porque están acechando mi vida; se han juntado contra mí poderosos, no por falta mía, ni pecado mío, Jehová;

4 W ithout punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.

sin delito mío corren y se preparan. Despierta para venir a mi encuentro, y mira.

5 A nd Thou, Jehovah, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Favour not any treacherous dealers of iniquity. Selah.

Y tú, Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta y castiga a todas las naciones; no tengas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con maldad. Selah

6 T hey turn back at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go round about the city.

Volverán a la tarde, ladrarán como perros y rodearán la ciudad.

7 L o, they belch out with their mouths, Swords in their lips, for `Who heareth?'

Declaran con su boca; espadas hay en sus labios, pues dicen: «¿Quién oye?»

8 A nd Thou, O Jehovah dost laugh at them, Thou dost mock at all the nations.

Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos; te burlarás de todas las naciones.

9 O my Strength, unto Thee I take heed, For God my tower -- the God of my kindness.

A causa del poder del enemigo esperaré en ti, porque Dios es mi defensa.

10 G od doth go before me, He causeth me to look on mine enemies.

El Dios de mi misericordia irá delante de mí; Dios hará que vea en mis enemigos mi deseo.

11 S lay them not, lest my people forget, Shake them by Thy strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.

No los mates, para que mi pueblo no olvide; dispérsalos con tu poder y abátelos, Jehová, escudo nuestro.

12 T he sin of their mouth a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And from the curse and lying they recount.

Por el pecado de su boca, por la palabra de sus labios, sean ellos presos en su soberbia, y por la maldición y mentira que profieren.

13 C onsume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah.

¡Acábalos con furor, acábalos, para que no existan más! ¡Sépase que Dios gobierna en Jacob hasta los confines de la tierra! Selah

14 A nd they turn back at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go round about the city.

Anden ellos errantes para hallar qué comer; y al no saciarse, que pasen la noche quejándose.

16 A nd I -- I sing Thy strength, And I sing at morn Thy kindness, For thou hast been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.

Pero yo cantaré de tu poder, alabaré de mañana tu misericordia, porque has sido mi amparo y refugio en el día de mi angustia.

17 O my Strength, unto Thee I sing praise, For God my tower, the God of my kindness!

Fortaleza mía, a ti cantaré, porque eres, Dios, mi refugio, el Dios de mi misericordia.
