1 A nd it cometh to pass, in the four hundred and eightieth year of the going out of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fourth year -- in the month of Zif, it the second month -- of the reigning of Solomon over Israel, that he buildeth the house for Jehovah.

В четыреста восьмидесятом году после выхода израильтян из Египта, в четвертый год своего правления Израилем, в месяце зив, втором месяце, Соломон начал строить дом Господу.

2 A s to the house that king Solomon hath built for Jehovah, sixty cubits its length, and twenty its breadth, and thirty cubits its height.

Дом, который Соломон построил Господу, был шестьдесят локтей в длину, двадцать в ширину и тридцать в высоту.

3 A s to the porch on the front of the temple of the house, twenty cubits its length on the front of the breadth of the house; ten by the cubit its breadth on the front of the house;

Притвор перед главным помещением дома был двадцать локтей в ширину, соответственно ширине дома, и отходил от дома на десять локтей.

4 a nd he maketh for the house windows of narrow lights.

В доме он сделал окна, расширяющиеся внутрь.

5 A nd he buildeth against the wall of the house a couch round about, the walls of the house round about, of the temple and of the oracle, and maketh sides round about.

Он сделал пристройку вокруг стен дома и внутреннего святилища. В пристройке он сделал комнаты.

6 T he lowest couch, five by the cubit its breadth; and the middle, six by the cubit its breadth; and the third, seven by the cubit its breadth, for withdrawings he hath put to the house round about, without -- not to lay hold on the walls of the house.

Первый этаж был пять локтей в ширину, второй – шесть локтей, и третий – семь локтей. Вокруг дома снаружи он сделал на стене выступы, чтобы поддерживающие брусья не входили в стены дома.

7 A nd the house, in its being built, of perfect stone brought hath been built, and hammer, and the axe -- any instrument of iron -- was not heard in the house, in its being built.

В строительстве дома использовали только те камни, что были обтесаны в каменоломне, и ни молотка, ни тесла, ни какого другого железного орудия не было слышно на месте строительства дома.

8 T he opening of the middle side at the right shoulder of the house, and with windings they go up on the middle one, and from the middle one unto the third.

Вход на первый этаж находился на южной стороне дома. Лестница вела на второй этаж, а оттуда – на третий.

9 A nd he buildeth the house, and completeth it, and covereth the house beams and rows of cedars.

Так он построил дом и завершил его, покрыв его брусьями и кедровыми досками.

10 A nd he buildeth the couch against all the house, five cubits its height, and it taketh hold of the house by cedar-wood.

Вдоль всего дома он построил боковые комнаты. Высотой каждая из них была в пять локтей; они присоединялись к дому кедровыми брусьями.

11 A nd the word of Jehovah is unto Solomon, saying,

И вот, к Соломону было слово Господа:

12 ` This house that thou art building -- if thou dost walk in My statutes, and My judgments dost do, yea, hast done all My commands, to walk in them, then I have established My word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father,

– Что до этого дома, который ты строишь, то если ты будешь следовать Моим установлениям, соблюдать Мои правила и хранить все Мои повеления и выполнять их, Я исполню через тебя обещание, которое Я дал твоему отцу Давиду.

13 a nd have tabernacled in the midst of the sons of Israel, and do not forsake My people Israel.'

Я буду жить среди израильтян и не покину Мой народ, Израиль.

14 A nd Solomon buildeth the house and completeth it;

Соломон построил дом и завершил его. Внутренняя отделка дома Господня (2 Пар. 3: 5-14)

15 a nd he buildeth the walls of the house within with beams of cedar, from the floor of the house unto the walls of the ceiling; he hath overlaid with wood the inside, and covereth the floor of the house with ribs of fir.

Соломон обшил стены с внутренней стороны кедровыми досками, забрав их от пола дома до стропил потолка, и покрыл пол дома кипарисовыми досками.

16 A nd he buildeth the twenty cubits on the sides of the house with ribs of cedar, from the floor unto the walls; and he buildeth for it within, for the oracle, for the holy of holies.

В глубине дома он отгородил кедровыми досками от пола до стропил двадцать локтей, чтобы сделать в доме внутреннее святилище, Святое Святых.

17 A nd forty by the cubit was the house, it the temple before.

Комната перед Святым Святых была длиной в сорок локтей.

18 A nd the cedar for the house within carvings of knobs and openings of flowers; the whole cedar, there is not a stone seen.

Внутри дом был обшит кедровым деревом, на котором были вырезаны подобия тыкв и распустившиеся цветы. Все было сделано из кедра; камня нигде не было видно.

19 A nd the oracle in the midst of the house within he hath prepared, to put there the ark of the covenant of Jehovah.

Он приготовил внутреннее святилище в доме, чтобы поместить там ковчег Господнего завета.

20 A nd before the oracle twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits its height; and he overlayeth it with gold refined, and overlayeth the altar with cedar.

Внутреннее святилище было двадцать локтей в длину, двадцать в ширину и двадцать в высоту. Он покрыл внутренние поверхности чистым золотом и обшил жертвенник, находящийся перед Святым Святых, кедром.

21 A nd Solomon overlayeth the house within with gold refined, and causeth to pass over in chains of gold before the oracle, and overlayeth it with gold.

Соломон покрыл внутренние поверхности дома чистым золотом и перетянул золотыми цепями вход во внутреннее святилище, которое было покрыто золотом.

22 A nd the whole of the house he hath overlaid with gold, till the completion of all the house; and the whole of the altar that the oracle hath, he hath overlaid with gold.

Также покрыл золотом всю внутреннюю часть дома, всю до конца. Еще он покрыл золотом жертвенник, который принадлежал к внутреннему святилищу.

23 A nd he maketh within the oracle two cherubs, of the oil-tree, ten cubits their height;

Во внутреннем святилище он сделал двух херувимов из масличного дерева, каждого в десять локтей высотой.

24 a nd five cubits the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the second wing of the cherub, ten cubits from the ends of its wings even unto the ends of its wings;

Крыло первого херувима было пять локтей в длину, и другое крыло пять локтей в длину – десять локтей от конца одного крыла до конца другого.

25 a nd ten by the cubit the second cherub, one measure and one form to the two cherubs,

Второй херувим также был десяти локтей, так как оба херувима были одного размера и вида.

26 t he height of the one cherub ten by the cubit, and so the second cherub;

Высота каждого херувима была десять локтей.

27 a nd he setteth the cherubs in the midst of the inner house, and they spread out the wings of the cherubs, and a wing of the one cometh against the wall, and a wing of the second cherub is coming against the second wall, and their wings unto the midst of the house, coming wing against wing;

Он поставил херувимов с распростертыми крыльями во внутреннюю часть дома. Крыло одного херувима касалось одной стены, крыло второго – противоположной стены, а другие крылья херувимов соприкасались посередине комнаты.

28 a nd he overlayeth the cherubs with gold,

Соломон покрыл херувимов золотом.

29 a nd all the walls of the house round about he hath carved with openings of carvings, cherubs, and palm trees, and openings of flowers, within and without.

На стенах вокруг всего дома, и внутри, и снаружи, он вырезал херувимов, пальмы и распустившиеся цветы.

30 A nd the floor of the house he hath overlaid with gold, within and without;

Еще он покрыл пол и внутри, и снаружи дома золотом.

31 a s to the opening of the oracle, he made doors of the oil-tree; the lintel, side-posts, a fifth.

Для входа во внутреннее святилище он сделал двери из масличного дерева с пятиугольными косяками.

32 A nd the two doors of the oil-tree, and he hath carved upon them carvings of cherubs, and palm-trees, and openings of flowers, and overlaid with gold, and he causeth the gold to go down on the cherubs and on the palm-trees.

А на двух дверях из масличного дерева он вырезал херувимов, пальмы и распустившиеся цветы и покрыл херувимов и пальмы золотом.

33 A nd so he hath made for the opening of the temple, side-posts of the oil-tree, from the fourth.

Точно так же он сделал из масличного дерева четырехугольные косяки для входа в главное помещение.

34 A nd the two doors of fir-tree, the two sides of the one door are revolving, and the two hangings of the second door are revolving.

Еще он сделал две двери из кипарисового дерева, каждую с двумя подвижными створками.

35 A nd he hath carved cherubs, and palms, and openings of flowers, and overlaid with straightened gold the graved work.

Он вырезал на них херувимов, пальмы и распустившиеся цветы и покрыл их золотом, ровно наложенным на резьбу.

36 A nd he buildeth the inner court, three rows of hewn work, and a row of beams of cedar.

Он построил внутренний двор из трех рядов обтесанного камня и ряда кедровых балок.

37 I n the fourth year hath the house of Jehovah been founded, in the month Zif,

Основание дома Господа было заложено на четвертом году, в месяце зив.

38 a nd in the eleventh year, in the month Bul -- the eighth month -- hath the house been finished in all its matters, and in all its ordinances, and he buildeth it seven years.

На одиннадцатом году правления Соломона, в месяце буле – а это восьмой месяц, – дом был завершен в соответствии со всеми замыслами о нем. Соломон строил его семь лет.
