1 Т огава Господ каза на Моисей:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 З аповядай на израелтяните да завият и да се разположат на стан пред Пиаирот, между Мигодол и морето; срещу Веелсефон ще се разположите на стан близо до морето.

`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and they turn back and encamp before Pi-Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, before Baal-Zephon; over-against it ye do encamp by the sea,

3 З ащото фараонът ще каже за израелтяните: Те са се изгубили в земята; пустинята ги е затворила.

and Pharaoh hath said of the sons of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut upon them;

4 И Аз ще закоравя сърцето на фараона и той ще започне да ги преследва; но Аз ще се прославя над фараона и над цялата му войска и египтяните ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ. И израелтяните направиха така.

and I have strengthened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hath pursued after them, and I am honoured on Pharaoh, and on all his force, and the Egyptians have known that I Jehovah;' and they do so.

5 А когато египетският цар получи известие, че народът е побегнал, сърцето на фараона и служителите му се обърна против този народ и казаха: Какво е това, което направихме, че пуснахме Израел да не ни работи вече?

And it is declared to the king of Egypt that the people hath fled, and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants is turned against the people, and they say, `What this we have done? that we have sent Israel away from our service.'

6 З атова фараонът впрегна колесницата си и събра войската си при себе си;

And he harnesseth his chariot, and his people he hath taken with him,

7 в зе и шестстотин бойни колесници, както и всички египетски колесници, с началници над всичките.

and he taketh six hundred chosen chariots, even all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over them all;

8 И Господ закорави сърцето на египетския цар фараон, така че той преследваше израелтяните (защото израелтяните бяха излезли с дръзновение оттам ),

and Jehovah strengtheneth the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursueth after the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel are going out with a high hand,

9 и египтяните се спуснаха след тях - всички коне и колесници на фараона, конниците му и войската му, и ги настигнаха, разположени на стан близо до морето, пред Пиаирот, срещу Веелсефон.

and the Egyptians pursue after them, and all the chariot horses of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his force, overtake them, encamping by the sea, by Pi-Hahiroth, before Baal-Zephon.

10 А когато фараонът се приближи, израелтяните видяха, че египтяните идваха след тях; и израелтяните се уплашиха много и извикаха към Господа.

And Pharaoh hath drawn near, and the sons of Israel lift up their eyes, and lo, the Egyptians are journeying after them, and they fear exceedingly, and the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah.

11 Т е казаха на Моисей: Понеже нямаше гробища в Египет, затова ли ни изведе да умрем в пустинята? Защо постъпи така, че ни изведе от Египет?

And they say unto Moses, `Because there are no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in a wilderness? what is this thou hast done to us -- to bring us out from Egypt?

12 Н е ти ли казвахме същото в Египет: Остави ни; нека работим на египтяните? Защото по-добре би било за нас да работим на египтяните, отколкото да измрем в пустинята.

Is not this the word which we spake unto thee in Egypt, saying, Cease from us, and we serve the Egyptians; for better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in a wilderness?'

13 А Моисей отвърна на народа: Не се бойте; стойте и гледайте избавлението, което Господ ще извърши за вас днес; защото египтяните, които видяхте днес, ще изчезнат от погледа ви до века.

And Moses saith unto the people, `Fear not, station yourselves, and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He doth for you to-day; for, as ye have seen the Egyptians to-day, ye add no more to see them -- to the age;

14 Г оспод ще воюва за вас, а вие бъдете спокойни.

Jehovah doth fight for you, and ye keep silent.'

15 Т огава Господ каза на Моисей: Защо викаш към Мене? Кажи на израелтяните да вървят напред.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `What? thou criest unto Me -- speak unto the sons of Israel, and they journey;

16 А ти вдигни жезъла си и простри ръката си над морето, и го раздели, и израелтяните ще преминат през морето по сухо.

and thou, lift up thy rod, and stretch out thy hand towards the sea, and cleave it, and the sons of Israel go into the midst of the sea on dry land.

17 И Аз ще закоравя сърцето на египтяните и ще влязат в морето след тях; и ще се прославя над фараона, над цялата му войска, над колесниците му и над конниците му.

`And I -- lo, I am strengthening the heart of the Egyptians, and they go in after them, and I am honoured on Pharaoh, and on all his force, on his chariots, and on his horsemen;

18 И когато се прославя над фараона, над колесниците му и над конниците му, египтяните ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.

and the Egyptians have known that I Jehovah, in My being honoured on Pharaoh, on his chariots, and on his horsemen.'

19 Т огава ангелът Божий, който вървеше пред Израелевото множество, се вдигна и дойде зад тях; облачният стълб пред тях се вдигна и застана зад тях,

And the messenger of God, who is going before the camp of Israel, journeyeth and goeth at their rear; and the pillar of the cloud journeyeth from their front, and standeth at their rear,

20 и дойде между Египетското и Израелевото множество; за едните беше тъмен облак, а на другите светеше през нощта, така че едните не се приближиха до другите през цялата нощ.

and cometh in between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel, and the cloud and the darkness are, and he enlighteneth the night, and the one hath not drawn near unto the other all the night.

21 И така, Моисей протегна ръката си над морето; и Господ предизвика оттеглянето на морето цялата онази нощ от силен източен вятър и в морето се яви суша, и водите се раздвоиха.

And Moses stretcheth out his hand towards the sea, and Jehovah causeth the sea to go on by a strong east wind all the night, and maketh the sea become dry ground, and the waters are cleaved,

22 Т ака израелтяните влязоха сред морето по сухо; и водите бяха за тях преграда от дясната и от лявата им страна.

and the sons of Israel go into the midst of the sea, on dry land, and the waters to them a wall, on their right and on their left.

23 А египтяните, всички коне на фараона, колесниците и конниците му - като ги подгониха, влязоха след тях сред морето.

And the Egyptians pursue, and go in after them (all the horses of Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen) unto the midst of the sea,

24 Н о в утринната стража Господ погледна от огнения и облачния стълб към египетската войска и смути войската на египтяните;

and it cometh to pass, in the morning watch, that Jehovah looketh unto the camp of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubleth the camp of the Egyptians,

25 Т ой извади колелата от колесниците им и те се теглеха мъчно, така че египтяните казаха: Да бягаме от Израел, защото Йехова воюва за тях против египтяните.

and turneth aside the wheels of their chariots, and they lead them with difficulty, and the Egyptians say, `Let us flee from the face of Israel, for Jehovah is fighting for them against the Egyptians.'

26 Т огава Господ каза на Моисей: Протегни ръката си над морето, за да се върнат водите върху египтяните, върху колесниците им и върху конниците им.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Stretch out thy hand toward the sea, and the waters turn back on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.'

27 И така, Моисей протегна ръката си над морето и призори морето се върна на мястото си; а като бягаха египтяните пред него, Господ помете египтяните сред морето.

And Moses stretcheth out his hand towards the sea, and the sea turneth back, at the turning of the morning, to its perennial flow, and the Egyptians are fleeing at its coming, and Jehovah shaketh off the Egyptians in the midst of the sea,

28 З ащото водите се върнаха на мястото си и покриха колесниците, конниците и цялата фараонова войска, която беше влязла след тях в морето; не остана нито един войник от тях.

and the waters turn back, and cover the chariots and the horsemen, even all the force of Pharaoh, who are coming in after them into the sea -- there hath not been left of them even one.

29 А израелтяните минаха през морето по сухо; и водите бяха за тях преграда от дясната и от лявата им страна.

And the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters to them a wall, on their right and on their left;

30 Т ака в онзи ден Господ избави Израел от ръката на египтяните; и израелтяните видяха египтяните мъртви по морския бряг.

and Jehovah saveth Israel in that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel seeth the Egyptians dead on the sea-shore,

31 И зраел видя онова велико дело, което Господ извърши над египтяните; и народът се уплаши от Господа и повярваха в Господа и на слугата Му Моисей.

and Israel seeth the great hand with which Jehovah hath wrought against the Egyptians, and the people fear Jehovah, and remain stedfast in Jehovah, and in Moses His servant.
