1 I nima mea este pregătită, Dumnezeule; voi cânta şi voi suna din instrumentele mele. Trezeşte-te, suflet al meu!

A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.

2 T reziţi-vă, harfă şi liră! Voi trezi zorii.

Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.

3 D oamne, Te voi lăuda printre popoare, Îţi voi cânta printre neamuri.

I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.

4 C ăci îndurarea Ta este mai înaltă decât cerurile, iar credincioşia Ta este mai presus de nori!

For great above the heavens Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.

5 F ii înălţat, Dumnezeule, mai presus de ceruri şi fie slava Ta peste întreg pământul!

Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.

6 P entru ca preaiubiţii Tăi să fie salvaţi, dă izbăvire prin dreapta Ta şi răspunde-mi!

That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save Thy right hand, and answer us.

7 D umnezeu a vorbit în sfinţenia Sa: „Voi triumfa, voi împărţi Şehemul şi voi măsura valea Sucot!

God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

8 A l Meu este Ghiladul, al Meu este şi Manase; Efraim este coiful Meu, iar Iuda – sceptrul Meu!

Mine Gilead, mine Manasseh, And Ephraim the strength of my head, Judah my lawgiver,

9 M oab este vasul în care Mă spăl! Deasupra Edomului Îmi arunc încălţările, iar strigătele Mele de triumf se aud peste Filistia.“

Moab a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.

10 C ine mă va conduce în cetatea fortificată? Cine mă va călăuzi până în Edom?

Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

11 O are nu Tu, Dumnezeule, Cel Care ne-ai respins? Oare nu Tu, Dumnezeule, Cel Care nu mai ieşi cu oştirile noastre?

Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!

12 D ă-ne ajutor împotriva duşmanului, căci zadarnic este sprijinul dat de om!

Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.

13 C u Dumnezeu vom fi biruitori şi El îi va călca în picioare pe duşmanii noştri.

In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!
