1 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Aaron, saying,

Habló Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo:

2 ` When a man hath in the skin of his flesh a rising, or scab, or bright spot, and it hath become in the skin of his flesh a leprous plague, then he hath been brought in unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests;

«Cuando el hombre tenga en la piel de su cuerpo una hinchazón o una erupción o una mancha blanca, y haya en la piel de su cuerpo como una llaga de lepra, será llevado a Aarón, el sacerdote, o a uno de sus hijos, los sacerdotes.

3 a nd the priest hath seen the plague in the skin of the flesh, and the hair in the plague hath turned white, and the appearance of the plague deeper than the skin of his flesh -- it a plague of leprosy, and the priest hath seen him, and hath pronounced him unclean.

El sacerdote mirará la llaga en la piel del cuerpo; si el vello en la llaga se ha vuelto blanco y se ve la llaga más profunda que la piel de la carne, llaga de lepra es. El sacerdote lo reconocerá y lo declarará impuro.

4 ` And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair hath not turned white, then hath the priest shut up the plague seven days.

»Si en la piel de su cuerpo hay una mancha blanca, pero no se ve más profunda que la piel ni el vello se ha vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote encerrará al llagado durante siete días.

5 ` And the priest hath seen him on the seventh day, and lo, the plague hath stood in his eyes, the plague hath not spread in the skin, and the priest hath shut him up a second seven days.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la llaga conserva el mismo aspecto y no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo volverá a encerrar por otros siete días.

6 ` And the priest hath seen him on the second seventh day, and lo, the plague is become weak, and the plague hath not spread in the skin -- and the priest hath pronounced him clean, it a scab, and he hath washed his garments, and hath been clean.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo reconocerá de nuevo; si ve que se ha oscurecido la llaga, y que no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará limpio: era una erupción. Lavará sus vestidos y quedará limpio.

7 ` And if the scab spread greatly in the skin, after his being seen by the priest for his cleansing, then he hath been seen a second time by the priest;

»Pero si se extiende la erupción en la piel después que él se mostró al sacerdote para ser limpio, deberá mostrarse otra vez al sacerdote.

8 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, the scab hath spread in the skin, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it leprosy.

El sacerdote lo reconocerá, y si ve que la erupción se ha extendido en la piel, lo declarará impuro: es lepra.

9 ` When a plague of leprosy is in a man, then he hath been brought in unto the priest,

»Cuando haya llaga de lepra en el hombre, será llevado al sacerdote.

10 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, a white rising in the skin, and it hath turned the hair white, and a quickening of raw flesh in the rising, --

Si al examinarlo el sacerdote observa un tumor blanco en la piel, el cual ha hecho que el vello mude de color, y también se descubre la carne viva,

11 a n old leprosy it in the skin of his flesh, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; he doth not shut him up, for he unclean.

es lepra crónica en la piel de su cuerpo. El sacerdote lo declarará impuro, aunque no lo encerrará, porque ya es impuro.

12 ` And if the leprosy break out greatly in the skin, and the leprosy hath covered all the skin of the plague, from his head even unto his feet, to all that appeareth to the eyes of the priest,

»Pero si la lepra brota y se extiende por la piel, de modo que cubre toda la piel del llagado desde la cabeza hasta los pies, hasta donde pueda ver el sacerdote,

13 t hen hath the priest seen, and lo, the leprosy hath covered all his flesh, and he hath pronounced the plague clean; it hath all turned white; he clean.

entonces éste lo reconocerá. Si la lepra ha cubierto todo su cuerpo, declarará limpio al llagado; toda ella se ha vuelto blanca, y él es limpio.

14 ` And in the day of raw flesh being seen in him he is unclean;

Pero el día que aparezca en él la carne viva, quedará impuro.

15 a nd the priest hath seen the raw flesh, and hath pronounced him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean, it leprosy.

El sacerdote examinará la carne viva y lo declarará impuro, pues la carne viva es impura: es lepra.

16 O r when the raw flesh turneth back, and hath been turned to white, then he hath come in unto the priest,

»Pero cuando la carne viva cambie y se vuelva blanca, entonces irá al sacerdote,

17 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the plague hath been turned to white, and the priest hath pronounced clean the plague; he clean.

y el sacerdote lo examinará. Si la llaga se ha vuelto blanca, el sacerdote declarará limpio al que tenía la llaga, y quedará limpio.

18 ` And when flesh hath in it, in its skin, an ulcer, and it hath been healed,

»Cuando una persona tenga en su piel una llaga, que luego sana,

19 a nd there hath been in the place of the ulcer a white rising, or a bright white spot, very red, then it hath been seen by the priest,

pero en el lugar de la llaga aparece una hinchazón o una mancha blanca rojiza, será mostrado al sacerdote.

20 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, its appearance lower than the skin, and its hair hath turned white, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a plague of leprosy -- in an ulcer it hath broken out.

El sacerdote lo examinará; si ve que está más profunda que la piel, y que su vello se ha vuelto blanco, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro: es lepra que brota de la llaga.

21 ` And if the priest see it, and lo, there is no white hair in it, and it is not lower than the skin, and is become weak, then hath the priest shut him up seven days;

Pero si el sacerdote la examina y no ve en ella vello blanco, ni que es más profunda que la piel, sino oscura, entonces el sacerdote lo encerrará por siete días.

22 a nd if it spread greatly in the skin, then hath the priest pronounced him unclean, it a plague;

Si se ha extendido por la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará impuro: es una llaga.

23 a nd if in its place the bright spot stay -- it hath not spread -- it an inflammation of the ulcer; and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

Pero si la mancha blanca permanece en su lugar y no se ha extendido, es la cicatriz de la llaga, y el sacerdote lo declarará limpio.

24 ` Or when flesh hath in its skin a fiery burning, and the quickening of the burning, the bright white spot, hath been very red or white,

»Asimismo cuando haya en la piel del cuerpo una quemadura de fuego, y aparezca en la parte quemada una mancha blanquecina, rojiza o blanca,

25 a nd the priest hath seen it, and lo, the hair hath turned white in the bright spot, and its appearance deeper than the skin; leprosy it, in the burning it hath broken out, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a plague of leprosy.

el sacerdote la examinará. Si el vello se ha vuelto blanco en la mancha, y ésta es más profunda que la piel, es lepra que salió en la quemadura. El sacerdote lo declarará impuro por ser llaga de lepra.

26 ` And if the priest see it, and lo, there is no white hair on the bright spot, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is become weak, then the priest hath shut him up seven days;

Pero si el sacerdote la examina y no hay en la mancha vello blanco, ni es más profunda que la piel, sino que es oscura, lo encerrará el sacerdote por siete días.

27 a nd the priest hath seen him on the seventh day, if it spread greatly in the skin, then the priest hath pronounced him unclean; a plague of leprosy it.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote la reconocerá; y si se ha ido extendiendo por la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará impuro: es llaga de lepra.

28 ` And if the bright spot stay in its place, it hath not spread in the skin, and is become weak; a rising of the burning it, and the priest hath pronounced him clean; for it inflammation of the burning.

Pero si la mancha permanece en su lugar y no se ha extendido en la piel, sino que es oscura, se trata de la cicatriz de la quemadura. El sacerdote lo declarará limpio, porque señal de la quemadura es.

29 ` And when a man (or a woman) hath in him a plague in the head or in the beard,

»Cuando a un hombre o a una mujer le salga una llaga en la cabeza, o en la barba,

30 t hen hath the priest seen the plague, and lo, its appearance is deeper than the skin, and in it a thin shining hair, and the priest hath pronounced him unclean; it a scall -- it a leprosy of the head or of the beard.

el sacerdote examinará la llaga. Si ve que es más profunda que la piel y que el pelo en ella es amarillento y delgado, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará impuro: es tiña, lepra de la cabeza o de la barba.

31 ` And when the priest seeth the plague of the scall, and lo, its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then hath the priest shut up the plague of the scall seven days.

Pero si, al examinar la llaga de la tiña, el sacerdote ve que no es más profunda que la piel ni hay en ella pelo negro, encerrará por siete días al llagado de la tiña.

32 ` And the priest hath seen the plague on the seventh day, and lo, the scall hath not spread, and a shining hair hath not been in it, and the appearance of the scall is not deeper than the skin,

Al séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la llaga, y si la tiña no se ha extendido ni hay en ella pelo amarillento, ni se ve la tiña más profunda que la piel,

33 t hen he hath shaved himself, but the scall he doth not shave; and the priest hath shut up the scall a second seven days.

entonces hará que se rasure, salvo en el lugar afectado, y el sacerdote encerrará por otros siete días al que tiene la tiña.

34 A nd the priest hath seen the scall on the seventh day, and lo, the scall hath not spread in the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and the priest hath pronounced him clean, and he hath washed his garments, and hath been clean.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote examinará la tiña, y si la tiña no se ha extendido en la piel ni es más profunda que la piel, el sacerdote lo declarará limpio; lavará sus vestidos y quedará limpio.

35 ` And if the scall spread greatly in the skin after his cleansing,

Pero si la tiña se ha ido extendiendo en la piel después de su purificación,

36 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the scall hath spread in the skin, the priest seeketh not for the shining hair, he is unclean;

entonces el sacerdote la examinará, y si la tiña se ha extendido en la piel, no busque el sacerdote el pelo amarillento: es impuro.

37 a nd if in his eyes the scall hath stayed, and black hair hath sprung up in it, the scall hath been healed -- he clean -- and the priest hath pronounced him clean.

Pero si le parece que la tiña está detenida y que ha salido en ella el pelo negro, la tiña está sanada; la persona está limpia, y limpia la declarará el sacerdote.

38 ` And when a man or woman hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, white bright spots,

»Asimismo cuando un hombre o una mujer tenga en la piel de su cuerpo manchas, manchas blancas,

39 a nd the priest hath seen, and lo, in the skin of their flesh white weak bright spots, it a freckled spot broken out in the skin; he clean.

el sacerdote lo examinará, y si en la piel de su cuerpo aparecen manchas blancas algo oscurecidas, es una erupción que brotó en la piel: la persona está limpia.

40 ` And when a man's head polished, he bald, he clean;

»Si a un hombre se le cae el cabello, se queda calvo, pero limpio.

41 a nd if from the corner of his face his head is polished, he bald of the forehead; he clean.

Si se le cae el cabello de la frente, se queda calvo por delante, pero es limpio.

42 ` And when there is in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, a very red white plague, it a leprosy breaking out in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead;

Pero cuando en la calva o en las entradas haya una llaga blanca rojiza, lepra es que brota en su calva o en sus entradas.

43 a nd the priest hath seen him, and lo, the rising of the very red white plague in the bald back of the head, or in the bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy, in the skin of the flesh,

Entonces el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la hinchazón de la llaga blanca rojiza en su calva o en sus entradas se parece a la de la lepra de la piel del cuerpo,

44 h e a leprous man, he unclean; the priest doth pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague in his head.

leproso es, es impuro. El sacerdote lo declarará luego impuro; en su cabeza tiene la llaga.

45 ` As to the leper in whom the plague, his garments are rent, and his head is uncovered, and he covereth over the upper lip, and `Unclean! unclean!' he calleth;

»El leproso que tenga llagas llevará vestidos rasgados y su cabeza descubierta, y con el rostro semicubierto gritará: “¡Impuro! ¡Impuro!”

46 a ll the days that the plague in him he is unclean; he unclean, alone he doth dwell, at the outside of the camp his dwelling.

Todo el tiempo que tenga las llagas, será impuro. Estará impuro y habitará solo; fuera del campamento vivirá.

47 ` And when there is in any garment a plague of leprosy, -- in a garment of wool, or in a garment of linen,

»Cuando en un vestido aparezca una mancha de lepra, ya sea vestido de lana o de lino,

48 o r in the warp, or in the woof, of linen or of wool, or in a skin, or in any work of skin,

o en urdimbre o en trama de lino o de lana, o en cuero, o en cualquier objeto de cuero,

49 a nd the plague hath been very green or very red in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin, it a plague of leprosy, and it hath been shewn the priest.

y si la mancha es verdosa o rojiza, en vestido o en cuero, en urdimbre o en trama, o en cualquier objeto de cuero, es mancha de lepra y se ha de mostrar al sacerdote.

50 ` And the priest hath seen the plague, and hath shut up the plague, seven days;

El sacerdote examinará la mancha, y encerrará la cosa manchada durante siete días.

51 a nd he hath seen the plague on the seventh day, and the plague hath spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, of all that is made of skin for work; the plague a fretting leprosy, it unclean.

Al séptimo día examinará la mancha, y si se ha extendido en el vestido, en la urdimbre o en la trama, en el cuero o en cualquier objeto hecho de cuero, la mancha es lepra maligna: el objeto será inmundo.

52 ` And he hath burnt the garment, or the warp, or the woof, in wool or in linen, or any vessel of skin in which the plague is; for it a fretting leprosy; with fire it is burnt.

Será quemado el vestido, la urdimbre o trama de lana o de lino, o cualquier objeto de cuero en que haya tal mancha, porque lepra maligna es: al fuego será quemado.

53 ` And if the priest see, and lo, the plague hath not spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin,

Pero si el sacerdote, al examinarlo, ve que la mancha no se ha extendido en el vestido, en la urdimbre o en la trama, o en cualquier objeto de cuero,

54 t hen hath the priest commanded, and they have washed that in which the plague, and he hath shut it up a second seven days.

entonces el sacerdote mandará que laven donde está la mancha, y lo encerrará otra vez por siete días.

55 A nd the priest hath seen the plague after it hath been washed, and lo, the plague hath not changed its aspect, and the plague hath not spread, -- it unclean; with fire thou dost burn it; it a fretting in its back-part or in its front-part.

»Después que la mancha haya sido lavada, el sacerdote la examinará, y si ve que la mancha no ha cambiado de aspecto, aunque no se haya extendido, el objeto es inmundo y lo quemarás al fuego: es corrosión penetrante, esté lo raído en el derecho o en el revés de aquella cosa.

56 ` And if the priest hath seen, and lo, the plague become weak after it hath been washed, then he hath rent it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof;

Pero si el sacerdote la ve, y parece que la mancha se ha oscurecido después que fue lavada, la cortará del vestido, del cuero, de la urdimbre o de la trama.

57 a nd if it still be seen in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any vessel of skin, it a fretting; with fire thou dost burn it -- that in which the plague.

Si aparece de nuevo en el vestido, la urdimbre o la trama, o en cualquier cosa de cuero, extendiéndose en ellos, quemarás al fuego aquello en que esté la mancha.

58 ` And the garment, or the warp, or the woof, or any vessel of skin which thou dost wash when the plague hath turned aside from them, then it hath been washed a second time, and hath been clean.

Pero el vestido, la urdimbre o la trama, o cualquier cosa de cuero que laves, y que se le quite la mancha, se lavará por segunda vez, y entonces quedará limpia.»

59 ` This the law of a plague of leprosy a garment of wool or of linen, or of the warp or of the woof, or of any vessel of skin, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean.'

Ésta es la ley para la mancha de la lepra en los vestidos de lana o de lino, de urdimbre o de trama, o de cualquier objeto de cuero, para que sean declarados limpios o inmundos.
