1 И видях звяр, който излизаше от морето и имаше десет рога и седем глави; и на роговете му десет корони, а на главите му богохулни имена.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw out of the sea a beast coming up, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns ten diadems, and upon its heads a name of evil speaking,

2 З вярът, който видях, приличаше на леопард, а краката му бяха като крака на мечка, устата му като уста на лъв; и змеят му даде силата си, престола си и голяма власт.

and the beast that I saw was like to a leopard, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as the mouth of a lion, and the dragon did give to it his power, and his throne, and great authority.

3 И видях една от главите му като че ли смъртно ранена; но смъртоносната му рана оздравя; и цялата земя удивена отиде след звяра и се поклониха на змея, защото даде властта си на звяра;

And I saw one of its heads as slain to death, and its deadly stroke was healed, and all the earth did wonder after the beast,

4 п оклониха се и на звяра, като казваха: Кой е като този звяр и кой може да воюва против него?

and they did bow before the dragon who did give authority to the beast, and they did bow before the beast, saying, `Who like to the beast? who is able to war with it?'

5 И даде му се уста да говори горделиво и богохулно; дадена му бе още власт да действа четиридесет и два месеца.

And there was given to it a mouth speaking great things, and evil-speakings, and there was given to it authority to make war forty-two months,

6 Т ой отвори устата си да изрече хули против Бога, да хули името Му и скинията Му и онези, които живеят на небесата.

and it did open its mouth for evil-speaking toward God, to speak evil of His name, and of His tabernacle, and of those who in the heaven tabernacle,

7 И му бе позволено да воюва против светиите и да ги победи; и му бе дадена власт над всеки род и народ, език и племе.

and there was given to it to make war with the saints, and to overcome them, and there was given to it authority over every tribe, and tongue, and nation.

8 И ще му се поклонят всички, които живеят на земята, всеки, чието име не е било записано в книгата на живота на Агнеца, заклан от създаването на света.

And bow before it shall all who are dwelling upon the land, whose names have not been written in the scroll of the life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world;

9 А ко има човек ухо, нека слуша.

if any one hath an ear -- let him hear:

10 А ко някой откарва в плен, и той в плен ще отиде; ако някой убива с меч, и той трябва да бъде убит с меч. Тук са нужни търпението и вярата на светиите. Втори звяр от земята. Печатът на антихриста

if any one a captivity doth gather, into captivity he doth go away; if any one by sword doth kill, it behoveth him by sword to be killed; here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

11 И видях друг звяр, който излизаше от земята; и имаше два рога, като агнешки, а говореше като змей.

And I saw another beast coming up out of the land, and it had two horns, like a lamb, and it was speaking as a dragon,

12 Т ой упражняваше цялата власт на първия звяр в неговото присъствие и принуди земята и живеещите на нея да се поклонят на първия звяр, чиято смъртоносна рана беше оздравяла.

and all the authority of the first beast doth it do before it, and it maketh the land and those dwelling in it that they shall bow before the first beast, whose deadly stroke was healed,

13 И вършеше големи знамения, дори предизвика и огън да слиза от небето на земята пред човеците.

and it doth great signs, that fire also it may make to come down from the heaven to the earth before men,

14 Т ой мамеше живеещите на земята чрез знаменията, които му беше позволено да извърши пред звяра, като казваше на живеещите на земята да направят образ на звяра, който беше ранен от меча и оздравя.

and it leadeth astray those dwelling on the land, because of the signs that were given it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling upon the land to make an image to the beast that hath the stroke of the sword and did live,

15 И му бе позволено да вложи дихание в образа на звяра, така че образът на звяра да проговори; също и да направи да бъдат избити онези, които не се покланят на образа на звяра.

and there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, that also the image of the beast may speak, and it may cause as many as shall not bow before the image of the beast, that they may be killed.

16 И принуждаваше всички, малки и големи, богати и сиромаси, свободни и роби, да им бъде сложен белег на десницата или на челата им,

And it maketh all, the small, and the great, and the rich, and the poor, and the freemen, and the servants, that it may give to them a mark upon their right hand or upon their foreheads,

17 з а да не може никой да купува или да продава освен онзи, който носи за белег името на звяра или числото на неговото име.

and that no one may be able to buy, or to sell, except he who is having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Т ук е нужна мъдрост; който е разумен, нека сметне числото на звяра, защото е число на човек; а числото му е шестстотин шестдесет и шест.

Here is the wisdom! He who is having the understanding, let him count the number of the beast, for the number of a man it is, and its number 666.
