1 К огато ти се сбъднат всички тези неща, благословенията и проклятията, които изложих пред теб, ако ти си ги припомниш сред всичките народи, между които Господ, твоят Бог, ще те пръсне,

`And it hath been, when all these things come upon thee, the blessing and the reviling, which I have set before thee, and thou hast brought back unto thy heart, among all the nations whither Jehovah thy God hath driven thee away,

2 и се обърнеш към Господа, твоя Бог, и с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа послушаш, ти и синовете ти, гласа Му според всичко, което днес ти заповядвам,

and hast turned back unto Jehovah thy God, and hearkened to His voice, according to all that I am commanding thee to-day, thou and thy sons, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul --

3 т огава Господ, твоят Бог, ще те върне от плен, ще ти покаже милост и пак ще те събере от всички народи, между които Господ, твоят Бог, ще те е разпръснал.

then hath Jehovah thy God turned back thy captivity, and pitied thee, yea, He hath turned back and gathered thee out of all the peoples whither Jehovah thy God hath scattered thee.

4 А ко бъдеш изгонен до небесните краища, даже оттам ще те събере Господ, твоят Бог, и оттам ще те вземе;

`If thine outcast is in the extremity of the heavens, thence doth Jehovah thy God gather thee, and thence He doth take thee;

5 и Господ, твоят Бог, ще те въведе в земята, която бащите ти притежаваха, и ти ще я притежаваш; Той ще ти прави добро и ще те умножи повече от бащите ти.

and Jehovah thy God hath brought thee in unto the land which thy fathers have possessed, and thou hast inherited it, and He hath done thee good, and multiplied thee above thy fathers.

6 Г оспод, твоят Бог, ще обреже сърцето ти и сърцето на потомството ти, за да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа, за да живееш.

`And Jehovah thy God hath circumcised thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, for the sake of thy life;

7 И Господ, твоят Бог, ще излее всички тези проклятия върху неприятелите ти и върху онези, които те ненавиждат и те гонят.

and Jehovah thy God hath put all this oath on thine enemies, and on those hating thee, who have pursued thee.

8 А ти отново ще слушаш гласа на Господа и ще изпълняваш всичките Му заповеди, които днес ти заповядвам.

`And thou dost turn back, and hast hearkened to the voice of Jehovah, and hast done all His commands which I am commanding thee to-day;

9 И Господ, твоят Бог, в благостта Си ще направи така, че да изобилстваш във всичките дела на ръцете си, да изобилства плодът на утробата ти, плодът на добитъка ти и произведенията на земята ти; защото Господ пак ще се възрадва за тебе да ти прави добро, както се е възрадвал на бащите ти;

and Jehovah thy God hath made thee abundant in every work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, for good; for Jehovah turneth back to rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers,

10 а ко слушаш гласа на Господа, твоя Бог, и пазиш заповедите Му и наредбите Му, които са написани в тази книга на закона - ако се обърнеш към Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа.

for thou dost hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep His commands, and His statutes, which are written in the book of this law, for thou turnest back unto Jehovah thy God, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.

11 П онеже тази заповед, която днес ти давам, не е много трудна за тебе, нито е далеч.

`For this command which I am commanding thee to-day, it is not too wonderful for thee, nor it far off.

12 Н е е на небето, за да кажеш: Кой ще се възкачи за нас на небето да ни я донесе, за да я чуем и да я изпълняваме?

It is not in the heavens, -- saying, Who doth go up for us into the heavens, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it -- that we may do it.

13 Н ито е оттатък морето, за да кажеш: Кой ще прекоси морето за нас да ни я донесе, за да я чуем и да я изпълняваме?

And it not beyond the sea, -- saying, Who doth pass over for us beyond the sea, and doth take it for us, and doth cause us to hear it -- that we may do it?

14 Н о словото е много близо до тебе, в устата ти и в сърцето ти, за да го изпълняваш.

For very near unto thee is the word, in thy mouth, and in thy heart -- to do it.

15 Е то, днес положих пред тебе живота и доброто, смъртта и злото,

`See, I have set before thee to-day life and good, and death and evil,

16 к ато заповядвам днес да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, да ходиш в Неговите пътища и да пазиш заповедите Му, наредбите Му и законите Му, за да живееш и да се умножаваш, и да те благославя Господ, твоят Бог, в земята, в която влизаш, за да я завладееш.

in that I am commanding thee to-day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments; and thou hast lived and multiplied, and Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in the land whither thou art going in to possess it.

17 Н о ако се отвърне сърцето ти и не слушаш, а се заблудиш и се кланяш на други богове, и им служиш,

`And if thy heart doth turn, and thou dost not hearken, and hast been driven away, and hast bowed thyself to other gods, and served them,

18 а з ви заявявам днес, че ще загинете; няма да се продължат дните ви на земята, към която преминавате през Йордан, за да я вземете за свое притежание.

I have declared to you this day, that ye do certainly perish, ye do not prolong days on the ground which thou art passing over the Jordan to go in thither to possess it.

19 Д нес викам небето и земята за свидетели против вас, че положих пред вас живота и смъртта, благословенията и проклятията; затова изберете живота, за да живееш, ти и потомството ти;

`I have caused to testify against you to-day the heavens and the earth; life and death I have set before thee, the blessing and the reviling; and thou hast fixed on life, so that thou dost live, thou and thy seed,

20 и збери да обичаш Господа, твоя Бог, да слушаш гласа Му и да бъдеш привързан към Него (защото Господ е твоят живот и твоето дълголетие), за да живееш на земята, за която Господ се е клел на бащите ти, на Авраам, Исаак и Яков, че ще им я даде.

to love Jehovah thy God, to hearken to His voice, and to cleave to Him (for He thy life, and the length of thy days), to dwell on the ground which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them.'
