1 A nd I saw upon the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne a scroll, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals;

Vi en la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono un libro escrito por dentro y por fuera, sellado con siete sellos.

2 a nd I saw a strong messenger crying with a great voice, `Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals of it?'

Y vi un ángel poderoso que pregonaba a gran voz: «¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos?»

3 a nd no one was able in the heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, to open the scroll, nor to behold it.

Pero ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro, ni siquiera mirarlo.

4 A nd I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, nor to behold it,

Y lloraba yo mucho, porque no se hallaba a nadie que fuera digno de abrir el libro, ni siquiera de mirarlo.

5 a nd one of the elders saith to me, `Weep not; lo, overcome did the Lion, who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals of it;

Entonces uno de los ancianos me dijo: «No llores, porque el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos.»

6 a nd I saw, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb hath stood as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God, which are sent to all the earth,

Miré, y vi que en medio del trono y de los cuatro seres vivientes y en medio de los ancianos estaba en pie un Cordero como inmolado, que tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, los cuales son los siete espíritus de Dios enviados por toda la tierra.

7 a nd he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne.

Él vino y tomó el libro de la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono.

8 A nd when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints,

Cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero. Todos tenían arpas y copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones de los santos.

9 a nd they sing a new song, saying, `Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because thou wast slain, and didst redeem us to God in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,

Y cantaban un cántico nuevo, diciendo: «Digno eres de tomar el libro y de abrir sus sellos, porque tú fuiste inmolado, y con tu sangre nos has redimido para Dios, de todo linaje, lengua, pueblo y nación;

10 a nd didst make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.'

nos has hecho para nuestro Dios un reino y sacerdotes, y reinaremos sobre la tierra.»

11 A nd I saw, and I heard the voice of many messengers round the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders -- and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands --

Miré, y oí la voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono, de los seres vivientes y de los ancianos. Su número era millones de millones,

12 s aying with a great voice, `Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!'

y decían a gran voz: «El Cordero que fue inmolado es digno de tomar el poder, las riquezas, la sabiduría, la fortaleza, la honra, la gloria y la alabanza.»

13 a nd every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, `To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might -- to the ages of the ages!'

A todo lo creado que está en el cielo, sobre la tierra, debajo de la tierra y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que hay en ellos, oí decir: «Al que está sentado en el trono y al Cordero, sea la alabanza, la honra, la gloria y el poder, por los siglos de los siglos.»

14 a nd the four living creatures said, `Amen!' and the twenty-four elders fell down and they bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages.

Los cuatro seres vivientes decían: «¡Amén!» Y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron sobre sus rostros y adoraron al que vive por los siglos de los siglos.
