1 П ак Господното слово дойде към мене и рече:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

2 И ти сине човешки, дигни плач за Тир, и кажи на Тир:

`And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre:

3 Т и, който седиш при входа на морето, който търгуваш с народите в много острови, така казва Господ Иеова: Тире, ти си рекъл: Аз съм съвършен по хубост.

O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples unto many isles, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou -- thou hast said: I the perfection of beauty.

4 П ределите ти са всред моретата; ония, които те съградиха, направиха съвършена хубостта ти.

In the heart of the seas thy borders, Thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

5 Н аправиха всичките дъски <на корабите> ти от санирски елхи; взеха кедри от Ливан за да ти направят мачти.

Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee,

6 Н аправиха веслата ти от васански дъбове; направиха седалищата ти от слонова кост и букс от китайските {Печатна грешка в изданието от 1940 г., в други издания - китимските.} острови.

Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim.

7 О т висон с везана работа от Египет беше платното ти, за да ти служи за знаме; синьо и мораво, от островите на Елиса, бе покрова ти.

Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt hath been thy sail, To be to thee for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah hath been thy covering.

8 Ж ителите на Сидон и на Арвад бяха твоите веслари; твоите мъдри, които бяха в тебе, Тире, бяха кормчиите ти.

Inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad have been rowers to thee, Thy wise men, O Tyre, have been in thee, They thy pilots.

9 С тарейшините на Гевал и мъдрите му насмоляваха в тебе <корабите ти>; всичките морски кораби и моряците им бяха в тебе за да вършат търговията ти.

Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade thy merchandise.

10 П ерсийци, лидийци и ливийци бяха твоите войници, твоите военни мъже; в тебе окачваха щитове и шлемове; те ти придаваха великолепие.

Persian and Lud and Phut Have been in thy forces -- thy men of war. Shield and helmet they hung up in thee, They -- they have given out thine honour.

11 А рвадските мъже с войската ти бяха изоколо на стените ти, адгамадците на кулите ти; окачваха щитовете си изоколо на стените ти; те направиха съвършена хубостта ти.

The sons of Arvad, and thy force, on thy walls round about, And short swordsmen in thy towers have been, Their shields they have hung up on thy walls round about, They -- they have perfected thy beauty.

12 Т арсис търгуваше с тебе с изобилие от всякакво богатство; със сребро, желязо, калай и олово търгуваха за твоите стоки.

Tarshish thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants.

13 Я ван, Тувал и Мосох търгуваха с тебе; за твоите стоки разменяха човешки души и медни съдове.

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech -- they thy merchants, For persons of men, and vessels of brass, They have given out thy merchandise.

14 О ния от дома Тогарма търгуваха за стоките ти с коне, военни коне и мъски.

They of the house of Togarmah, horses, and riding steeds, and mules, They have given out thy remnants.

15 Д еданските мъже търгуваха с тебе; търговията на много острови бе в ръката ти: докарваха ти в размяна слонова кост и ебен.

Sons of Dedan thy merchants, Many isles the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward.

16 С ирия търгуваше с тебе поради многото ти изделия; даваше за стоките ти антракс и мораво, везано и висон, корали и рубини.

Aram thy merchant, Because of the abundance of thy works, For emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate, They have given out thy remnants.

17 Ю да и Израилевата земя търгуваха с тебе; даваха за стоките ти менитско жито, сухари и мед, масло и балсама.

Judah and the land of Israel -- they thy merchants, For wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm, They have given out thy merchandise.

18 Д амаск търгуваше с тебе поради многото ти изделия, с изобилие от всяко богатство, с хелвонско вино и с бяла вълна.

Damascus thy merchant, For the abundance of thy works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool.

19 В едан и Яван даваха прежда за стоките ти. Изработено желязо, касия и <благоуханна> тръстика бяха между стоките ти.

Vedan and Javan go about with thy remnants, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, In thy merchandise it hath been.

20 Д едан търгуваше с тебе със скъпи платове за колесници.

Dedan thy merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding.

21 А равия и всичките кидарски първенци бяха търговци в тебе, и търгуваха с тебе с агнета, овци и козли.

Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They the traders of thy hand, For lambs, and rams, and he-goats, In these thy merchants.

22 Т ърговците на Шева и на Раама търгуваха с тебе, и даваха за стоките ти всякакво изрядно благоухание, всякакви скъпоценни камъни и злато.

Merchants of Sheba and Raamah -- they thy merchants, For the chief of all spices, And for every precious stone, and gold, They have given out thy remnants.

23 Х аран, Хане и Еден, търговците на Шева, Асур и Хилмад търгуваха с тебе.

Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur -- Chilmad -- thy merchants,

24 Т ия търгуваха с тебе с отбрани стоки, с бали от синя и везана изработка, и с ковчези богати облекла, вързани с въжа и направени от кедър. <Тия бяха> между търговците ти.

They thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise,

25 Т арсийските кораби обикаляха с търговията ти; и ти стана пълен и бе твърде славен всред моретата.

Ships of Tarshish thy double walls of thy merchandise, And thou art filled and honoured greatly, In the heart of the seas.

26 Т воите веслари те заведоха в големи води; но източният вятър те разби всред моретата.

Into great waters have they brought thee, Those rowing thee, The east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.

27 Б огатството ти и стоките ти, търговията ти и моряците ти, кормчиите ти и които насмоляваха <корабите> ти, разменителите на стоките ти и всичките военни мъже, които са в тебе, с всичкото множество, което е всред тебе, ще паднат всред моретата в деня на погибелта ти.

Thy wealth and thy remnants, Thy merchandise, thy mariners, And thy pilots, strengtheners of thy breach, And the traders of thy merchandise, And all thy men of war, who in thee, And in all thine assembly that in thy midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy fall,

28 П редместията ще се потресат от гласа на писъка на твоите кормчии.

At the voice of the cry of thy pilots shake do the suburbs.

29 И всичките веслари, моряците и всичките морски кормчии ще слязат из корабите си, ще застанат на земята,

And come down from their ships have all handling an oar, Mariners, all the pilots of the sea, on the land they stand,

30 и ще извикат с глас над тебе, ще писнат горко, ще посипят пръст на главите си, и ще се валят в пепелта;

And have sounded for thee with their voice, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, In ashes they do roll themselves.

31 щ е оплешивеят съвсем поради тебе, ще се опашат с вретище, и ще плачат за тебе с душевна горест, с горчиво ридание.

And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul -- a bitter mourning.

32 И в риданието си ще дигнат плач за тебе, и като плачат за тебе ще рекат: Кой е бил като Тир, който загина всред морето?

And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?

33 К огато стоките ти излизаха из моретата, ти насищаше много племена; с голямото си богатство и търговия, ти обогатяваше земните царе.

With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth.

34 С ега като си разбит в моретата, в дълбочината на водите, търговията ти и всичкото ти множество паднаха всред тебе.

The time of being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Thy merchandise and all thy assembly in thy midst have fallen.

35 В сичките жители на островите се удивиха за тебе, и царете им ужасно се уплашиха; лицата им побледняха от страх.

All inhabitants of the isles have been astonished at thee, And their kings have been sore afraid, They have been troubled in countenance.

36 Т ърговците между племената подсвирнаха поради тебе; ужас си станал, и не ще те има до века.

Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not -- to the age!'
