1 В ие сте синове на Господа, вашия Бог; да не правите по тялото си нарязвания, нито да се бръснете между очите си заради мъртвец.

`Sons ye to Jehovah your God; ye do not cut yourselves, nor make baldness between your eyes for the dead;

2 З ащото сте народ, свят на Господа, вашия Бог, и вас избра Господ измежду всички племена, които са по лицето на земята, за да бъдете Негов народ.

for a holy people thou to Jehovah thy God, and on thee hath Jehovah fixed to be to Him for a people, a peculiar treasure, out of all the peoples who on the face of the ground.

3 Д а не ядеш нищо нечисто.

`Thou dost not eat any abominable thing;

4 Е то животните, които може да ядете: говедото, овцата и козата,

`this the beast which ye do eat: ox, lamb of the sheep, or kid of the goats,

5 е лена, газелата, бивола, дивата коза, кошутата, антилопата и планинската овца.

hart, and roe, and fallow deer, and wild goat, and pygarg, and wild ox, and chamois;

6 В сяко животно от четирикраките, което има раздвоен крак и разцепено на два нокътя копито и което преживя, тях да ядете.

and every beast dividing the hoof, and cleaving the cleft into two hoofs, bringing up the cud, among the beasts -- it ye do eat.

7 Н о да не ядете от онези, които само преживят или които само имат раздвоено и разцепено копито, като камилата, заека и язовеца; понеже те преживят, но нямат раздвоено копито, те са нечисти за вас;

`Only, this ye do not eat, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the rabbit, for they are bringing up the cud but the hoof have not divided; unclean they to you;

8 и свинята, понеже има раздвоено копито, но не преживя, е нечиста за вас; от месото на тези домашни животни да не ядете и до труповете им да не се допирате.

and the sow, for it is dividing the hoof, and not up the cud, unclean it to you; of their flesh ye do not eat, and against their carcase ye do not come.

9 О т всички, които живеят във водата, ето кои да ядете: всички, които имат перки и люспи, да ядете;

`This ye do eat of all that in the waters; all that hath fins and scales ye do eat;

10 н о да не ядете никои, които нямат перки и люспи; те са нечисти за вас.

and anything which hath not fins and scales ye do not eat; unclean it to you.

11 О т всички чисти птици можете да ядете.

`Any clean bird ye do eat;

12 А ето тези, които не трябва да ядете: орела, лешояда, черния лешояд,

and these they of which ye do not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

13 ч ервената каня, черната каня, сокола по видовете му;

and the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after its kind,

14 в сяка врана по видовете ѝ;

and every raven after its kind;

15 к укумявката, совата, чайката, ястреба по видовете му,

and the owl, and the night-hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after its kind;

16 м алкия бухал, големия бухал, белия бухал,

the owl, and the owl, and the swan,

17 п еликана, рибаря, корморана,

and the pelican, and the gier-eagle, and the cormorant,

18 щ ъркела, чаплата по видовете ѝ, папуняка и прилепа.

and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the lapwing, and the bat;

19 В сички крилати пълзящи са нечисти за вас; не бива да се ядат.

and every teeming thing which is flying, unclean it to you; they are not eaten;

20 О т всички чисти птици можете да ядете.

any clean fowl ye do eat.

21 Н икаква мърша да не ядете (на чужденеца, който е в градовете ти, можеш да я даваш да я яде или да я продаваш на чужденец); защото вие сте свят народ на Господа, вашия Бог. Да не вариш яре в млякото на майка му.

`Ye do not eat of any carcase; to the sojourner who within thy gates thou dost give it, and he hath eaten it; or sell to a stranger; for a holy people thou to Jehovah thy God; thou dost not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

22 Н епременно да даваш десета част от всичките си произведения, които си посял, които нивата ти произвежда всяка година.

`Thou dost certainly tithe all the increase of thy seed which the field is bringing forth year by year;

23 И десетата част от житото си, от виното си и от маслото си, и първородните от говедата си и от овцете си да ядеш пред Господа, твоя Бог, на мястото, което избере, за да настани там Името Си; за да се научиш да се боиш всякога от Господа, твоя Бог.

and thou hast eaten before Jehovah thy God, in the place where He doth choose to cause His name to tabernacle, the tithe of thy corn, of thy new wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herd, and of thy flock, so that thou dost learn to fear Jehovah thy God all the days.

24 Н о ако, когато те благослови Господ, твоят Бог, пътят е много дълъг за тебе, така че да не можеш да ги занасяш, понеже е много далеч от тебе мястото, което избере Господ, твоят Бог, за да настани там Името Си,

`And when the way is too much for thee, that thou art not able to carry it -- when the place is too far off from thee which Jehovah thy God doth choose to put His name there, when Jehovah thy God doth bless thee; --

25 т огава да разменяш десятъците си с пари и да вържеш парите в ръката си, и да идеш на мястото, което избере Господ, твоят Бог;

then thou hast given in money, and hast bound up the money in thy hand, and gone unto the place on which Jehovah thy God doth fix;

26 и да дадеш парите за каквото и да е нещо, което пожелаеш, за говеда или за овце, или за вино, или за спиртни питиета, или за каквото и да е нещо, което би пожелал; и там, пред Господа, твоя Бог, да ядеш и да се развеселиш - ти, домът ти

and thou hast given the money for any thing which thy soul desireth, for oxen, and for sheep, and for wine, and for strong drink, and for any thing which thy soul asketh, and thou hast eaten there before Jehovah thy God, and thou hast rejoiced, thou and thy house.

27 и левитът, който е в градовете ти; него да не пренебрегваш, защото той няма дял, нито наследство с тебе.

As to the Levite who within thy gates, thou dost not forsake him, for he hath no portion and inheritance with thee.

28 В края на всяка трета година да изваждаш целия десятък от произведението си през онази година и да го складираш в градовете си,

`At the end of three years thou dost bring out all the tithe of thine increase in that year, and hast placed within thy gates;

29 т ака че левитът (защото той няма дял, нито наследство с тебе), чужденецът, сирачето и вдовицата, които са в градовете ти, да идват, да ядат и да се насищат; за да те благославя Господ, твоят Бог, във всичко, което вършиш.

and come in hath the Levite (for he hath no part and inheritance with thee), and the sojourner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who within thy gates, and they have eaten, and been satisfied, so that Jehovah thy God doth bless thee in all the work of thy hand which thou dost.
