5 A nd Thou, Jehovah, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Favour not any treacherous dealers of iniquity. Selah.

О Господь, Бог Сил, Бог Израиля, поднимись, накажи народы; не щади коварных предателей! Пауза

6 T hey turn back at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go round about the city.

Они возвращаются вечером, воют, как псы, и по городу кружат.

7 L o, they belch out with their mouths, Swords in their lips, for `Who heareth?'

Изрыгают хулу; мечи у них на губах. Они думают: «Кто услышит?»

8 A nd Thou, O Jehovah dost laugh at them, Thou dost mock at all the nations.

Ты посмеешься над ними, Господи; все народы поднимаешь на смех.

9 O my Strength, unto Thee I take heed, For God my tower -- the God of my kindness.

Сила моя, я на Тебя надеюсь; Боже, Ты – моя крепость.

10 G od doth go before me, He causeth me to look on mine enemies.

Ты – милующий меня Бог! Мой Бог пойдет предо мною; Бог даст мне победно смотреть на моих врагов.

11 S lay them not, lest my people forget, Shake them by Thy strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.

Не убивай их, а то народ мой забудет. Мощью Своей рассей их и низложи, Владыка, наш щит.

12 T he sin of their mouth a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And from the curse and lying they recount.

За грехи их уст, за слова их губ да будут гордыней своей пойманы. За проклятия их и ложь

13 C onsume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah.

погуби их в гневе, погуби, чтобы их больше не было. Так станет известно до края земли, что Бог – повелитель Иакова. Пауза

16 A nd I -- I sing Thy strength, And I sing at morn Thy kindness, For thou hast been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.

А я буду воспевать силу Твою и утром восхвалять милость Твою. Ведь Ты – моя крепость и прибежище в день беды.

17 O my Strength, unto Thee I sing praise, For God my tower, the God of my kindness!

Ты – сила моя; Тебе буду петь я хвалу! Боже, Ты – моя крепость, Ты – милующий меня Бог!
