1 К огато Соломон беше завършил изграждането на Господния дом и на царската къща и беше извършил всичко, което желаеше да направи,

And it cometh to pass, at Solomon's finishing to build the house of Jehovah, and the house of the king, and all the desire of Solomon that he delighted to do,

2 Г оспод му се яви втори път, както му се беше явил в Гаваон.

that Jehovah appeareth unto Solomon a second time, as He appeared unto him in Gibeon,

3 Г оспод му каза: Чух молитвата ти и прошението, с което се моли пред Мене. Този дом, който ти построи, Аз го осветих, за да настаня там името Си до века. Очите Ми и сърцето Ми ще бъдат там завинаги.

and Jehovah saith unto him, `I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication with which thou hast made supplication before Me; I have hallowed this house that thou hast built to put My name there -- unto the age, and Mine eyes and My heart have been there all the days.

4 А колкото до теб, ако ходиш пред Мене, както ходѝ баща ти Давид, с цяло сърце и с правота, така че да постъпваш според всичко, което ти заповядах, като пазиш наредбите Ми и законите Ми,

`And thou -- if thou dost walk before Me as David thy father walked, in simplicity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee -- My statutes and My judgments thou dost keep --

5 т огава ще утвърдя престола на царството ти над Израел до века, както обещах на баща ти Давид: Няма да ти липсва мъж, който да седи на Израелевия престол.

then I have established the throne of thy kingdom over Israel -- to the age, as I spake unto David thy father, saying, There is not cut off to thee a man from on the throne of Israel.

6 Н о ако се отклоните от Мене, вие или синовете ви, и не опазите заповедите Ми и наредбите, които поставих пред вас, а отидете и служите на други богове и им се покланяте,

`If ye at all turn back -- you and your sons -- from after Me, and keep not My commands -- My statutes, that I have set before you, and ye have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them,

7 т огава ще премахна Израел от земята, която съм им дал, и ще отхвърля отпред очите Си този дом, който осветих за името Си. И Израел ще бъде за присмех и поругание между всички племена.

then I have cut off Israel from the face of the ground that I have given to them, and the house that I have hallowed for My name I send away from My presence, and Israel hath been for a simile and for a byword among all the peoples;

8 А за този дом, който стана толкова висок, всеки, който минава покрай него, ще се зачуди и ще цъка с уста; и ще кажат: Защо Господ направи така на тази земя и на този дом?

as to this house, is high, every one passing by it is astonished, and hath hissed, and they have said, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus to this land and to this house?

9 И ще си отговорят: Понеже изоставиха Господа, своя Бог, Който изведе бащите им от Египетската земя, и си избраха други богове, и им се поклониха, и им послужиха, затова Господ стовари върху тях цялото това зло. Управление на Соломон и неговите доходи

and they have said, Because that they have forsaken Jehovah their God, who brought out their fathers from the land of Egypt, and they lay hold on other gods, and bow themselves to them, and serve them; therefore hath Jehovah brought in upon them all this evil.'

10 А когато изтекоха двадесетте години, в които Соломон построи двата дома - Господния дом и царската къща,

And it cometh to pass, at the end of twenty years, that Solomon hath built the two houses, the house of Jehovah, and the house of the king.

11 а тирският цар Хирам беше доставил на Соломон кедрови и елхови дървета и злато, доколкото той желаеше, цар Соломон даде на Хирам двадесет града в галилейската земя.

Hiram king of Tyre hath assisted Solomon with cedar-trees, and with fir-trees, and with gold, according to all his desire; then doth king Solomon give to Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

12 А когато Хирам дойде от Тир, за да види градовете, които Соломон му беше дал, не му харесаха.

And Hiram cometh out from Tyre to see the cities that Solomon hath given to him, and they have not been right in his eyes,

13 Т ой каза: Що за градове са тези, които си ми дал, брате? И ги нарече земя Хавул, както се нарича и до днес.

and he saith, `What these cities that thou hast given to me, my brother?' and one calleth them the land of Cabul unto this day.

14 И Хирам изпрати на царя сто и двадесет таланта злато.

And Hiram sendeth to the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold.

15 А ето причината за данъка, който цар Соломон събра: да съгради Господния дом и своята къща, също и Мило, йерусалимската стена, Асор, Магедон и Гезер.

And this the matter of the tribute that king Solomon hath lifted up, to build the house of Jehovah, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer,

16 ( Египетският цар фараон беше отишъл и беше превзел Гезер. Беше изгорил града с огън и избил ханаанците, които живееха в него, и го беше дал за зестра на дъщеря си, Соломоновата жена.)

(Pharaoh king of Egypt hath gone up and doth capture Gezer, and doth burn it with fire, and the Canaanite who is dwelling in the city he hath slain, and giveth it presents to his daughter, wife of Solomon.)

17 А Соломон съгради освен Гезер и долния Ветерон,

And Solomon buildeth Gezer, and Beth-Horon the lower,

18 В аалат, Тамар в пустата част на Юдовата земя,

and Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land;

19 в сички градове, в които Соломон имаше житници, градовете за колесниците, градовете за конниците и всичко, което Соломон пожела да съгради в Йерусалим, в Ливан и по цялата територия на царството си.

and all the cities of stores that king Solomon hath, and the cities of the chariots, and the cities of the horsemen, and the desire of Solomon that he desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

20 А относно всички хора, които останаха от аморейците, хетите, ферезейците, евейците и йевусейците, които не бяха от израелтяните,

The whole of the people that is left of the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, who not of the sons of Israel --

21 о т техните потомци, останали след тях в земята, които израелтяните не можаха да изтребят, от тях Соломон събра набор за задължителни работници, каквито са и до днес.

their sons who are left behind them in the land, whom the sons of Israel have not been able to devote -- he hath even lifted up them a tribute of service unto this day.

22 Н о от израелтяните Соломон не направи никого задължителен работник. Те бяха военни мъже и негови служители, негови първенци, негови военачалници и началници на колесниците му и на конниците му.

And out of the sons of Israel Solomon hath not appointed a servant, for they the men of war, and his servants, and his heads, and his captains, and the heads of his chariots, and his horsemen.

23 Г лавните началници, които надзираваха Соломоновите работи, бяха петстотин и петдесет души. Те управляваха над народа, който вършеше работите.

These the heads of the officers who over the work of Solomon, fifty and five hundred, those ruling among the people who are labouring in the work.

24 А фараоновата дъщеря се пренесе от Давидовия град в своята къща, която Соломон беше построил за нея. След това той съгради Мило.

Only, the daughter of Pharaoh went up out of the city of David unto her house that built for her; then he built Millo.

25 Т ри пъти в годината Соломон принасяше всеизгаряния и мирни приноси върху жертвеника, който издигна на Господа, и кадеше върху онзи жертвеник, който беше пред Господа, след като завърши дома.

And Solomon caused to ascend, three times in a year, burnt-offerings and peace-offerings on the altar that he built to Jehovah, and he perfumed it with that which before Jehovah, and finished the house.

26 Ц ар Соломон построи и кораби в Есион-гавер, който е при Елот, на брега на Червеното море в едомската земя.

And a navy hath king Solomon made in Ezion-Geber, that is beside Eloth, on the edge of the Sea of Suph, in the land of Edom.

27 А в крабите Хирам прати от слугите си опитни моряци, за да бъдат със Соломоновите слуги.

And Hiram sendeth in the navy his servants, shipmen knowing the sea, with servants of Solomon,

28 Т е пътуваха до Офир, откъдето взеха четиристотин и двадесет таланта злато и го донесоха на цар Соломон.

and they come in to Ophir and take thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and bring in unto king Solomon.
