1 В дните на Сенаарския цар Амарфал, Еласарският цар Ариох, Еламският цар Ходологомор и Гоимският цар Тидал,

And it cometh to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goyim,

2 т ия <царе> отвориха война против Содомския цар Вера, Гоморския цар Верса, Адманския цар Сенав, Цевоимския цар Симовор и царя на Вала, (която е Сигор).

they have made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela, which Zoar.

3 В сички тия се събраха в Сидимската долина (дето е <сега> Соленото Море).

All these have been joined together unto the valley of Siddim, which the Salt Sea;

4 Д ванадесет години бяха се подчинявали на Ходологомора, а в тринадесетата въстанаха.

twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and the thirteenth year they rebelled.

5 В четиринадесетата година дойдоха Ходологомор и царете, които бяха с него, та поразиха рафаимите в Астарот-карнаим, зузимите в Хам, емимите в Сави-кириатаим

And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings who with him, and they smite the Rephaim in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzim in Ham, and the Emim in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

6 и хорейците в поляната им Сиир, до Елфаран, който е при пустинята.

and the Horites in their mount Seir, unto El-Paran, which by the wilderness;

7 А като се върнаха, дойдоха в Ен-мишнат, (който е Кадис), и поразиха цялата страна на амаликитяните, както и амореите, които живееха в Асасон-тамар.

and they turn back and come in unto En-Mishpat, which Kadesh, and smite the whole field of the Amalekite, and also the Amorite who is dwelling in Hazezon-Tamar.

8 Т огава Содомският цар, Гоморският цар, Адманският цар, Цевоимският цар и царят на Вала, (която е Сигор), излязоха и се опълчиха против тях на бой в Сидимската долина:

And the king of Sodom goeth out, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela, which Zoar; and they set the battle in array with them in the valley of Siddim,

9 п ротив Еламския цар Ходологомор, Гоимския цар Тидал, Сенаарския цар Амарфал и Еласарския цар Ариох. <Имаше> четирима царе против петимата.

with Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goyim, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with the five.

10 А Сидимската долина беше пълна със смолни кладенци; и Содомският и Гоморският царе, като бягаха, паднаха в тях, а останалите избягаха на бърдото.

And the valley of Siddim full of bitumen-pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah flee, and fall there, and those left have fled to the mountain.

11 И <победителите> задигнаха всичкия имот на Содома и Гомора и всичката им храна и си отидоха.

And they take the whole substance of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the whole of their food, and go away;

12 В зеха и Аврамовия братанец Лот, който живееше в Содом, заедно с имота му и си отидоха.

and they take Lot, Abram's brother's son (seeing he is dwelling in Sodom), and his substance, and go away.

13 А един от избавилите се дойде и извести <това> на евреина Аврам; той живееше при дъбовете на Амореца Мамврий, брат на Есхола и брат на Анера, които бяха Аврамови съюзници.

And one who is escaping cometh and declareth to Abram the Hebrew, and he is dwelling among the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner, and they Abram's allies.

14 А като чу Аврам, че брат му бил пленен, изведе своите триста и осемнадесет обучени мъже, родени в неговия дом и гони <неприятелите> до Дан.

And Abram heareth that his brother hath been taken captive, and he draweth out his trained domestics, three hundred and eighteen, and pursueth unto Dan.

15 И през нощта, той и слугите му, като се разделиха против тях, поразиха ги и ги гониха до Хова, която е от ляво на Дамаск.

And he divideth himself against them by night, he and his servants, and smiteth them, and pursueth them unto Hobah, which at the left of Damascus;

16 И възвърна всичкия имот, върна и брата си Лота с имота му, както и жените и людете.

and he bringeth back the whole of the substance, and also Lot his brother and his substance hath he brought back, and also the women and the people.

17 И като се върна <Аврам> от поражението на Ходологомора и на царете, които бяха с него, Содомският цар излезе да го посрещне в Савинската долина, (която е Царевата долина).

And the king of Sodom goeth out to meet him (after his turning back from the smiting of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings who with him), unto the valley of Shaveh, which the king's valley.

18 Т ака и Салимският цар Мелхиседек, който беше свещеник на Всевишния Бог, изнесе хляб и вино

And Melchizedek king of Salem hath brought out bread and wine, and he priest of God Most High;

19 т а го благослови, казвайки: Благословен да бъде Аврам от Всевишния Бог, Създател на небето и на земята;

and he blesseth him, and saith, `Blessed Abram to God Most High, possessing heaven and earth;

20 б лагословен и Всевишният Бог, който предаде неприятелите ти в твоята ръка. И <Аврам> му даде десетък от всичко.

and blessed God Most High, who hath delivered thine adversaries into thy hand;' and he giveth to him a tenth of all.

21 А Содомският цар рече на Аврама: Дай ми човеците, а имота задръж за себе си.

And the king of Sodom saith unto Abram, `Give to me the persons, and the substance take to thyself,'

22 Н о Аврам каза на Содомския цар: Аз дигнах ръката си пред Господа, Всевишния Бог, Създател на небето и на земята,

and Abram saith unto the king of Sodom, `I have lifted up my hand unto Jehovah, God Most High, possessing heaven and earth --

23 и <се заклех>, че няма да взема нищо от твоето, ни конец ни ремик за обуща, да не би да речеш: Аз обогатих Аврама.

from a thread even unto a shoe-latchet I take not of anything which thou hast, that thou say not, I -- I have made Abram rich;

24 & lt;Приемам> само онова, което изядоха момците; и дела на мъжете които отидоха с мене: Анер, Есхол и Мамври - те нека вземат дела си.

save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who have gone with me -- Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre -- they take their portion.'
