1 Н а Иосифовите потомци се падна по жребие <земята> от Иордан при Ерихон при ерихонските води на изток в пустинята, <земята>, която възлиза от Ерихон през хълмистата страна до Ветил;

And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

2 и <границата> се простираше от Ветил до Луз, и минаваше през околността на Архиатарот,

and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi Ataroth,

3 и слизаше на запад в околността на Яфлети до околността на долния Веторон и до Гезер и свършваше при морето.

and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

4 И Иосифовите потомци, <племената на> Манасия и Ефрема, взеха наследството си.

And the sons of Joseph -- Manasseh and Ephraim -- inherit.

5 П ределът на ефремците, според семействата им, ето какъв беше: границата на наследството им към изток беше Атарот-адар до горния Веторон;

And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;

6 и на север от Михметат границата се простираше към запад; и границата завиваше към изток до Танат-сило, и от там преминаваше на изток от Янох;

and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

7 и слизаше от Янох до Атарот и до Наарат, и достигаше до Ерихон и свършваше при Иордан.

and gone down from Janohah Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

8 О т Тапфуа границата отиваше към запад до потока Кана и свършваше при морето. Това е наследството на племето на ефремците според семействата им.

From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

9 И маше и градове отделени за ефремците между наследството на манасийците, - всички тия градове със селата им.

And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

10 Н о те не изгониха ханаанците, които живееха в Гезер; но ханаанците живееха между ефремците, <както живеят и> до днес, и станаха поданни роби.

and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute -- a servant.
