1 А Моисей отговори: Но те няма да ми повярват, нито ще послушат думите ми, защото ще кажат: Не ти се е явил Господ.

And Moses answereth and saith, `And, if they do not give credence to me, nor hearken to my voice, and say, Jehovah hath not appeared unto thee?'

2 Т огава Господ го попита: Какво е това в ръката ти? А той отговори: Жезъл.

And Jehovah saith unto him, `What this in thy hand?' and he saith, `A rod;'

3 Г оспод каза: Хвърли го на земята. И той го хвърли на земята и стана на змия; и Моисей побегна от нея.

and He saith, `Cast it to the earth;' and he casteth it to the earth, and it becometh a serpent -- and Moses fleeth from its presence.

4 Н о Господ каза на Моисей: Протегни ръката си и я хвани за опашката (и той протегна ръката си и я хвана, и тя стана на жезъл в ръката му);

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Put forth thy hand, and lay hold on the tail of it;' and he putteth forth his hand, and layeth hold on it, and it becometh a rod in his hand --

5 н аправѝ това, за да повярват, че ти се е открил Господ, Бог на бащите им, Бог Авраамов, Бог Исааков и Бог Яковов.

`-- so that they believe that Jehovah, God of their fathers, hath appeared unto thee, God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.'

6 П ри това Господ му каза: Пъхни си сега ръката в пазвата. И той си пъхна ръката в пазвата; а като я извади, ръката му беше прокажена, бяла като сняг.

And Jehovah saith to him again, `Put in, I pray thee, thy hand into thy bosom;' and he putteth in his hand into his bosom, and he bringeth it out, and lo, his hand leprous as snow;

7 Т огава Господ каза: Пъхни си пак ръката в пазвата (и той пак си пъхна ръката в пазвата и когато я извади от пазвата, беше станала пак като останалата му плът);

and He saith, `Put back thy hand unto thy bosom;' and he putteth back his hand unto his bosom, and he bringeth it out from his bosom, and lo, it hath turned back as his flesh --

8 и Господ продължи: Ако не ти повярват, нито послушат гласа на първото знамение, ще повярват поради гласа на второто знамение.

`-- and it hath come to pass, if they do not give credence to thee, and hearken not to the voice of the first sign, that they have given credence to the voice of the latter sign.

9 Н о ако не повярват и на двете ти знамения, нито послушат думите ти, тогава да вземеш от водата на реката и да я излееш на сушата; и водата, която извадиш от реката, ще се превърне в кръв на сушата.

`And it hath come to pass, if they do not give credence even to these two signs, nor hearken to thy voice, that thou hast taken of the waters of the River, and hast poured on the dry land, and the waters which thou takest from the River have been, yea, they have become -- blood on the dry land.'

10 А Моисей каза на Господа: Моля ти се, Господи, аз не съм бил красноречив нито в миналото, нито, откакто си почнал да говориш на слугата Си, а съм бавен в своя език и реч.

And Moses saith unto Jehovah, `O, my Lord, I not a man of words, either yesterday, or before, or since Thy speaking unto Thy servant, for I slow of mouth, and slow of tongue.'

11 Н о Господ му отговори: Кой е направил човешките уста? Или кой прави човек да бъде ням или глух, да има зрение или да е сляп? Нали Аз, Господ?

And Jehovah saith unto him, `Who appointed a mouth for man? or who appointeth the dumb, or deaf, or open, or blind? is it not I, Jehovah?

12 И така, иди; и Аз ще бъда с устата ти и ще те науча какво да говориш.

and now, go, and I -- I am with thy mouth, and have directed thee that which thou speakest;'

13 Т огава Моисей каза: Моля ти се, Господи, прати някой друг вместо мен.

and he saith, `O, my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand Thou dost send.'

14 И гневът Господен пламна против Моисей и Господ каза: Нали имаш брат, левиеца Аарон? Зная, че той може да говори добре. Виж, той излиза да те посрещне и когато те види, ще се зарадва сърдечно.

And the anger of Jehovah burneth against Moses, and He saith, `Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I have known that he speaketh well, and also, lo, he is coming out to meet thee; when he hath seen thee, then he hath rejoiced in his heart,

15 Т и му говорѝ и вложѝ думите в устата му; и Аз ще бъда с твоите уста и с неговите уста и ще ви науча какво трябва да правите.

and thou hast spoken unto him, and hast set the words in his mouth, and I -- I am with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and have directed you that which ye do;

16 В место тебе нека той говори на народа; той ще ти бъде вместо уста, а ти ще го ръководиш като Бог.

and he, he hath spoken for thee unto the people, and it hath come to pass, he -- he is to thee for a mouth, and thou -- thou art to him for God;

17 И вземи в ръката си този жезъл, с който ще вършиш знаменията. Моисей се връща в Египет

and this rod thou dost take in thy hand, with which thou doest the signs.'

18 Т огава Моисей отиде и се върна при тъста си Йотор, и му каза: Моля ти се, нека отида и се завърна при братята си, които са в Египет, за да видя живи ли са още. И Йотор отвърна на Моисей: Иди с мир.

And Moses goeth and turneth back unto Jethro his father-in-law, and saith to him, `Let me go, I pray thee, and I turn back unto my brethren who in Egypt, and I see whether they are yet alive.' And Jethro saith to Moses, `Go in peace.'

19 А в Мадиам Господ каза на Моисей: Иди, върни се в Египет, защото измряха всички твои врагове, които искаха живота ти.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses in Midian, `Go, turn back to Egypt, for all the men have died who seek thy life;'

20 И така, Моисей взе жена си и синовете си, качи ги на осел и тръгна да се върне в Египетската земя. Моисей взе и Божия жезъл в ръката си.

and Moses taketh his wife, and his sons, and causeth them to ride on the ass, and turneth back to the land of Egypt, and Moses taketh the rod of God in his hand.

21 Т огава Господ каза на Моисей: Когато се завърнеш в Египет, внимавай да вършиш пред фараона всички чудеса, които дадох в ръката ти; но Аз ще закоравя сърцето му и той няма да пусне народа.

And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `In thy going to turn back to Egypt, see -- all the wonders which I have put in thy hand -- that thou hast done them before Pharaoh, and I -- I strengthen his heart, and he doth not send the people away;

22 А ти кажи на фараона: Така говори Йехова: Израел Ми е син, първородният Ми;

and thou hast said unto Pharaoh, Thus said Jehovah, My son, My first-born Israel,

23 и ти казвам: Пусни сина Ми да Ми послужи; но ако откажеш да го пуснеш, ето, Аз ще убия твоя син, първородния ти.

and I say unto thee, Send away My son, and he doth serve Me; and -- thou dost refuse to send him away -- lo, I am slaying thy son, thy first-born.'

24 А по пътя в една странноприемница Господ посрещна Моисей и искаше да го умъртви.

And it cometh to pass in the way, in a lodging place, that Jehovah meeteth him, and seeketh to put him to death;

25 Т огава Сепфора взе кремък и обряза краекожието на сина си, допря го до краката на Моисей и каза: Наистина ти си ми кървав младоженец.

and Zipporah taketh a flint, and cutteth off the foreskin of her son, and causeth to touch his feet, and saith, `Surely a bridegroom of blood thou to me;'

26 С лед това Господ се оттегли от него. Тогава тя каза поради обрязването: Ти си ми кървав младоженец.

and He desisteth from him: then she said, `A bridegroom of blood,' in reference to the circumcision.

27 А Господ беше казал на Аарон: Иди в пустинята да посрещнеш Моисей. И той тръгна, посрещна го в Божията планина и го целуна.

And Jehovah saith unto Aaron, `Go to meet Moses into the wilderness;' and he goeth, and meeteth him in the mount of God, and kisseth him,

28 И Моисей извести на Аарон всички думи, с които Господ го беше изпратил, и всички знамения, за които му беше заръчал.

and Moses declareth to Aaron all the words of Jehovah with which He hath sent him, and all the signs with which He hath charged him.

29 Т огава Моисей и Аарон отидоха и събраха всички старейшини на израелтяните;

And Moses goeth -- Aaron also -- and they gather all the elders of the sons of Israel,

30 и Аарон каза всички думи, които Господ беше говорил на Моисей, и извърши знаменията пред народа.

and Aaron speaketh all the words which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses, and doth the signs before the eyes of the people;

31 И народът повярва; а когато чуха, че Господ посетил израелтяните и че погледнал на неволята им, наведоха главите си и се поклониха.

and the people believe when they hear that Jehovah hath looked after the sons of Israel, and that He hath seen their affliction; and they bow and do obeisance.
