1 ` For the reign of the heavens is like to a man, a householder, who went forth with the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard,

– Небесное Царство подобно хозяину, который рано утром вышел нанять людей на работу в своем винограднике.

2 a nd having agreed with the workmen for a denary a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

Он договорился с ними, что заплатит им по динарию за день работы, и послал их в свой виноградник.

3 ` And having gone forth about the third hour, he saw others standing in the market-place idle,

В третьем часу он опять вышел и увидел, что на площади еще стоят люди без работы.

4 a nd to these he said, Go ye -- also ye -- to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous I will give you;

Он говорит им: «Идите и вы работать в мой виноградник, и я заплачу вам по справедливости».

5 a nd they went away. `Again, having gone forth about the sixth and the ninth hour, he did in like manner.

Те пошли. В шестом и в девятом часу он опять выходил и делал то же самое.

6 A nd about the eleventh hour, having gone forth, he found others standing idle, and saith to them, Why here have ye stood all the day idle?

Потом он вышел в одиннадцатом часу и вновь нашел стоящих людей. «Что вы тут стоите весь день без дела?» – спросил он их.

7 t hey say to him, Because no one did hire us; he saith to them, Go ye -- ye also -- to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous ye shall receive.

«Никто нас не нанял», – ответили те. «Идите и вы работать в мой виноградник», – говорит им хозяин.

8 ` And evening having come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his steward, Call the workmen, and pay them the reward, having begun from the last -- unto the first.

Когда наступил вечер, хозяин сказал своему управляющему: «Позови всех работников и выдай им плату. Начни с тех, которые были наняты последними, и в конце рассчитайся с теми, кто нанят утром».

9 A nd they of about the eleventh hour having come, did receive each a denary.

Работники, которых наняли в одиннадцатом часу, пришли, и каждый из них получил по динарию.

10 ` And the first having come, did suppose that they shall receive more, and they received, they also, each a denary,

Когда подошла очередь работников, нанятых первыми, они ожидали, что получат больше, но каждый из них тоже получил по одному динарию.

11 a nd having received, they were murmuring against the householder, saying,

Когда с ними расплатились, они стали роптать на хозяина:

12 t hat These, the last, wrought one hour, and thou didst make them equal to us, who were bearing the burden of the day -- and the heat.

«Те, кого ты нанял последними, работали всего один час, и ты заплатил им столько же, сколько и нам, а мы трудились в такую жару весь день!»

13 ` And he answering said to one of them, Comrade, I do no unrighteousness to thee; for a denary didst not thou agree with me?

Хозяин ответил одному из них: «Друг, я же не обманываю тебя. Разве ты не согласился работать за один динарий?

14 t ake that which is thine, and go; and I will to give to this, the last, also as to thee;

Так возьми свою плату и иди. А я хочу заплатить тем, кого я нанял последними, столько же, сколько и тебе.

15 i s it not lawful to me to do what I will in mine own? is thine eye evil because I am good?

Не вправе ли я распоряжаться своими деньгами так, как хочу? Или, может, моя щедрость вызывает в тебе зависть?»

16 S o the last shall be first, and the first last, for many are called, and few chosen.'

Так вот, последние будут первыми, и первые – последними. Иисус в третий раз говорит о Своей смерти и воскресении (Мк. 10: 32-34; Лк. 18: 31-33)

17 A nd Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples by themselves in the way, and said to them,

По дороге в Иерусалим Иисус отвел двенадцать учеников в сторону и сказал им:

18 ` Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man shall be delivered to the chief priests and scribes,

– Вот, мы идем в Иерусалим, там Сын Человеческий будет предан священникам и учителям Закона. Они приговорят Его к смерти

19 a nd they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the nations to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify, and the third day he will rise again.'

и отдадут язычникам на глумление, бичевание и распятие. Но на третий день Он воскреснет. Не господствуйте, но служите (Мк. 10: 35-45; Лк. 22: 24-27)

20 T hen came near to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with her sons, bowing and asking something from him,

Потом к Иисусу подошла мать сыновей Зеведея вместе с сыновьями. Кланяясь, она обратилась к Нему с просьбой.

21 a nd he said to her, `What wilt thou?' She saith to him, `Say, that they may sit -- these my two sons -- one on thy right hand, and one on the left, in thy reign.'

– Что ты хочешь? – спросил Он ее. Она сказала: – Вели, чтобы оба мои сына сели один по правую, а другой по левую руку от Тебя в Твоем Царстве.

22 A nd Jesus answering said, `Ye have not known what ye ask for yourselves; are ye able to drink of the cup that I am about to drink? and with the baptism that I am baptized with, to be baptized?' They say to him, `We are able.'

– Вы не знаете, о чем просите, – ответил Иисус. – Можете ли пить чашу, которую Я буду пить, или креститься крещением, которым Я крещусь? – Можем, – ответили они.

23 A nd he saith to them, `Of my cup indeed ye shall drink, and with the baptism that I am baptized with ye shall be baptized; but to sit on my right hand and on my left is not mine to give, but -- to those for whom it hath been prepared by my father.'

Иисус сказал им: – Пить из Моей чаши вы будете, и крещением, которым Я крещусь, будете креститься, но кому сидеть по правую, а кому по левую руку от Меня, решаю не Я, эти места принадлежат тем, кому они назначены Моим Отцом.

24 A nd the ten having heard, were much displeased with the two brothers,

Когда остальные десять учеников услышали это, они рассердились на братьев.

25 a nd Jesus having called them near, said, `Ye have known that the rulers of the nations do exercise lordship over them, and those great do exercise authority over them,

Иисус же подозвал их и сказал: – Вы знаете, что языческие правители господствуют над своими народами, и владеет людьми их знать.

26 b ut not so shall it be among you, but whoever may will among you to become great, let him be your ministrant;

У вас пусть будет не так. Наоборот, кто хочет стать среди вас самым великим, должен быть вам слугой,

27 a nd whoever may will among you to be first, let him be your servant;

и кто хочет быть среди вас первым, должен быть вам слугой.

28 e ven as the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.'

Ведь и Сын Человеческий пришел не для того, чтобы Ему служили, но чтобы служить другим и отдать Свою жизнь как выкуп за многих. Исцеление двух слепых (Мк. 10: 46-52; Лк. 18: 35-43)

29 A nd they going forth from Jericho, there followed him a great multitude,

Когда Иисус и ученики покидали Иерихон, за ними следовало множество людей.

30 a nd lo, two blind men sitting by the way, having heard that Jesus doth pass by, cried, saying, `Deal kindly with us, sir -- Son of David.'

У дороги сидели двое слепых, которые, услышав, что мимо идет Иисус, стали кричать: – Господи, Сын Давидов, сжалься над нами!

31 A nd the multitude charged them that they might be silent, and they cried out the more, saying, `Deal kindly with us sir -- Son of David.'

Люди стали говорить им, чтобы они замолчали, но те кричали еще громче: – Господи, Сын Давидов, сжалься над нами!

32 A nd having stood, Jesus called them, and said, `What will ye I may do to you?'

Иисус остановился и позвал их. – Что вы хотите, чтобы Я сделал для вас? – спросил Он.

33 t hey say to him, `Sir, that our eyes may be opened;'

– Господи, хотим прозреть, – ответили те.

34 a nd having been moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes, and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

Иисусу стало их жаль, и Он прикоснулся к их глазам. Слепые сразу же обрели зрение и пошли за Ним.
