1 Т огава Господ каза на Моисей: Ето, поставих те като бог срещу фараон; и брат ти Аарон ще ти бъде пророк.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `See, I have given thee a god to Pharaoh, and Aaron thy brother is thy prophet;

2 Т и ще казваш всичко, което ти заповядвам, а брат ти Аарон ще говори на фараона да пусне израелтяните от земята си.

thou -- thou dost speak all that I command thee, and Aaron thy brother doth speak unto Pharaoh, and he hath sent the sons of Israel out of his land.

3 Н о Аз ще закоравя фараоновото сърце и въпреки че ще умножа знаменията Си и чудесата Си в Египетската земя,

`And I harden the heart of Pharaoh, and have multiplied My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt,

4 Ф араонът няма да ви послуша и Аз ще нападна Египет, и с велики дела на съд ще изведа Моите войнства, народа Си, израелтяните от Египетската земя.

and Pharaoh doth not hearken, and I have put My hand on Egypt, and have brought out My hosts, My people, the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by great judgments;

5 И египтяните ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ, когато вдигна ръката Си против Египет и изведа израелтяните изсред тях.

and the Egyptians have known that I Jehovah, in My stretching out My hand against Egypt; and I have brought out the sons of Israel from their midst.'

6 И така, Моисей и Аарон направиха, както Господ им заповяда.

And Moses doth -- Aaron also -- as Jehovah commanded them; so have they done;

7 А Моисей беше на осемдесет години, а Аарон на осемдесет и три години, когато говореха на фараона. Десетте напасти, с които Бог поразява Египет

and Moses a son of eighty years, and Aaron a son of eighty and three years, in their speaking unto Pharaoh.

8 И Господ каза на Моисей и Аарон:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

9 К огато фараонът ви говори и каже: Покажете чудо, тогава кажи на Аарон: Вземи жезъла си и го хвърли пред фараона, за да стане на змия.

`When Pharaoh speaketh unto you, saying, Give for yourselves a wonder; then thou hast said unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast before Pharaoh -- it becometh a monster.'

10 Т огава Моисей и Аарон влязоха при фараона и направиха, както заповяда Господ; Аарон хвърли жезъла си пред фараона и служителите му и жезълът стана на змия.

And Moses goeth in -- Aaron also -- unto Pharaoh, and they do so as Jehovah hath commanded; and Aaron casteth his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it becometh a monster.

11 Н о фараонът повика мъдреците и заклинателите и египетските влъхви направиха същото с магиите си.

And Pharaoh also calleth for wise men, and for sorcerers; and the scribes of Egypt, they also, with their flashings, do so,

12 З ащото хвърлиха, всеки от тях, жезъла си и те станаха на змии; обаче Аароновият жезъл погълна техните жезли.

and they cast down each his rod, and they become monsters, and the rod of Aaron swalloweth their rods;

13 А сърцето на фараона се закорави и той не ги послуша, както Господ беше говорил.

and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken.

14 С лед това Господ каза на Моисей: Сърцето на фараона се закорави дотолкова, че той отказва да пусне народа.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `The heart of Pharaoh hath been hard, he hath refused to send the people away;

15 И ди утре при фараона; ето, той излиза да отиде при водата; а ти застани при брега на Нил, за да го срещнеш, и вземи в ръката си жезъла, който се беше превърнал на змия.

go unto Pharaoh in the morning, lo, he is going out to the water, and thou hast stood to meet him by the edge of the River, and the rod which was turned to a serpent thou dost take in thy hand,

16 И му кажи: Господ, Бог на евреите, ме изпрати при теб и казва: Пусни народа Ми, за да Ми послужат в пустинята; но, ето, досега ти не послуша.

and thou hast said unto him: Jehovah, God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Send My people away, and they serve Me in the wilderness; and lo, thou hast not hearkened hitherto.

17 Т ака казва Господ: По това ще познаеш, че Аз съм Господ; ето, с жезъла, който е в ръката ми, ще ударя върху водата, която е в Нил, и тя ще се превърне в кръв.

`Thus said Jehovah: By this thou knowest that I Jehovah; lo, I am smiting with the rod which in my hand, on the waters which in the River, and they have been turned to blood,

18 Р ибите, които са в Нил, ще измрат и реката ще се усмърди, и египтяните ще се гнусят да пият вода от нея.

and the fish that in the River die, and the River hath stank, and the Egyptians have been wearied of drinking waters from the River.'

19 Т огава Господ заповяда на Моисей: Кажи на Аарон: Вземи жезъла си и протегни ръката си над египетските води, над реките им, над потоците им, над езерата им и над всичките им водни локви, за да станат на кръв; и по цялата Египетска земя ще има кръв, и в дървените, и в каменните съдове.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thy hand against the waters of Egypt, against their streams, against their rivers, and against their ponds, and against all their collections of waters; and they are blood -- and there hath been blood in all the land of Egypt, both in wood, and in stone.'

20 М оисей и Аарон направиха, както Господ заповяда; и Аарон, като вдигна жезъла, удари цялата вода в Нил пред фараона и служителите му; и водата на Нил се превърна в кръв.

And Moses and Aaron do so, as Jehovah hath commanded, and he lifteth up with the rod, and smiteth the waters which in the River, before the eyes of Pharaoh, and before the eyes of his servants, and all the waters which in the River are turned to blood,

21 И рибите, които бяха в Нил, измряха и реката се усмърдя, така че египтяните не можеха да пият вода от нея; и кръв се бе разляла по цялата Египетска земя.

and the fish which in the River hath died, and the River stinketh, and the Egyptians have not been able to drink water from the River; and the blood is in all the land of Egypt.

22 Н о и египетските влъхви с магиите си направиха същото; затова сърцето на фараона се закорави и той не ги послуша, както беше казал Господ.

And the scribes of Egypt do so with their flashings, and the heart of Pharaoh is strong, and he hath not hearkened unto them, as Jehovah hath spoken,

23 И фараонът се върна в своя дворец, без да вземе присърце и това.

and Pharaoh turneth and goeth in unto his house, and hath not set his heart even to this;

24 А всички египтяни копаха около Нил, за да намерят вода за пиене, защото не можеха да пият речната вода.

and all the Egyptians seek water round about the river to drink, for they have not been able to drink of the waters of the River.

25 И минаха седем дни, след като Господ беше поразил Нил.

And seven days are completed after Jehovah's smiting the River,
