеческий, пророчествуй и скажи Гогу: «Так говорит Владыка Господь: В день, когда Мой народ, Израиль, будет жить в безопасности, разве ты об этом не узнаешь?

15 A nd thou hast come in out of thy place, From the sides of the north, Thou and many peoples with thee, Riding on horses -- all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.

Ты выйдешь из своих мест, что на окраине севера, ты сам и многие народы с тобой, все они ездят на конях, огромное полчище, могучая рать.

16 A nd thou hast come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, In the latter end of the days it is, And I have brought thee in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in thee before their eyes, O Gog.

Ты двинешься на Мой народ, Израиль, как туча, что закрывает землю. В будущие дни, Гог, Я пошлю тебя на Мою землю, чтобы народы познали Меня, когда Я явлю через тебя у них на глазах Мою святость».

17 T hus said the Lord Jehovah: Art thou he of whom I spake in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who are prophesying in those days -- years, To bring thee in against them?

«Так говорит Владыка Господь: Разве не о тебе Я издревле говорил через Моих слуг, пророков Израиля? Они годами пророчествовали в те времена о том, что Я нашлю тебя на них.

18 A nd it hath come to pass, in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Come up doth My fury in My face,

Вот что случится в этот день: когда Гог нападет на Израиль, Мой пылающий гнев вспыхнет, – возвещает Владыка Господь. –

19 A nd in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not in that day a great rushing on the land of Israel?

В ревности и пылающем гневе Своем Я возвещаю: в это время в земле Израиля произойдет страшное землетрясение.

20 A nd rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who on the face of the ground, And thrown down have been the mountains, And fallen have the ascents, And every wall to the earth falleth.

Рыбы в морях, птицы в небе, звери в лесу, всякое пресмыкающееся, что ползает по земле, и все люди на лице земли затрепещут предо Мной. Горы рухнут, скалы низвергнутся, и всякая стена повалится на землю.

21 A nd I have called against him, to all My mountains a sword, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, The sword of each is against his brother.

Я призову меч сражаться против Гога на всех Моих горах, – возвещает Владыка Господь. – Каждый его воин обнажит меч на соратника.

22 A nd I have been judged with him, With pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, Fire and brimstone I rain on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who with him.

Я покараю его мором и кровопролитием. Я обрушу на него, на его воинства и многие народы неистовый ливень, град и горящую серу.

23 A nd I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I Jehovah!

Я явлю Свое величие и святость и откроюсь многим народам. Тогда они узнают, что Я – Господь».
