1 Н а Йосифовите потомци се падна по жребий земята от Йордан при Йерихон и йерихонските води на изток в пустинята, земята, която се простира от Йерихон през хълмистата страна до Ветил.

And the lot for the sons of Joseph goeth out from Jordan Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

2 Г раницата вървеше от Ветил до Луз, минаваше през околността на Архиатарот,

and hath gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over unto the border of Archi Ataroth,

3 с лизаше на запад в околността на Яфлети до околността на долния Веторон и до Гезер и свършваше при морето.

and gone down westward unto the border of Japhleti, unto the border of Beth-Horon the lower, and unto Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

4 Т ака Йосифовите потомци, племената на Манасия и Ефрем, получиха наследството си.

And the sons of Joseph -- Manasseh and Ephraim -- inherit.

5 Т ериторията на Ефремовите синове според семействата им беше: границата на наследството им на изток беше Атарот-адар до горния Веторон;

And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar unto Beth-Horon the upper;

6 н а север от Михметат границата минаваше на запад и завиваше на изток до Танат-сило, а оттам преминаваше на изток от Янох;

and the border hath gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border hath gone round eastward Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

7 п осле слизаше от Янох до Атарот и до Наарат и достигаше до Йерихон, като свършваше при Йордан.

and gone down from Janohah Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

8 О т Тапфуа границата отиваше на запад до потока Кана и свършваше при морето. Това е наследството на племето на Ефремовите синове според семействата им.

From Tappuah the border goeth westward unto the brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

9 И маше и градове, отделени за Ефремовите синове, в наследството на Манасиевите синове - всички тези градове заедно със селата им.

And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

10 Н о те не изгониха ханаанците, които живееха в Гезер. Ханаанците живееха между Ефремовите синове, както живеят и до днес - като подчинени поданици.

and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwelleth in the midst of Ephraim unto this day, and is to tribute -- a servant.
