1 A nd taken hold have seven women on one man, In that day, saying, `Our own bread we do eat, And our own raiment we put on, Only, let thy name be called over us, Remove thou our reproach.'

En aquel tiempo, siete mujeres echarán mano de un hombre, diciendo: «Nosotras comeremos de nuestro pan y nos vestiremos de nuestras ropas. Solamente permítenos llevar tu nombre. ¡Quita nuestra deshonra!» Futuro glorioso de Jerusalén

2 I n that day is the Shoot of Jehovah for desire and for honour, And the fruit of the earth For excellence and for beauty to the escaped of Israel.

En aquel tiempo el renuevo de Jehová será para hermosura y gloria, y el fruto del país para grandeza y honra, a los sobrevivientes de Israel.

3 A nd it hath been, he who is left in Zion, And he who is remaining in Jerusalem, `Holy' is said of him, Of every one who is written for life in Jerusalem.

Y acontecerá que el que quede en Sión, el que sea dejado en Jerusalén, será llamado santo: todos los que en Jerusalén estén registrados entre los vivientes

4 I f the Lord hath washed away The filth of daughters of Zion, And the blood of Jerusalem purgeth from her midst, By the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

cuando el Señor lave la inmundicia de las hijas de Sión y limpie a Jerusalén de la sangre derramada en medio de ella, con espíritu de juicio y con espíritu de devastación.

5 T hen hath Jehovah prepared Over every fixed place of Mount Zion, And over her convocations, A cloud by day, and smoke, And the shining of a flaming fire by night, That, over all honour a safe-guard,

Y creará Jehová sobre toda la morada del monte Sión y sobre los lugares de sus asambleas, nube y oscuridad de día, y de noche resplandor de llamas de fuego. Y sobre todo, la gloria del Señor, como un dosel;

6 A nd a covering may be, For a shadow by day from drought, And for a refuge, and for a hiding place, From inundation and from rain!

y habrá un resguardo de sombra contra el calor del día, y un refugio y escondedero contra la tempestad y el aguacero.
