1 B y David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I call, My rock, be not silent to me! Lest Thou be silent to me, And I have been compared With those going down to the pit.

A ti clamaré, Jehová. ¡Roca mía, no te desentiendas de mí, no sea que, dejándome tú, llegue a ser semejante a los que descienden al sepulcro!

2 H ear the voice of my supplications, In my crying unto Thee, In my lifting up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Oye la voz de mis ruegos cuando clamo a ti, cuando alzo mis manos hacia tu santo Templo.

3 D raw me not with the wicked, And with workers of iniquity, Speaking peace with their neighbours, And evil in their heart.

No me arrebates juntamente con los malos y con los que hacen iniquidad. Ellos hablan paz con sus prójimos, pero la maldad está en su corazón.

4 G ive to them according to their acting, And according to the evil of their doings. According to the work of their hands give to them. Return their deed to them.

Dales conforme a su obra y conforme a la perversidad de sus hechos. Dales su merecido conforme a la obra de sus manos.

5 F or they attend not to the doing of Jehovah, And unto the work of His hands. He throweth them down, And doth not build them up.

Por cuanto no atendieron a los hechos de Jehová ni a la obra de sus manos, ¡él los derribará y no los edificará!

6 B lessed Jehovah, For He hath heard the voice of my supplications.

¡Bendito sea Jehová, que oyó la voz de mis ruegos!

7 J ehovah my strength, and my shield, In Him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. And my heart exulteth, And with my song I thank Him.

Jehová es mi fortaleza y mi escudo; en él confió mi corazón y fui ayudado, por lo que se gozó mi corazón. Con mi cántico lo alabaré.

8 J ehovah strength to him, Yea, the strength of the salvation of His anointed He.

Jehová es la fortaleza de su pueblo y el refugio salvador de su ungido.

9 S ave Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance, And feed them, and carry them to the age!

Salva a tu pueblo y bendice a tu heredad; pastoréalos y susténtalos para siempre.
