1 A Secret Treasure of David. Preserve me, O God, for I did trust in Thee.

Guárdame, Dios, porque en ti he confiado.

2 T hou hast said to Jehovah, `My Lord Thou;' My good not for thine own sake;

Alma mía, dijiste a Jehová: «Tú eres mi Señor; no hay para mí bien fuera de ti.»

3 F or the holy ones who in the land, And the honourable, all my delight in them.

Para los santos que están en la tierra y para los íntegros es toda mi complacencia.

4 M ultiplied are their griefs, have hastened backward; I pour not out their libations of blood, Nor do I take up their names on my lips.

Se multiplicarán los dolores de aquellos que sirven diligentes a otro dios. No ofreceré yo sus libaciones de sangre ni en mis labios tomaré sus nombres.

5 J ehovah the portion of my share, and of my cup, Thou -- Thou dost uphold my lot.

Jehová es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa; tú aseguras mi suerte.

6 L ines have fallen to me in pleasant places, Yea, a beauteous inheritance for me.

Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos y es hermosa la heredad que me ha tocado.

7 I bless Jehovah who hath counselled me; Also the nights my reins instruct me.

Bendeciré a Jehová que me aconseja; aun en las noches me enseña mi conciencia.

8 I did place Jehovah before me continually, Because -- at my right hand I am not moved.

A Jehová he puesto siempre delante de mí; porque está a mi diestra, no seré conmovido.

9 T herefore hath my heart been glad, And my honour doth rejoice, Also my flesh dwelleth confidently:

Se alegró por tanto mi corazón y se gozó mi alma; mi carne también descansará confiadamente,

10 F or Thou dost not leave my soul to Sheol, Nor givest thy saintly one to see corruption.

porque no dejarás mi alma en el seol, ni permitirás que tu santo vea corrupción.

11 T hou causest me to know the path of life; Fulness of joys with Thy presence, Pleasant things by Thy right hand for ever!

Me mostrarás la senda de la vida; en tu presencia hay plenitud de gozo, delicias a tu diestra para siempre.
