1 Н о Господ ми рече: Даже Моисей и Самуил ако биха застанали пред Мене, Пак душата Ми не би <се смилила> за тия люде. Изпъди ги от лицето Ми, и нека си излязат.

And Jehovah saith unto me: Though Moses and Samuel should stand before Me, My soul is not toward this people, Send from before My face, and they go out.

2 И когато ти рекат: Къде да излезем? Тогава ще им речеш: Така казва Господ: Които са за смърт, на смърт, И които са за нож, под нож; И които са за глад, на глад, И които са за плен, в плен.

And it hath come to pass, when they say to thee, Whither do we go out? that thou hast said unto them, Thus said Jehovah: Those who for death -- to death, And those who are for the sword, to the sword, And those who are for famine, to famine, And those who are for captivity, to captivity.

3 И ще докарам на тях четири вида <язви>, казва Господ: Ножът да заколи и кучетата да разкъсат, А небесните птици и земните зверове Да изпоядат и да изтребят.

And I have appointed over them four kinds, an affirmation of Jehovah, The sword to slay, and the dogs to drag, And the fowl of the heavens, And the beast of the earth, to consume and to devour.

4 И ще ги направя да бъдат тласкани по всичките царства на света Поради Манасия, син на Юдовия цар Езекия, По причина на това, което стори в Ерусалим.

And I have given them for a trembling To all kingdoms of the earth, Because of Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah, For that which he did in Jerusalem.

5 З ащото кой ще се умилостиви за тебе, Ерусалиме? Или кой ще те пожали? Или кой ще се обърне да те попита: Как си?

For who hath pity on thee, O Jerusalem? And who doth bemoan for thee? And who turneth aside to ask of thy welfare?

6 Т и си Ме отхвърлил, казва Господ, Отишъл си надире, Затова ще простра ръката Си против тебе та ще те погубя; Дотегна Ми да показвам милост.

Thou -- thou hast left Me -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Backward thou goest, And I stretch out My hand against thee, And I destroy thee, I have been weary of repenting,

7 Щ е ги отвея с веяло в портите на тая земя, Ще ги обезчадя, ще изтребя людете Си, <Защото> не се връщат от пътищата си.

And I scatter them with a fan, in the gates the land, I bereaved, I have destroyed My people, From their ways they turned not back.

8 В довиците им се умножиха пред Мене повече от морския пясък; На пладне доведох грабител върху тях против майката на младите; Внезапно докарах върху нея мъка и ужаси.

Its widows have been more to Me than the sand of the seas, I brought in to them -- against the mother -- A young man -- a spoiler -- at noon. I caused to fall upon her suddenly, wrath and trouble.

9 О ная, която роди седем, изнемощя, предаде дух; Нейното слънце залезе, когато беше още ден, Тя биде посрамена и смутена; А останалите от тях ще предам на нож Пред неприятелите им, казва Господ.

Languished hath the bearer of seven, She hath breathed out her spirit, Gone in hath her sun while yet day, It hath been ashamed and confounded, And their residue to the sword I give up before their enemies, An affirmation of Jehovah.

10 Г орко ми, майко моя, За гдето си ме родила човек за каране, И човек за препиране с целия свят! Аз нито съм давал с лихва, нито са ми давали с лихва, <Все пак, обаче>, всеки от тях ме кълне.

Wo to me, my mother, For thou hast borne me a man of strife, And a man of contention to all the land, I have not lent on usury, Nor have they lent on usury to me -- All of them are reviling me.

11 Г оспод ми каза: Непременно ще те укрепя за добро; Непременно ще заставя неприятеля да ти се моли В лошо време и в скръбно време.

Jehovah said, Did I not direct thee for good? Did not I intercede for thee in a time of evil, And in a time of adversity, with the enemy?

12 & lt;Има ли> желязо, <което> може да счупи северното желязо и медта?

Doth one break iron -- northern iron, and brass?

13 И мотът ти и съкровищата ти ще предам на разграбване без замяна, и по всичките твои предели, И то поради всичките ти грехове.

Thy strength and thy treasures For a prey I do give -- not for price, Even for all thy sins, and in all thy borders.

14 И ще <те> отведа с неприятелите ти В страна, която не знаеш; Защото се запали огънят на гнева Ми, И ще гори върху вас.

And I have caused thine enemies To pass over into the land -- Thou hast not known, For a fire hath been kindled in Mine anger, Against you it doth burn.

15 Т и, Господи, познаваш <делото ми> спомни си за мене; Посети ме и отплати за мене на гонителите ми; В дълготърпението Си не ме отнимай. Знай, че заради Тебе претърпях укор.

Thou, Thou hast known, O Jehovah, Remember me, and inspect me, And take vengeance for me of my pursuers, In Thy long-suffering take me not away, Know -- I have borne for Thee reproach.

16 К ато намерих Твоите думи изядох ги, И Твоето слово ми беше радост и веселие на сърцето; Защото се наричам с Твоето име, Господи Боже на Силите.

Thy words have been found, and I eat them, And Thy word is to me for a joy, And for the rejoicing of my heart, For Thy name is called on me, O Jehovah, God of Hosts.

17 Н е седях в събрание на веселящите се, Нито се радвах <с тях>; Седях сам поради ръката Ти, Защото Ти ме изпълни с негодувание.

I have not sat in an assembly of deriders, Nor do I exult, because of thy hand, -- Alone I have sat, For indignation Thou hast filled me.

18 З ащо е постоянна болката ми, И раната ми тъй тежка щото не приема изцеление? Ще ми станеш ли като измамлив <поток>, Като непостоянни води?

Why hath my pain been perpetual? And my wound incurable? It hath refused to be healed, Thou art surely to me as a failing stream, Waters not stedfast.

19 З атова, така казва Господ: Ако се върнеш <от тоя си ум>, тогава пак ще те възстановя, За да стоиш пред Мене; И ако отделиш скъпоценното от нищожното, Тогава ще <те направя да> бъдеш като Моите уста. Те нека се обърнат към тебе, Но ти не се обръщай към тях.

Therefore, thus said Jehovah: If thou turnest back, then I bring thee back, Before Me thou dost stand, And if thou bringest out the precious from the vile, As My mouth thou art! They -- they turn back unto thee, And thou dost not turn back unto them.

20 И ще те направя срещу тия люде яка медна стена; Те ще воюват против тебе, но няма да ти надвият, Защото Аз съм с тебе, за да те избавям И да те отървавам, казва Господ.

And I have made thee to this people For a wall -- brazen -- fenced, And they have fought against thee, And they do not prevail against thee, For with thee I to save thee, And to deliver thee -- an affirmation of Jehovah,

21 Щ е те отърва от ръката на нечестивите, И ще те изкупя от ръката на насилниците.

And I have delivered thee from the hand of evil doers, And I have ransomed thee From the hand of the terrible!
