1 D omnul i-a zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 „ Să ştii că l-am chemat pe nume pe Beţalel, fiul lui Uri, fiul lui Hur, din seminţia lui Iuda,

`See, I have called by name Bezaleel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,

3 l -am umplut cu Duhul lui Dumnezeu, cu înţelepciune, cu pricepere şi cunoaştere pentru tot felul de lucrări,

and I fill him the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work,

4 c a să creeze proiecte de artă, să prelucreze aurul, argintul şi bronzul,

to devise devices to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

5 s ă taie şi să fixeze pietre scumpe, să prelucreze lemnul şi să facă tot felul de lucrări artizanale.

and in graving of stone for settings, and in graving of wood to work in all work.

6 I l-am dat ca ajutor şi pe Oholiab, fiul lui Ahisamah, din seminţia lui Dan; tuturor oamenilor iscusiţi le-am dat înţelepciune, ca să facă tot ce ţi-am poruncit:

`And I, lo, I have given with him Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and in the heart of every wise-hearted one I have given wisdom, and they have made all that which I have commanded thee.

7 C ortul Întâlnirii, Chivotul Mărturiei şi Capacul Ispăşirii care este peste el, precum şi toate obiectele din cort –

`The tent of meeting, and the ark of testimony, and the mercy-seat which on it, and all the vessels of the tent,

8 m asa şi uneltele ei, sfeşnicul din aur curat cu toate uneltele lui, altarul tămâierii,

and the table and its vessels, and the pure candlestick and all its vessels, and the altar of the perfume,

9 a ltarul arderilor de tot cu toate uneltele lui, ligheanul cu piedestalul lui,

and the altar of the burnt-offering and all its vessels, and the laver and its base,

10 v eşmintele ţesute, veşmintele sfinte ale preotului Aaron, veşmintele fiilor săi pentru slujirea ca preoţi,

and the coloured garments, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, for acting as priests in;

11 u ntdelemnul pentru ungere şi tămâia mirositoare pentru Locul Sfânt. Toate acestea vor trebui să le facă după cum ţi-am poruncit.“ Imperativul păzirii Sabatului. Tablele Legământului

and the anointing oil, and the perfume of the spices for the sanctuary; according to all that I have commanded thee -- they do.'

12 D omnul i-a mai zis lui Moise:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

13 „ Aşa să le spui israeliţilor: «Să ţineţi Sabatele Mele, pentru că lucrul acesta este un semn între Mine şi voi pentru generaţiile care vin, ca voi să ştiţi că Eu, Domnul, vă sfinţesc.

`And thou, speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Only, My sabbaths ye do keep, for it a sign between Me and you, to your generations, to know that I, Jehovah, am sanctifying you;

14 S ă ţineţi Sabatul, căci el este pentru voi ceva sfânt; oricine îl va pângări să fie pedepsit cu moartea; oricine va lucra în ziua aceea să fie nimicit din poporul său.

and ye have kept the sabbath, for it holy to you, he who is polluting it is certainly put to death -- for any who doeth work in it -- that person hath even been cut off from the midst of his people.

15 S ă se lucreze şase zile, iar ziua a şaptea să fie o zi de odihnă, pusă deoparte pentru Domnul; oricine lucrează în ziua de Sabat să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

`Six days is work done, and in the seventh day a sabbath of holy rest to Jehovah; any who doeth work in the sabbath-day is certainly put to death,

16 I sraeliţii trebuie să ţină Sabatul, păzindu-l în generaţiile care vin, ca pe un legământ necurmat.

and the sons of Israel have observed the sabbath; to keep the sabbath to their generations a covenant age-during,

17 A cesta va fi un semn veşnic între Mine şi israeliţi, căci în şase zile a făcut Domnul cerurile şi pământul, iar în ziua a şaptea s-a odihnit şi Şi-a tras răsuflarea.»“

between Me and the sons of Israel it a sign -- to the age; for six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, and in the seventh day He hath ceased, and is refreshed.'

18 C ând Dumnezeu a terminat de vorbit cu Moise pe muntele Sinai, i-a dat acestuia cele două table ale Mărturiei, table de piatră scrise cu degetul lui Dumnezeu.

And He giveth unto Moses, when He finisheth speaking with him in mount Sinai, two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written by the finger of God.
