1 ` Hear this, O priests, and attend, O house of Israel, And, O house of the king, give ear, For the judgment for you, For, a snare ye have been on Mizpah, And a net spread out on Tabor.

«اسْمَعُوا هَذا أيُّها الكَهَنَةُ، وَأصغُوا يا بَيتَ إسْرائِيلَ، وَاسمَعُوا يا أفْرادَ بَيتِ المَلِكِ. هَذِهِ الدَّينُونَةُ هِيَ ضِدُّكُمْ، لأنَّكُمْ صِرتُمْ فَخّاً عَلَى جَبَلِ المِصفاةِ وَشَبَكَةً مَبسُوطَةً عَلَى جَبَلِ تابُورَ.

2 A nd to slaughter sinners have gone deep, And I a fetter to them all.

المُتَمَرِّدُونَ لا يَتَوَقَّفُونَ عَنِ الذَّبحِ، سَأُعاقِبُهُمْ جَمِيعاً.

3 I have known Ephraim, And Israel hath not been hid from me, For now thou hast gone a-whoring, Ephraim, Defiled is Israel.

أنا أعرِفُ أفْرايِمَ، وَإسْرائِيلُ لَيسَ مَخفِيّاً عَنِّي. أعرِفُ يا أفْرايِمُ بِأنَّكَ زانٍ، وَيا إسْرائِيلُ بَأنَّكَ نَجِسٌ.

4 T hey give not up their habitual doings, To turn back unto their God, For a spirit of whoredoms in their midst, And Jehovah they have not known.

أعمالُهُمْ تَمَنَعُهُمْ مِنَ الرُّجُوعِ إلَى اللهِ ، لأنَّهُمْ يَعِيشُونَ لأجلِ الزِّنَى وَلا يَعرِفُونَ اللهَ.

5 A nd humbled hath been the excellency of Israel to his face, And Israel and Ephraim stumble by their iniquity, Stumbled also hath Judah with them.

سَتَشهَدُ كِبرِياءُ إسْرائِيلَ عَلَيهِ، وَإسْرائِيلُ وَأفرايِمُ سَيَسقُطانِ فِي إثمِهِما، وَيَهُوذا سَتَسقُطُ مَعَهُمْا.

6 W ith their flock and with their herd, They go to seek Jehovah, and do not find, He hath withdrawn from them.

سَيَذهَبُ بَنو إسْرائِيلَ مَعَ قُطعانِ غَنَمِهِمْ وَبَقَرِهِمْ لِيَبحَثُوا عِنِ اللهِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ لَن يَجِدُوهُ، فَقَدِ ابتَعَدَ عَنهُمْ.

7 A gainst Jehovah they dealt treacherously, For strange sons they have begotten, Now consume them doth a month their portions.

خانُوا اللهَ وَأنجَبُوا أولاداً غُرَباءَ، وَالآنَ سَيُهلِكُهُمُ الغازِي وَيُخَرِّبُ أرْضَهُمْ. نُبُوَّة عَن دَمارِ إسْرائِيل

8 B low ye a cornet in Gibeah, a trumpet in Ramah, Shout, O Beth-Aven, after thee, O Benjamin.

«انفُخُوا بِالقَرنِ فِي جَبعَةَ، اضرِبُوا بِالبُوقِ فِي الرّامَةِ، اصرُخُوا فِي بَيتِ آوِنَ، انتَبِه يا بَنْيامِيْنَ.

9 E phraim is for a desolation in a day of reproof, Among the tribes of Israel I have made known a sure thing.

احكُمْ عَلَى أفْرايِمَ بِالدَّمارِ، قَد أعلَنتُ هَذا فِي قَبائِلِ إسْرائِيلَ.

10 P rinces of Judah have been as those removing a border, On them I do pour out as water My wrath.

رُؤَساءُ يَهُوذا كَلُصُوصٍ يُحَرِّكُونَ عَلاماتِ حُدُودِ الأراضِي عَنْ مَواضِعِها. سَأسكُبَ عَلَيهِمْ غَضَبِي كَالماءِ.

11 O ppressed is Ephraim, broken in judgment, When he pleased he went after the command.

أفْرايِمُ مَظلُومٌ، وَحَقُّهُ مَسحُوقٌ، لأنَّهُ رَضِيَ أن يَذهَبَ وَراءَ الفَسادِ.

12 A nd I as a moth to Ephraim, And as a rotten thing to the house of Judah.

سَأُخَرِّبُ أفْرايِمَ كَالعُثِّ، وَبَنِي يَهُوذا كَالصَّدَأ.

13 A nd see doth Ephraim his sickness, and Judah his wound, And Ephraim goeth unto Asshur, And sendeth unto a warlike king, And he is not able to give healing to you, Nor doth he remove from you a scar.

رَأى أفْرايِمُ أنَّهُ كانَ مَرِيضاً، وَيَهُوذا أنَّهُ مَجرُوحٌ. وَلَكِنَّ أفْرايِمَ ذَهَبَ إلَى أشُّورَ طالِباً العَونَ، وَأرسَلَ يَهُوذا ليَطلُبَ مُساعَدَةً مِنْ مَلِكِها العَظِيمِ. لَكِنَّهُ لا يَقدِرُ أن يَشفِيَكُمْ، وَلَن يَستَطِيعَ شَفاءَ جُرحِكُمْ.

14 F or I as a lion to Ephraim, And as a young lion to the house of Judah, I -- I tear and go, I bear away, and there is no deliverer.

لأنِّي سَأُهاجِمُ أفْرايِمَ كَأسَدٍ، وَيَهُوذا كَشِبلِ أسَدٍ. أنا سَأُمَزِّقُهُمْ، وَسَآتِي وَآخُذُهُمْ إلَى عَرِينِي لألتَهِمَهُمْ، وَلَن يَستَطِيعَ أحَدٌ أن يُنقِذَهُمْ مِنِّي.

15 I go -- I turn back unto My place, Till that they are desolate, and have sought My face. In their distress they do seek Me speedily!'

سَأعُودُ إلَى مَكانِي إلَى أن يَخجَلُوا وَيَعتَرِفُوا بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَطلُبُوا حُضُورِي. فِفِي ضِيقِهِمْ، سَيستَجدُونَ إحسانِي.»
