1 A nd as he is going forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, `Teacher, see! what stones! and what buildings!'

Когда Иисус выходил из храма, один из учеников сказал Ему: – Учитель! Посмотри, какие камни! Какие здания!

2 a nd Jesus answering said to him, `Seest thou these great buildings? there may not be left a stone upon a stone, that may not be thrown down.'

– Видишь эти величественные здания? – сказал Иисус. – Здесь не останется и камня на камне, все будет разрушено.

3 A nd as he is sitting at the mount of the Olives, over-against the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, were questioning him by himself,

Иисус сидел на Масличной горе напротив храма. Когда рядом больше никого не было, Петр, Иаков, Иоанн и Андрей спросили Его:

4 ` Tell us when these things shall be? and what the sign when all these may be about to be fulfilled?'

– Скажи нам, когда это произойдет и какое знамение укажет на то, что все это скоро исполнится?

5 A nd Jesus answering them, began to say, `Take heed lest any one may lead you astray,

Иисус начал говорить им: – Смотрите, чтобы никто не обманул вас.

6 f or many shall come in my name, saying -- I am, and many they shall lead astray;

Многие будут приходить под Моим Именем, говоря: «Это я», и многих обманут.

7 a nd when ye may hear of wars and reports of wars, be not troubled, for these behove to be, but the end not yet;

Когда вы услышите о войнах, настоящих и грядущих, не бойтесь. Это должно произойти, но это еще не конец.

8 f or nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles; beginnings of sorrows these.

Потому что народ поднимется на народ и царство на царство. В разных местах будут землетрясения и голод, но это лишь начало родовых схваток.

9 ` And take ye heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to sanhedrims, and to synagogues, ye shall be beaten, and before governors and kings ye shall be set for my sake, for a testimony to them;

Будьте бдительны! Вас будут отдавать под суд и избивать в синагогах. Из-за Меня вы будете стоять перед правителями и царями и свидетельствовать им.

10 a nd to all the nations it behoveth first that the good news be proclaimed.

Но прежде Радостная Весть должна быть возвещена всем народам.

11 ` And when they may lead you, delivering up, be not anxious beforehand what ye may speak, nor premeditate, but whatever may be given to you in that hour, that speak ye, for it is not ye who are speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

И когда вас арестуют и поведут на суд, не беспокойтесь заранее о том, что вам сказать. Говорите то, что вам будет дано в тот час, ведь это не вы сами будете говорить, а Святой Дух.

12 ` And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and father child, and children shall rise up against parents, and shall put them to death,

Брат предаст на смерть брата, а отец – своего ребенка. Дети восстанут против родителей и убьют их.

13 a nd ye shall be hated by all because of my name, but he who hath endured to the end -- he shall be saved.

Все будут ненавидеть вас из-за Меня, но тот, кто выстоит до конца, будет спасен.

14 ` And when ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (whoever is reading let him understand), then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains;

Когда же вы увидите «опустошающую мерзость» там, где ее не должно быть, – пусть читающий поймет, – тогда те, кто находится в Иудее, пусть бегут в горы.

15 a nd he upon the house-top, let him not come down to the house, nor come in to take anything out of his house;

Кто окажется на крыше, пусть не спускается и не идет в дом за вещами,

16 a nd he who is in the field, let him not turn to the things behind, to take up his garment.

и кто окажется в поле, пусть не возвращается за своим плащом.

17 ` And wo to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days;

Горе же беременным и кормящим грудью в те дни.

18 a nd pray ye that your flight may not be in winter,

Молитесь, чтобы это не случилось зимой,

19 f or those days shall be tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the creation that God created, till now, and may not be;

потому что в те дни будут такие бедствия, каких еще не было от начала творения мира Богом и доныне, и никогда больше не будет.

20 a nd if the Lord did not shorten the days, no flesh had been saved; but because of the chosen, whom He did choose to Himself, He did shorten the days.

Если бы Господь не сократил эти дни, то не уцелело бы ни одно живое существо, но ради избранных, которых Он Сам избрал, Он сократил эти дни. Иисус говорит о Своем возвращении (Мат. 24: 23-35; Лк. 21: 25-33)

21 ` And then, if any may say to you, Lo, here the Christ, or, Lo, there, ye may not believe;

– И если кто-нибудь вам тогда скажет: «Смотрите! Христос здесь!» или «Смотрите, Он там!» – не верьте.

22 f or there shall rise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall give signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, also the chosen;

Потому что явятся лжехристы и лжепророки и покажут знамения и чудеса, чтобы обмануть, если удастся, и избранных.

23 a nd ye, take heed; lo, I have foretold you all things.

Так что, смотрите! Я предсказал вам все наперед.

24 ` But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Но в те дни, после тех бедствий, «солнце померкнет, и луна не даст света;

25 a nd the stars of the heaven shall be falling, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken.

звезды будут падать с неба, и небесные силы поколеблются».

26 ` And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in clouds with much power and glory,

И тогда люди увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего на облаках с великой силой и славой.

27 a nd then he shall send his messengers, and gather together his chosen from the four winds, from the end of the earth unto the end of heaven.

Он пошлет ангелов и соберет Своих избранных с четырех сторон света, от края земли до края неба.

28 ` And from the fig-tree learn ye the simile: when the branch may already become tender, and may put forth the leaves, ye know that nigh is the summer;

Пусть для вас примером будет инжир: когда почки набухают и выпускают листья, вы знаете, что приближается лето.

29 s o ye, also, when these ye may see coming to pass, ye know that it is nigh, at the doors.

Так и здесь, когда вы увидите, что это сбывается, знайте, что Он уже близко, у самых дверей.

30 V erily I say to you, that this generation may not pass away till all these things may come to pass;

Говорю вам истину: еще не исчезнет это поколение, как все это произойдет.

31 t he heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Небо и земля прейдут, но слова Мои не прейдут. Иисус призывает бодрствовать (Мат. 24: 36-51; Лк. 21: 34-36)

32 ` And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father.

– Но о том дне или часе не знает никто, кроме Отца – ни ангелы на небесах, ни Сын.

33 T ake heed, watch and pray, for ye have not known when the time is;

Смотрите, бодрствуйте: ведь вы не знаете, когда это время наступит.

34 a s a man who is gone abroad, having left his house, and given to his servants the authority, and to each one his work, did command also the porter that he may watch;

Вот с чем можно сравнить это ожидание: человек, отправляясь в далекое путешествие, оставляет свой дом под присмотром слуг и каждому слуге дает особое поручение, а привратнику наказывает бодрствовать.

35 w atch ye, therefore, for ye have not known when the lord of the house doth come, at even, or at midnight, or at cock-crowing, or at the morning;

Так и вы – бодрствуйте! Ведь вы не знаете, когда возвратится хозяин дома: может вечером, а может в полночь, может с пением петухов, а может на рассвете.

36 l est, having come suddenly, he may find you sleeping;

Пусть же он, даже придя внезапно, не застанет вас спящими.

37 a nd what I say to you, I say to all, Watch.'

А то, что Я говорю вам, говорю и всем: бодрствуйте!
