1 С ъбери се в дружини, ти, господарко на дружини; обсада се държи против нас; с тояга ще поразят съдията на Израел в челюстта. Бъдещият Месия и Неговото царство

Now gather thyself together, O daughter of troops, A siege he hath laid against us, With a rod they smite on the cheek the judge of Israel.

2 А ти, Витлеем Ефратов, макар и да си малък, за да бъдеш между Юдовите родове, от тебе ще излезе за Мен Един, Който ще бъде владетел в Израел, Чийто произход е от начало, от вечността.

And thou, Beth-Lehem Ephratah, Little to be among the chiefs of Judah! From thee to Me he cometh forth -- to be ruler in Israel, And his comings forth of old, From the days of antiquity.

3 З атова ще ги остави до времето, когато раждащата ще роди; тогава останалите от братята Му ще се върнат с израелтяните.

Therefore he doth give them out till the time She who bringeth forth hath brought forth, And the remnant of his brethren return to the sons of Israel.

4 И Той ще стои и ще пасе стадото Си чрез силата Господня, чрез великото име на Господа, Своя Бог; и те ще се настанят; защото сега Той ще бъде велик до краищата на земята.

And he hath stood and delighted in the strength of Jehovah, In the excellency of the name of Jehovah his God, And they have remained, For now he is great unto the ends of earth.

5 И Той ще бъде нашият мир. Когато асириецът дойде в земята ни и когато стъпи в палатите ни, тогава ще повдигнем против него седем пастири и осем човека, които управляват,

And this hath been peace, Asshur! when he doth come into our land, And when he doth tread in our palaces, We have raised against him seven shepherds, And eight anointed of man.

6 к оито ще опустошат Асирийската земя с меч и земята на Нимрод при входовете ѝ; и Той ще ни избави от асириеца, когато дойде в земята ни и когато стъпи вътре в границата ни.

And they have afflicted the land of Asshur with the sword, And the land of Nimrod at its openings, And he hath delivered from Asshur when he doth come into our land, And when he treadeth in our borders.

7 А останалите от Яков ще бъдат сред много племена като роса от Господа, като леки дъждове на тревата, които не чакат човека, нито се бавят за човешките деца.

And the remnant of Jacob hath been in the midst of many peoples, As dew from Jehovah -- as showers on the herb, That waiteth not for man, nor stayeth for the sons of men.

8 А останалите от Яков ще бъдат между народите, сред много племена, като лъв между горските животни, като млад лъв между стада овце, който, като минава, тъпче и разкъсва, без да има кой да избавя.

Yea, the remnant of Jacob hath been among nations, In the midst of many peoples, As a lion among beasts of a forest, As a young lion among ranks of a flock, Which if it hath passed through, Hath both trodden down and hath torn, And there is no deliverer.

9 Р ъката ти ще се издигне над противниците ти и всичките ти неприятели ще бъдат изтребени.

High is thy hand above thine adversaries, And all thine enemies are cut off.

10 В онзи ден, казва Господ, ще изтребя конете ти измежду теб и ще погубя колесниците ти;

And it hath come to pass in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah, I have cut off thy horses from thy midst, And I have destroyed thy chariots,

11 щ е изтребя и градовете на твоята земя и ще съборя всичките ти крепости;

And I have cut off the cities of thy land, And I have thrown down all thy fortresses,

12 щ е изтребя магиите от ръката ти; и няма да имаш вече гадатели по облаци;

And have cut off sorcerers out of thy hand, And observers of clouds thou hast none.

13 щ е изтребя идолите ти и жертвените стълбове сред теб и няма да се кланяш вече на делото на ръцете си;

And I have cut off thy graven images, And thy standing-pillars out of thy midst, And thou dost not bow thyself any more To the work of thy hands.

14 щ е изкореня ашерите ти сред теб и ще съсипя градовете ти;

And I have plucked up thy shrines out of thy midst, And I have destroyed thine enemies.

15 и ще извърша възмездие с гняв и ярост върху народите, които не Ме послушаха.

And I have done vengeance in anger and in fury, With the nations who have not hearkened!
