1 T hus said Jehovah, To His anointed, to Cyrus, Whose right hand I have laid hold on, To subdue nations before him, Yea, loins of kings I loose, To open before him two-leaved doors, Yea, gates are not shut:

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ لِمَلِكِهِ المَمسُوحِ كُورُشَ: «أمسَكتُ بِيَدِهِ اليُمنَى، لأُخضِعَ لَهُ أُمَماً، وَلأنزِعَ مُلُوكاً أقوِياءَ. سَأفتَحُ الأبوابَ أمامَهُ، فَلا تَكُونُ البَوّاباتُ مُغلَقَةً.

2 ` I go before thee, and crooked places make straight, Two-leaved doors of brass I shiver, And bars of iron I cut asunder,

«سَأسِيرُ أمامَكَ، وَأجعَلُ المَناطِقَ المُتَعَرِّجَةَ سَهلَةً. سَأكسِرُ الأبوابَ البُرونْزِيَّةَ، وَأقطَعُ أقْفالَ الحَدِيدِ.

3 A nd have given to thee treasures of darkness, Even treasures of secret places, So that thou knowest that I, Jehovah, Who am calling on thy name -- the God of Israel.

سَأُعطِيكَ الثَّروَةَ المَخزُونَةَ فِي الظَّلامِ، وَالكُنُوزَ المُخَبَّأةَ فِي الأماكِنِ السِّرِّيَّةِ، لِتَعرِفَ أنِّي أنا اللهُ ، إلَهُ إسْرائِيلَ الَّذِي يَدعُوكَ بِاسْمِكَ.

4 F or the sake of my servant Jacob, And of Israel My chosen, I call also thee by thy name, I surname thee, And thou hast not known Me.

مِنْ أجلِ خادِمِي يَعقُوبَ وَإسْرائِيلَ مُختارِيَ، دَعَوتُكَ بِاسْمِكَ. أنا أعرِفُ مَنْ أنتَ، مَعَ أنَّكَ لا تَعرِفُنِي.

5 I Jehovah, and there is none else, Except Me there is no God, I gird thee, and thou hast not known Me.

أنا يهوه لَيْسَ سِوايَ، وَلا إلهٌ مِثلِي. قُوَّيتُكَ، لَكِنَّكَ لَمْ تَعْرِفْني!

6 S o that they know from the rising of the sun, And from the west, that there is none besides Me, I Jehovah, and there is none else,

لِيَعلَمَ الجَمِيعُ مِنَ المَشارِقِ وَمِنَ المَغَارِبِ أنْ لا إلَهَ إلّا أنا، أنا يهوه وَلَيْسَ سِوايَ.

7 F orming light, and preparing darkness, Making peace, and preparing evil, I Jehovah, doing all these things.'

أنا أُبدِعُ النُّورَ وَأخلِقُ الظُّلمَةَ، أصنَعُ السَّلامَ وَأخلِقُ المَصائِبَ. أنا اللهَ أصنَعُ هَذِهِ جَميعاً.

8 D rop, ye heavens, from above, And clouds do cause righteousness to flow, Earth openeth, and they are fruitful, Salvation and righteousness spring up together, I, Jehovah, have prepared it.

«لِتُمطِرِ السَّماواتُ مِنْ فَوقُ، وَلْتَسكُبِ الغُيُومُ صَلاحاً. لِتَنفَتِحِ الأرْضُ حَتَّى يَنبُتَ الخَلاصُ وَيَخرُجَ الصَّلاحُ مَعَهُ. أنا اللهَ خَلَقْتُهُ. سَيطَرَةُ اللهِ عَلَى خَلِيقَتِه

9 W o him who is striving with his Former, (A potsherd with potsherds of the ground!) Doth clay say to its Framer, `What dost thou?' And thy work, `He hath no hands?'

«وَيلٌ لِمَنْ يُخاصِمُ جابِلَهُ، وَهُوَ لَيسَ سِوَى قِطعَةِ فَخّارٍ مِنْ إناءٍ مَكسُورٍ. فَهَلْ يَقُولُ الطِّينُ لِجابِلِهِ: ‹ما الَّذِي تَصنَعُهُ؟› أوْ ‹أنتَ بِلا بَراعَةٍ.›

10 W o him who is saying to a father, `What dost thou beget?' Or to a wife, `What dost thou bring forth?

وَيلٌ لِمَنْ يَقُولُ لِوالِدٍ: ‹ما الَّذِي تَلِدُهُ؟› أوْ لِوالِدَةٍ: ‹بِمَ تَتَمَخَّضِينَ؟›»

11 T hus said Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel, and his Former: Ask Me of the things coming concerning My sons, Yea, concerning the work of My hands, ye command Me.'

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ ، قُدُّوسُ إسْرائِيلَ وَجابِلُهُ: «افَتَسألُونَنِي عَنْ أولادِي؟ أتُشِيرونَ عَلَيَّ فِي أعْمالِ يَدَيَّ؟

12 I made earth, and man on it prepared, I -- My hands stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded.

«أنا صَنَعتُ الأرْضَ، وَخَلَقتُ الإنسانَ عَلَيها. أنا بَسَطتُ السَّماواتِ بِيَدِي، وَأمَرْتُ كُلَّ جُندِها.

13 I have stirred him up in righteousness, And all his ways I make straight, He doth build My city, and My captivity doth send out, Not for price, nor for bribe, said Jehovah of Hosts.

أنا أيقَظتُ كُورَشَ لِهَدَفٍ صالِحٍ، وَسَأجعَلُ كُلَّ سُبُلِهِ سَهلَةً. لأنَّهُ سَيُعِيدُ بِناءَ مَدِينَتِي، وَسَيُطلِقُ أسرَى شَعبِي مِنْ غَيرِ ثَمَنٍ أوْ رِشوَةٍ.» يَقُولُ اللهُ القَدِيرُ.

14 T hus said Jehovah, `The labour of Egypt, And the merchandise of Cush, And of the Sebaim -- men of measure, Unto thee pass over, and thine they are, After thee they go, in fetters they pass over, And unto thee they bow themselves, Unto thee they pray: Only in thee God, And there is none else, no God.

هَذا هُوَ ما يَقُولُهُ اللهُ: «ما تُنتِجُهُ مِصْرُ وَتُجّارُ كُوشَ وَالسَّبَئِيُّونَ الأثرِياءُ، كُلُّهُ سَيأتِي إلَيكَ، وَسَيَكُونُ لَكَ. وَهُمْ سَيَتبَعُونَكَ وَيَأتُونَ إلَيكَ فِي سَلاسِلَ. سَيَنحَنُونَ لَكَ، وَإيّاكَ سَيَتَرَجَّوْنَ وَيَقُولُونَ: ‹إنَّما اللهُ مَعَكَ، وَلا إلَهَ غَيرَهُ.›»

15 S urely Thou a God hiding Thyself, God of Israel -- Saviour!

إنَّكَ لَستَ إلَهاً يُخفِي نَفسَهُ، يا إلَهَ إسْرائِيلَ الَّذِي تَأتِي بِالنَّصرِ وَالخَلاصِ.

16 T hey have been ashamed, And they have even blushed -- all of them, Together gone in confusion have those carving images.

كُلُّهُمْ سَيُخزَوْنَ وَيَخجَلُونَ، وَسَيَمضِي صانِعُو الأوثانِ مَعاً فِي عارٍ.

17 I srael hath been saved in Jehovah, A salvation age-during! Ye are not ashamed nor confounded Unto the ages of eternity!

اللهُ يَخلِّصُ إسْرائِيلُ خَلاصاً يَدُومُ إلَى الأبَدِ. لَنْ تَخزَوا وَلَنْ تَخجَلُوا إلَى أبَدِ الآبِدِينَ.

18 F or thus said Jehovah, Creator of heaven, He is God, Former of earth, and its Maker, He established it -- not empty He prepared it, For inhabiting He formed it: `I Jehovah, and there is none else.

خالِقُ السَّماواتِ هُوَ اللهُ. هُوَ شَكَّلَ الأرْضَ وَصَنَعَها، أسَّسَها وَلَمْ يَخلِقْها لِتَكُونَ فارِغَةً، بَلْ صَنَعَها لِتُسكَنَ. وَيَقُولُ: «أنا اللهُ ، وَلا إلَهَ آخَرَ غَيرِي. لَمْ أتَكَلَّمْ بِالسِّرِّ، أوْ فِي مَكانٍ مُظلِمٍ.

19 N ot in secret have I spoken, in a dark place of the earth, I have not said to the seed of Jacob, In vain seek ye Me, I Jehovah, speaking righteousness, Declaring uprightness.

لَمْ أقُلْ لِنَسلِ يَعقُوبَ: ‹اطلُبُونِي وَلَكِنْ مِنْ غَيرِ فائِدَةٍ.› أنا اللهُ وَأقُولُ الحَقَّ، وَأُخبِرُ بِما هُوَ مُستَقِيمٌ. اللهُ الواحِد

20 B e gathered, and come in, Come nigh together, ye escaped of the nations, They have not known, Who are lifting up the wood of their graven image, And praying unto a god saveth not.

«يا مَنْ هَرَبتُمْ مِنَ الأُمَمِ الأُخرَى، تَجَمَعُوا وَتَعالَوْا. اقتَرِبُوا إلَيَّ مَعاً. إنَّ الَّذِينَ يَحمِلُونَ أصنامَهُمُ الخَشَبِيَّةَ وَيُصَلُّونَ إلَى إلَهٍ لا يَقدِرُ أنْ يُخَلِّصَهُمْ، هُمْ بِلا فَهمٍ.

21 D eclare ye, and bring near, Yea, they take counsel together, Who hath proclaimed this from of old? From that time hath declared it? Is it not I -- Jehovah? And there is no other god besides Me, A God righteous and saving, there is none save Me.

تَعالَوا وَقَدِّمُوا دَعْواكُمْ، وَتَشاوَرُوا. مَنْ أعلَنَ هَذا مُنذُ زَمَنٍ طَوِيلٍ؟ مَنْ تَنَبَّأ بِهَذا مُنذُ زَمَنٍ طَوِيلٍ؟ ألَمْ يَكُنْ أنا اللهَ ؟ لا إلَهَ غَيرِي، إلَهاً بارّاً مُخَلِّصاً، وَلَيسَ سِوايَ.

22 T urn to Me, and be saved, all ends of the earth, For I God, and there is none else.

«التَفِتُوا إلَيَّ وَاخلُصُوا يا كُلَّ النّاسِ فِي كُلِّ مَكانٍ، لأنِّي أنا هُوَ اللهُ، وَلا إلَهَ غَيرِي.

23 B y Myself I have sworn, Gone out from my mouth in righteousness hath a word, And it turneth not back, That to Me, bow doth every knee, every tongue swear.

أُقسِمُ بِذاتِي – وَهِيَ كَلِمَةٌ خَرَجَتْ مِنْ فَمِي بِالحَقِّ لَنْ تَتَغَيَّرَ – سَتَنحَنِي أمامِي كُلُّ رُكبَةٍ، وَسَيَحلِفُ بِي كُلُّ لِسانٍ.

24 O nly in Jehovah, said hath one, Have I righteousness and strength, Unto Him he cometh in, And ashamed are all those displeased with Him.

وَسَيَقُولُونَ: ‹إنَّما باللهِ العَدلُ وَالقُوَّةُ.›» كُلُّ الغاضِبِينَ مِنهُ سَيَأتُونَ إلَيهِ وَيَخزَونَ.

25 I n Jehovah are all the seed of Israel justified, And they boast themselves.'

وَسَيَفتَخِرُ كُلُّ نَسلِ إسْرائِيلَ باللهِ ، وَسَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ.
