1 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `See, I have given thee a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother is thy prophet;

Господь сказал Моисею: – Смотри, Я сделал так, чтобы ты был как Бог для фараона, а твой брат Аарон будет как бы твоим пророком.

2 t hou -- thou dost speak all that I command thee, and Aaron thy brother doth speak unto Pharaoh, and he hath sent the sons of Israel out of his land.

Говори все, что Я тебе велю, а твой брат Аарон пусть скажет фараону, чтобы тот отпустил израильтян из своей страны.

3 ` And I harden the heart of Pharaoh, and have multiplied My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt,

Но Я сделаю сердце фараона упрямым, и хотя Я сотворю много знамений и чудес в Египте,

4 a nd Pharaoh doth not hearken, and I have put My hand on Egypt, and have brought out My hosts, My people, the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by great judgments;

он не послушает тебя. Тогда Я обращу руку Мою на Египет и великими судами выведу Мои воинства, Мой народ, израильтян, из этой земли.

5 a nd the Egyptians have known that I Jehovah, in My stretching out My hand against Egypt; and I have brought out the sons of Israel from their midst.'

Египтяне узнают, что Я – Господь, когда Я занесу руку над Египтом и выведу оттуда израильтян.

6 A nd Moses doth -- Aaron also -- as Jehovah commanded them; so have they done;

Моисей и Аарон сделали, как повелел им Господь.

7 a nd Moses a son of eighty years, and Aaron a son of eighty and three years, in their speaking unto Pharaoh.

Моисею было восемьдесят лет, а Аарону восемьдесят три года, когда они говорили с фараоном. Посох Аарона превращается в змею

8 A nd Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону:

9 ` When Pharaoh speaketh unto you, saying, Give for yourselves a wonder; then thou hast said unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast before Pharaoh -- it becometh a monster.'

– Когда фараон скажет вам: «Сотворите чудо», – скажи Аарону: «Возьми посох и брось его перед фараоном». Посох превратится в змею.

10 A nd Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto Pharaoh, and they do so as Jehovah hath commanded; and Aaron casteth his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it becometh a monster.

Моисей и Аарон пришли к фараону и сделали так, как повелел им Господь. Аарон бросил свой посох перед фараоном и его приближенными, и он превратился в змею.

11 A nd Pharaoh also calleth for wise men, and for sorcerers; and the scribes of Egypt, they also, with their flashings, do so,

Тогда фараон позвал мудрецов и чародеев, и египетские колдуны с помощью колдовства сделали то же самое.

12 a nd they cast down each his rod, and they become monsters, and the rod of Aaron swalloweth their rods;

Каждый бросил свой посох, и те превратились в змей; но посох Аарона проглотил их посохи.

13 a nd the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken.

Однако сердцем фараона завладело упрямство – он не послушал их, как и говорил Господь. Первое наказание: превращение воды в кровь

14 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `The heart of Pharaoh hath been hard, he hath refused to send the people away;

Тогда Господь сказал Моисею: – Фараон упрям и отказывается отпустить народ.

15 g o unto Pharaoh in the morning, lo, he is going out to the water, and thou hast stood to meet him by the edge of the River, and the rod which was turned to a serpent thou dost take in thy hand,

Пойди к фараону утром, когда он выходит к реке. Возьми посох, который превращался в змею, и подожди царя Египта на берегу Нила.

16 a nd thou hast said unto him: Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Send My people away, and they serve Me in the wilderness; and lo, thou hast not hearkened hitherto.

Скажи ему: «Господь, Бог евреев, посылал меня сказать тебе: “Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне в пустыне”. Но до сих пор ты не слушался.

17 ` Thus said Jehovah: By this thou knowest that I Jehovah; lo, I am smiting with the rod which in my hand, on the waters which in the River, and they have been turned to blood,

Так говорит Господь: “Теперь ты узнаешь, что Я – Господь. Посохом, который у меня в руке, я ударю по воде Нила, и вода превратится в кровь.

18 a nd the fish that in the River die, and the River hath stank, and the Egyptians have been wearied of drinking waters from the River.'

Рыба в Ниле умрет, река станет зловонной, и египтяне не смогут пить из нее”».

19 A nd Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thy hand against the waters of Egypt, against their streams, against their rivers, and against their ponds, and against all their collections of waters; and they are blood -- and there hath been blood in all the land of Egypt, both in wood, and in stone.'

Господь сказал Моисею: – Скажи Аарону: «Возьми посох и протяни руку над водами Египта – над реками и каналами, над прудами и всеми водоемами: вода в них превратится в кровь. Кровь будет в Египте повсюду, даже в деревянных и каменных сосудах».

20 A nd Moses and Aaron do so, as Jehovah hath commanded, and he lifteth up with the rod, and smiteth the waters which in the River, before the eyes of Pharaoh, and before the eyes of his servants, and all the waters which in the River are turned to blood,

Моисей и Аарон сделали, как повелел им Господь. Аарон поднял посох на глазах у фараона и его приближенных, ударил по воде Нила, и она превратилась в кровь.

21 a nd the fish which in the River hath died, and the River stinketh, and the Egyptians have not been able to drink water from the River; and the blood is in all the land of Egypt.

Рыба в Ниле умерла, и река стала такой зловонной, что египтяне не могли пить из нее. Кровь была повсюду в Египте.

22 A nd the scribes of Egypt do so with their flashings, and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken,

Но египетские чародеи своим колдовством сделали то же самое. И сердцем фараона завладело упрямство. Он не послушал Моисея и Аарона, как и говорил Господь.

23 a nd Pharaoh turneth and goeth in unto his house, and hath not set his heart even to this;

Царь Египта развернулся и ушел во дворец, даже не задумываясь об этом.

24 a nd all the Egyptians seek water round about the river to drink, for they have not been able to drink of the waters of the River.

А египтяне стали копать колодцы вдоль Нила, чтобы добыть питьевую воду. Они не могли пить из реки.

25 A nd seven days are completed after Jehovah's smiting the River,

С тех пор, как Господь поразил воду в Ниле, прошло семь дней.
