1 К ато почнаха човеците да се размножават по лицето на земята и им се раждаха дъщери,

And it cometh to pass that mankind have begun to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters have been born to them,

2 Б ожите синове, като гледаха, че човешките дъщери бяха красиви, вземаха си за жени от всички, които избираха.

and sons of God see the daughters of men that they fair, and they take to themselves women of all whom they have chosen.

3 И тогава рече Господ: Духът който съм му дал не ще владее вечно в човека; в блуждаенето си той е плът; затова дните му ще бъдат сто и двадесет години.

And Jehovah saith, `My Spirit doth not strive in man -- to the age; in their erring they flesh:' and his days have been an hundred and twenty years.

4 В ония дни се намираха исполините на земята; а при това, след като Божиите синове влизаха при човешките дъщери, и те им раждаха синове, тези бяха ония силни и прочути старовременни мъже.

The fallen ones were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when sons of God come in unto daughters of men, and they have borne to them -- they the heroes, who, from of old, the men of name.

5 И като видя Господ, че се умножава нечестието на човека по земята и, че всичко, което мислите на сърцето му въображяваха, беше постоянно само зло,

And Jehovah seeth that abundant the wickedness of man in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart only evil all the day;

6 р азкая се Господ, че беше направил човека на земята, и огорчи се в сърцето Си.

and Jehovah repenteth that He hath made man in the earth, and He grieveth Himself -- unto His heart.

7 И рече Господ: Ще изтребя от лицето на земята човека, когото създадох, - човеци, зверове, влечуги и въздушни птици, - понеже се разкаях, че ги създадох.

And Jehovah saith, `I wipe away man whom I have prepared from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast, unto creeping thing, and unto fowl of the heavens, for I have repented that I have made them.'

8 А Ной придоби Господното благоволение.

And Noah found grace in the eyes of Jehovah.

9 Е то Ноевото потомство. Ной беше човек праведен, непорочен между съвременниците си; той ходеше по Бога.

These births of Noah: Noah a righteous man; perfect he hath been among his generations; with God hath Noah walked habitually.

10 И Ной роди три сина: Сима, Хама и Яфета.

And Noah begetteth three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 И земята се разврати пред Бога; земята се изпълни с насилие.

And the earth is corrupt before God, and the earth is filled violence.

12 И Бог видя земята; и, ето, <тя> бе развратена защото всяка твар се обхождаше развратно на земята.

And God seeth the earth, and lo, it hath been corrupted, for all flesh hath corrupted its way on the earth.

13 И рече Бог на Ноя: Краят на всяка твар се предвижда от Мене, защото земята се изпълни с насилие чрез тях; затова, ето, ще ги изтребя заедно със земята.

And God said to Noah, `An end of all flesh hath come before Me, for the earth hath been full of violence from their presence; and lo, I am destroying them with the earth.

14 Н аправи си ковчег от гоферово дърво; стаи да направиш в ковчега; и да го измажеш отвътре и отвън със смола.

`Make for thyself an ark of gopher-wood; rooms dost thou make with the ark, and thou hast covered it within and without with cypress;

15 Н аправи го така: дължината на ковчега <да бъде> триста лакти, широчината му петдесет лакти, а височината му тридесет лакти.

and this that which thou dost with it: three hundred cubits the length of the ark, fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height;

16 П розорец направи на ковчега, като изкараш ковчега без един лакът до върха, а вратата на ковчега постави отстрана; направи го с долен, среден и горен етаж.

a window dost thou make for the ark, and unto a cubit thou dost restrain it from above; and the opening of the ark thou dost put in its side, -- lower, second, and third dost thou make it.

17 И , ето, Аз ще докарам на земята потоп от вода, за да изтребя под небето всяка твар, която има в себе си жизнено дихание; всичко що се намира на земята ще измре.

`And I, lo, I am bringing in the deluge of waters on the earth to destroy all flesh, in which a living spirit, from under the heavens; all that in the earth doth expire.

18 Н о с тебе ще поставя завета Си; и ще влезеш в ковчега ти, синовете ти, жена ти и снахите ти с тебе.

`And I have established My covenant with thee, and thou hast come in unto the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy son's wives with thee;

19 И от всичко, от всякакъв вид твар, която живее, да вкараш в ковчега по две от всеки вид, за да опазиш живота им със себе си; мъжко и женско да бъдат.

and of all that liveth, of all flesh, two of every thou dost bring in unto the ark, to keep alive with thee; male and female are they.

20 О т птиците според вида им, от добитъка според вида му, и от всички земни животни според вида им, по две от всички да влязат при тебе, за да им опазиш живота.

Of the fowl after its kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every they come in unto thee, to keep alive.

21 А ти си вземи от всякаква храна, която се яде, и събери я при себе си, та да послужи за храна на тебе и на тях.

`And thou, take to thyself of all food that is eaten; and thou hast gathered unto thyself, and it hath been to thee and to them for food.'

22 И Ной извърши всичко според както му заповяда Бог; така стори.

And Noah doth according to all that God hath commanded him; so hath he done.
