1 А ето заповедите, наредбите и законите, които Господ, вашият Бог, заповяда да ви науча, за да ги вършите в земята, към която преминавате, за да я заселите,

`And this the command, the statutes and the judgments which Jehovah your God hath commanded to teach you, to do in the land which ye are passing over thither to possess it,

2 з а да се боиш от Господа, твоя Бог, да пазиш всичките Му наредби и заповедите Му, които ти давам - ти, синът ти и внукът ти през всичките дни на живота си, за да ти се продължат дните.

so that thou dost fear Jehovah thy God, to keep all His statutes and His commands, which I am commanding thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all days of thy life, and so that thy days are prolonged.

3 И така, чуй, Израелю, и внимавай да ги вършиш, за да ти бъде добре и да се размножите много в земята, където текат мляко и мед, според както Господ, Бог на бащите ти, ти е обещал.

`And thou hast heard, O Israel, and observed to do, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest multiply exceedingly, as Jehovah, God of thy fathers, hath spoken to thee, the land flowing with milk and honey.

4 С лушай, Израелю; Йехова, нашият Бог, е един Господ;

`Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God one Jehovah;

5 и да възлюбиш Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце, с цялата си душа и с всичката си сила.

and thou hast loved Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might,

6 Т ези думи, които ти заповядвам днес, нека бъдат в сърцето ти;

and these words which I am commanding thee to-day have been on thine heart,

7 и на тях да учиш прилежно децата си и за тях да говориш, когато седиш в дома си, когато ходиш по пътя, когато лягаш и когато ставаш.

and thou hast repeated them to thy sons, and spoken of them in thy sitting in thine house, and in thy walking in the way, and in thy lying down, and in thy rising up,

8 Д а ги вързваш за знак на ръката си и да бъдат като превръзка на челото ти.

and hast bound them for a sign upon thy hand, and they have been for frontlets between thine eyes,

9 И да ги написваш върху стълбовете на вратите на къщата си и на портите си.

and thou hast written them on door-posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

10 А когато Господ, твоят Бог, те въведе в земята, за която се е клел на бащите ти, на Авраам, Исаак и Яков, да ти даде големи и хубави градове, които ти не си съградил,

`And it hath been, when Jehovah thy God doth bring thee in unto the land which He hath sworn to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to thee -- cities great and good, which thou hast not built,

11 и къщи, пълни с всякакви блага, които не си напълнил, и изкопани кладенци, които не си изкопал, лозя и маслини, които не си насадил - като ядеш и се наситиш,

and houses full of all good things which thou hast not filled, and wells digged which thou hast not digged, vineyards and olive-yards which thou hast not planted, and thou hast eaten, and been satisfied;

12 в нимавай да не забравяш Господа, Който те изведе от Египетската земя, от дома на робството.

`Take heed to thyself lest thou forget Jehovah who hath brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of a house of servants;

13 О т Господа, твоя Бог, да се боиш, на Него да служиш и в Неговото Име да се кълнеш.

Jehovah thy God thou dost fear, and Him thou dost serve, and by His name thou dost swear;

14 Д а не следвате други богове, от боговете на племената, които са около вас

ye do not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who round about you;

15 ( защото Господ, твоят Бог, сред теб, е Бог ревнив), за да не пламне гневът на Господа, твоя Бог, против теб и да те изтреби от лицето на земята.

for a zealous God Jehovah thy God in thy midst -- lest the anger of Jehovah thy God burn against thee, and He hath destroyed thee from off the face of the ground.

16 Д а не изпитвате Господа, вашия Бог, както Го изпитвахте в Маса.

`Ye do not try Jehovah your God as ye tried in Massah;

17 Д а пазите усърдно заповедите на Господа, вашия Бог, заявленията Му и наредбите Му, които ти заповяда.

ye do diligently keep the commands of Jehovah your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes which He hath commanded thee,

18 И да вършиш това, което е право и добро пред Господа, за да ти бъде добре и да влезеш и да завладееш добрата земя, за която Господ се е клел на бащите ти,

and thou hast done that which is right and good in the eyes of Jehovah, so that it is well with thee, and thou hast gone in and possessed the good land which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers,

19 к ато изгониш всичките си неприятели пред себе си, според както Господ каза.

to drive away all thine enemies from thy presence, as Jehovah hath spoken.

20 К огато в бъдещите времена синът ти те попита: Какво значат свидетелствата, наредбите и законите, които Господ, нашият Бог, ви е заповядал?

`When thy son asketh thee hereafter, saying, What the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Jehovah our God hath commanded you?

21 Т огава да кажеш на сина си: Бяхме роби на фараона в Египет; а Господ ни изведе от Египет победоносно;

then thou hast said to thy son, Servants we have been to Pharaoh in Egypt, and Jehovah bringeth us out of Egypt by a high hand;

22 и Господ показа пред очите ни големи и страшни знамения и чудеса над Египет, над фараона и над целия му дом;

and Jehovah giveth signs and wonders, great and sad, on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes;

23 а нас изведе оттам, за да ни въведе в земята, за която се е клел на бащите ни, и да ни я даде.

and us He hath brought out thence, in order to bring us in, to give to us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.

24 Г оспод ни заповяда да вършим всички тези наредби и да се боим от Господа, нашия Бог, за да ни бъде всякога добре и за да пази Той живота ни, както прави и днес.

And Jehovah commandeth us to do all these statutes, to fear Jehovah our God, for good to ourselves all the days, to keep us alive, as this day;

25 И това ще ни се смята за правда, ако внимаваме да изпълняваме всички тези заповеди пред Господа, нашия Бог, както ни заповяда.

and righteousness it is for us, when we observe to do all this command before Jehovah our God, as He hath commanded us.
