1 A m auzit un glas puternic spunându-le din Templu celor şapte îngeri: „Duceţi-vă şi vărsaţi pe pământ cele şapte vase ale mâniei lui Dumnezeu!“

And I heard a great voice out of the sanctuary saying to the seven messengers, `Go away, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God to the earth;'

2 P rimul s-a dus şi şi-a vărsat vasul pe pământ. Şi peste oamenii care aveau semnul fiarei şi se închinaseră imaginii ei a venit o rană urâtă şi dureroasă.

and the first did go away, and did pour out his vial upon the land, and there came a sore -- bad and grievous -- to men, those having the mark of the beast, and those bowing to his image.

3 A l doilea şi-a vărsat vasul în mare. Şi ea s-a făcut ca sângele unui om mort, iar toate vietăţile care erau în mare au murit.

And the second messenger did pour out his vial to the sea, and there came blood as of dead, and every living soul died in the sea.

4 A l treilea şi-a vărsat vasul în râuri şi în izvoarele apelor. Şi ele s-au transformat în sânge.

And the third messenger did pour out his vial to the rivers, and to the fountains of the waters, and there came blood,

5 L -am auzit pe îngerul apelor spunând: „Tu eşti drept – Tu, Cel Care eşti şi Care erai, Tu, Cel Sfânt – pentru că ai judecat aceste lucruri.

and I heard the messenger of the waters, saying, `righteous, O Lord, art Thou, who art, and who wast, and who shalt be, because these things Thou didst judge,

6 F iindcă ei au vărsat sângele sfinţilor şi al profeţilor, le-ai dat şi Tu să bea sânge! Sunt vrednici de aceasta!“

because blood of saints and prophets they did pour out, and blood to them Thou didst give to drink, for they are worthy;'

7 Ş i am auzit altarul spunând: „Da, Doamne, Dumnezeule Atotputernic, judecăţile Tale sunt adevărate şi drepte!“

and I heard another out of the altar, saying, `Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous Thy judgments.'

8 A l patrulea şi-a vărsat vasul peste soare. Şi soarelui i s-a dat să-i pârjolească pe oameni cu foc.

And the fourth messenger did pour out his vial upon the sun, and there was given to him to scorch men with fire,

9 O amenii au fost pârjoliţi de căldura lui arzătoare şi au blasfemiat Numele lui Dumnezeu, Cel Care are autoritate peste aceste urgii. Şi nu s-au pocăit şi nu I-au dat slavă.

and men were scorched with great heat, and they did speak evil of the name of God, who hath authority over these plagues, and they did not reform -- to give to Him glory.

10 A l cincilea şi-a vărsat vasul peste tronul fiarei. Şi împărăţia ei a fost acoperită de întuneric. Oamenii şi-au muşcat limbile de durere

And the fifth messenger did pour out his vial upon the throne of the beast, and his kingdom did become darkened, and they were gnawing their tongues from the pain,

11 ş i L-au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeul cerului din cauza durerilor şi a bubelor lor. Şi nu s-au pocăit de faptele lor.

and they did speak evil of the God of the heaven, from their pains, and from their sores, and they did not reform from their works.

12 A l şaselea şi-a vărsat vasul peste Râul cel Mare, Eufratul. Şi apa lui a secat, ca să fie pregătit drumul regilor de la răsărit.

And the sixth messenger did pour out his vial upon the great river, the Euphrates, and dried up was its water, that the way of the kings who are from the rising of the sun may be made ready;

13 A m văzut trei duhuri necurate, ca nişte broaşte, ieşind din gura balaurului, din gura fiarei şi din gura profetului fals.

and I saw out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs --

14 A cestea sunt duhuri de demoni, care fac semne şi se duc la regii întregii lumi ca să-i adune pentru războiul zilei celei mari a Dumnezeului Atotputernic.

for they are spirits of demons, doing signs -- which go forth unto the kings of the earth, and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God the Almighty; --

15 „ Iată, Eu vin ca un hoţ. Ferice de cel ce veghează şi îşi păzeşte hainele ca să nu umble gol, şi oamenii să nu-i vadă ruşinea.“

`lo, I do come as a thief; happy he who is watching, and keeping his garments, that he may not walk naked, and they may see his unseemliness,' --

16 I -au adunat în locul numit în ebraică „ Armaghedon “.

and they did bring them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon.

17 A l şaptelea şi-a vărsat vasul în văzduh. Şi din Templu, de la tron, s-a auzit un glas puternic spunând: „S-a terminat!“

And the seventh messenger did pour out his vial to the air, and there came forth a great voice from the sanctuary of the heaven, from the throne, saying, `It hath come!'

18 A u avut loc fulgere, sunete şi tunete şi a fost un mare cutremur, un cutremur aşa de mare cum n-a mai fost de când este omul pe pământ.

and there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and a great earthquake came, such as came not since men came upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake -- so great!

19 C etatea cea mare s-a rupt în trei părţi, iar cetăţile neamurilor s-au prăbuşit. Dumnezeu Şi-a amintit de marele Babilon ca să-i dea paharul cu vinul mâniei Lui aprinse.

And it came -- the great city -- into three parts, and the cities of the nations did fall, and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the wrath of His anger,

20 O rice insulă a dispărut, iar munţii n-au mai fost găsiţi.

and every island did flee away, and mountains were not found,

21 D in cer a căzut peste oameni o grindină mare, cu boabe care cântăreau aproape un talant. Din cauza urgiei cu grindina, oamenii L-au blasfemiat pe Dumnezeu, pentru că fusese o urgie foarte grea.

and great hail (as of talent weight) doth come down out of the heaven upon men, and men did speak evil of God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague is very great.
