1 B y David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, I call, My rock, be not silent to me! Lest Thou be silent to me, And I have been compared With those going down to the pit.

Salmo de David. A TI clamaré, oh Jehová, Fortaleza mía: no te desentiendas de mí; Porque no sea yo, dejándome tú, Semejante á los que descienden al sepulcro.

2 H ear the voice of my supplications, In my crying unto Thee, In my lifting up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

Oye la voz de mis ruegos cuando clamo á ti, Cuando alzo mis manos hacia el templo de tu santidad.

3 D raw me not with the wicked, And with workers of iniquity, Speaking peace with their neighbours, And evil in their heart.

No me arrebates á una con los malos, Y con los que hacen iniquidad: Los cuales hablan paz con sus prójimos, Y la maldad está en su corazón.

4 G ive to them according to their acting, And according to the evil of their doings. According to the work of their hands give to them. Return their deed to them.

Dales conforme á su obra, y conforme á la malicia de sus hechos: Dales conforme á la obra de sus manos, Dales su paga.

5 F or they attend not to the doing of Jehovah, And unto the work of His hands. He throweth them down, And doth not build them up.

Porque no atendieron á las obras de Jehová, Ni al hecho de sus manos, Derribarálos, y no los edificará.

6 B lessed Jehovah, For He hath heard the voice of my supplications.

Bendito Jehová, Que oyó la voz de mis ruegos.

7 J ehovah my strength, and my shield, In Him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. And my heart exulteth, And with my song I thank Him.

Jehová es mi fortaleza y mi escudo: En él esperó mi corazón, y fuí ayudado; Por lo que se gozó mi corazón, Y con mi canción le alabaré.

8 J ehovah strength to him, Yea, the strength of the salvation of His anointed He.

Jehová es su fuerza, Y la fortaleza de las saludes de su ungido.

9 S ave Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance, And feed them, and carry them to the age!

Salva á tu pueblo, y bendice á tu heredad; Y pastoréalos y ensálzalos para siempre.
