1 L e huitième jour, Moïse appela Aaron et ses fils, et les anciens d'Israël.

And it cometh to pass on the eighth day, Moses hath called for Aaron and for his sons, and for the elders of Israel,

2 I l dit à Aaron: Prends un jeune veau pour le sacrifice d'expiation, et un bélier pour l'holocauste, l'un et l'autre sans défaut, et sacrifie-les devant l'Éternel.

and he saith unto Aaron, `Take to thyself a calf, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, perfect ones, and bring near before Jehovah.

3 T u parleras aux enfants d'Israël, et tu diras: Prenez un bouc, pour le sacrifice d'expiation, un veau et un agneau, âgés d'un an et sans défaut, pour l'holocauste;

`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf, and a lamb, sons of a year, perfect ones, for a burnt-offering,

4 u n boeuf et un bélier, pour le sacrifice d'actions de grâces, afin de les sacrifier devant l'Éternel; et une offrande pétrie à l'huile. Car aujourd'hui l'Éternel vous apparaîtra.

and a bullock and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah, and a present mixed with oil; for to-day Jehovah hath appeared unto you.'

5 I ls amenèrent devant la tente d'assignation ce que Moïse avait ordonné; et toute l'assemblée s'approcha, et se tint devant l'Éternel.

And they take that which Moses hath commanded unto the front of the tent of meeting, and all the company draw near and stand before Jehovah;

6 M oïse dit: Vous ferez ce que l'Éternel a ordonné; et la gloire de l'Éternel vous apparaîtra.

and Moses saith, `This the thing which Jehovah hath commanded; do, and the honour of Jehovah doth appear unto you.'

7 M oïse dit à Aaron: Approche-toi de l'autel; offre ton sacrifice d'expiation et ton holocauste, et fais l'expiation pour toi et pour le peuple; offre aussi le sacrifice du peuple, et fais l'expiation pour lui, comme l'Éternel l'a ordonné.

And Moses saith unto Aaron, `Draw near unto the altar, and make thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people, and make the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah hath commanded.'

8 A aron s'approcha de l'autel, et il égorgea le veau pour son sacrifice d'expiation.

And Aaron draweth near unto the altar, and slaughtereth the calf of the sin-offering, which for himself;

9 L es fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang; il trempa son doigt dans le sang, en mit sur les cornes de l'autel, et répandit le sang au pied de l'autel.

and the sons of Aaron bring the blood near unto him, and he dippeth his finger in the blood, and putteth on the horns of the altar, and the blood he hath poured out at the foundation of the altar;

10 I l brûla sur l'autel la graisse, les rognons, et le grand lobe du foie de la victime expiatoire, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.

and the fat, and the kidneys, and the redundance of the liver, of the sin-offering, he hath made a perfume on the altar, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses;

11 M ais il brûla au feu hors du camp la chair et la peau.

and the flesh and the skin he hath burnt with fire, at the outside of the camp.

12 I l égorgea l'holocauste. Les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit sur l'autel tout autour.

And he slaughtereth the burnt-offering, and the sons of Aaron have presented unto him the blood, and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about;

13 I ls lui présentèrent l'holocauste coupé par morceaux, avec la tête, et il les brûla sur l'autel.

and the burnt-offering they have presented unto him, by its pieces, and the head, and he maketh perfume on the altar;

14 I l lava les entrailles et les jambes, et il les brûla sur l'autel, par dessus l'holocauste.

and he washeth the inwards and the legs, and maketh perfume for the burnt-offering on the altar.

15 E nsuite, il offrit le sacrifice du peuple. Il prit le bouc pour le sacrifice expiatoire du peuple, il l'égorgea, et l'offrit en expiation, comme la première victime.

And he bringeth near the offering of the people, and taketh the goat of the sin-offering which for the people, and slaughtered it, and maketh it a sin-offering, like the first;

16 I l offrit l'holocauste, et le sacrifia, d'après les règles établies.

and he bringeth near the burnt-offering, and maketh it, according to the ordinance;

17 I l présenta l'offrande, en prit une poignée, et la brûla sur l'autel, outre l'holocauste du matin.

and he bringeth near the present, and filleth his palm with it, and maketh perfume on the altar, apart from the burnt-offering of the morning.

18 I l égorgea le boeuf et le bélier, en sacrifice d'actions de grâces pour le peuple. Les fils d'Aaron lui présentèrent le sang, et il le répandit sur l'autel tout autour.

And he slaughtereth the bullock and the ram, a sacrifice of the peace-offerings, which for the people, and sons of Aaron present the blood unto him (and he sprinkleth it on the altar round about),

19 I ls lui présentèrent la graisse du boeuf et du bélier, la queue, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, les rognons, et le grand lobe du foie;

and the fat of the bullock, and of the ram, the fat tail, and the covering, and the kidneys, and the redundance above the liver,

20 i ls mirent les graisses sur les poitrines, et il brûla les graisses sur l'autel.

and they set the fat on the breasts, and he maketh perfume with the fat on the altar;

21 A aron agita de côté et d'autre devant l'Éternel les poitrines et l'épaule droite, comme Moïse l'avait ordonné.

and the breasts, and the right leg hath Aaron waved -- a wave-offering before Jehovah, as He hath commanded Moses.

22 A aron leva ses mains vers le peuple, et il le bénit. Puis il descendit, après avoir offert le sacrifice d'expiation, l'holocauste et le sacrifice d'actions de grâces.

And Aaron lifteth up his hand towards the people, and blesseth them, and cometh down from making the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

23 M oïse et Aaron entrèrent dans la tente d'assignation. Lorsqu'ils en sortirent, ils bénirent le peuple. Et la gloire de l'Éternel apparut à tout le peuple.

And Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto the tent of meeting, and they come out, and bless the people, and the honour of Jehovah appeareth unto all the people;

24 L e feu sortit de devant l'Éternel, et consuma sur l'autel l'holocauste et les graisses. Tout le peuple le vit; et ils poussèrent des cris de joie, et se jetèrent sur leur face.

and fire cometh out from before Jehovah, and consumeth on the altar the burnt-offering, and the fat; and all the people see, and cry aloud, and fall on their faces.
