1 К ато изминаха две години, фараонът сънува, че стоеше при Нил.

And it cometh to pass, at the end of two years of days that Pharaoh is dreaming, and lo, he is standing by the River,

2 И , ето, седем крави, хубави и тлъсти, излизаха от реката и пасяха в тръстиката.

and lo, from the River coming up are seven kine, of fair appearance, and fat flesh, and they feed among the reeds;

3 А след тях от реката излизаха други седем крави, грозни и мършави, и стояха при първите крави на речния бряг.

and lo, seven other kine are coming up after them out of the River, of bad appearance, and lean flesh, and they stand near the kine on the edge of the River,

4 И грозните, мършавите крави изядоха седемте хубави и тлъсти крави. Тогава фараонът се пробуди.

and the kine of bad appearance and lean flesh eat up the seven kine of fair appearance, and fat -- and Pharaoh awaketh.

5 А като заспа, сънува втори път; и, ето, седем класа, пълни и добри, израснаха от едно стъбло.

And he sleepeth, and dreameth a second time, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, fat and good,

6 А след тях израснаха други седем класа, тънки и прегорели от източния вятър.

and lo, seven ears, thin, and blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;

7 И тънките класове погълнаха седемте дебели и пълни класове. А когато фараонът се събуди, разбра, че е било сън.

and the thin ears swallow the seven fat and full ears -- and Pharaoh awaketh, and lo, a dream.

8 Н а сутринта духът му беше смутен; и така, той изпрати да му повикат всички влъхви и всички мъдреци в Египет и фараонът им разказа сънищата си, но нямаше кой да ги изтълкува на фараона.

And it cometh to pass in the morning, that his spirit is moved, and he sendeth and calleth all the scribes of Egypt, and all its wise men, and Pharaoh recounteth to them his dream, and there is no interpreter of them to Pharaoh.

9 Т огава началникът на виночерпците говорѝ на фараона: Днес се сещам, че съм виновен.

And the chief of the butlers speaketh with Pharaoh, saying, `My sin I mention this day:

10 Ф араонът беше се разгневил на слугите си и ме хвърли, мен и началника на хлебарите, в тъмница, в дома на началника на телохранителите.

Pharaoh hath been wroth against his servants, and giveth me into charge in the house of the chief of the executioners, me and the chief of the bakers;

11 И сънувахме двамата сънища в една и съща нощ; и всеки сън имаше отделно тълкуване.

and we dream a dream in one night, I and he, each according to the interpretation of his dream we have dreamed.

12 А заедно с нас там беше един млад евреин, слуга на началника на телохранителите; и като му разказахме, той ни разтълкува сънищата; на всеки от нас според съновидението му даде значението.

And there with us a youth, a Hebrew, servant to the chief of the executioners, and we recount to him, and he interpreteth to us our dreams, each according to his dream hath he interpreted,

13 И според както ни изтълкува, така и стана; мене той възстанови на службата ми, а него обеси.

and it cometh to pass, as he hath interpreted to us so it hath been, me he put back on my station, and him he hanged.'

14 Т огава фараонът заповяда да повикат Йосиф и бързо го изведоха от тъмницата; той се обръсна, преоблече се и дойде при фараона.

And Pharaoh sendeth and calleth Joseph, and they cause him to run out of the pit, and he shaveth, and changeth his garments, and cometh in unto Pharaoh.

15 И фараонът каза на Йосиф: Сънувах, но няма кой да изтълкува съня; но аз чух да казват за тебе, че като чуеш съновидение, умееш да го тълкуваш.

And Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `A dream I have dreamed, and there is no interpreter of it, and I -- I have heard concerning thee, saying, Thou understandest a dream to interpret it,'

16 А Йосиф отговори на фараона: Не аз, Бог ще даде на фараона отговор с мир.

and Joseph answereth Pharaoh, saying, `Without me -- God doth answer Pharaoh with peace.'

17 Т огава фараонът каза на Йосиф: В съня си, ето, стоях край брега на Нил.

And Pharaoh speaketh unto Joseph: `In my dream, lo, I am standing by the edge of the River,

18 И , ето, седем крави, тлъсти и хубави, излязоха от реката и пасяха в тръстиката.

and lo, out of the River coming up are seven kine, fat flesh, and of fair form, and they feed among the reeds;

19 А след тях излязоха други седем крави, слаби, много грозни и мършави, каквито по грозота никога не съм видял в цялата Египетска земя.

and lo, seven other kine are coming up after them, thin, and of very bad form, and lean flesh; I have not seen like these in all the land of Egypt for badness.

20 И мършавите, грозните крави изядоха първите седем тлъсти крави;

`And the lean and the bad kine eat up the first seven fat kine,

21 н о пак, като ги изядоха, не се познаваше, че са ги изяли; а изгледът им беше така грозен, както и в началото. Тогава се пробудих.

and they come in unto their midst, and it hath not been known that they have come in unto their midst, and their appearance bad as at the commencement; and I awake.

22 П осле видях в съня си; и, ето, седем класа, пълни и добри, израснаха от едно стъбло.

`And I see in my dream, and lo, seven ears are coming up on one stalk, full and good;

23 А след тях израснаха други седем класа, сухи, тънки и прегорели от източния вятър;

and lo, seven ears, withered, thin, blasted with an east wind, are springing up after them;

24 т ънките класове погълнаха седемте добри класове. Разказах съня на влъхвите, но нямаше кой да ми го изтълкува.

and the thin ears swallow the seven good ears; and I tell unto the scribes, and there is none declaring to me.'

25 Т огава Йосиф каза на фараона: фараоновият сън е един; Бог е явил на фараона това, което скоро ще направи.

And Joseph saith unto Pharaoh, `The dream of Pharaoh is one: that which God is doing he hath declared to Pharaoh;

26 С едемте добри крави са седем години; и седемте добри класове са седем години, сънят е един.

the seven good kine are seven years, and the seven good ears are seven years, the dream is one;

27 А седемте мършави и грозни крави, които излязоха след тях, са седем години, както и седемте празни класове, прегорели от източния вятър; те ще бъдат седем години на глад.

and the seven thin and bad kine which are coming up after them are seven years, and the seven empty ears, blasted with an east wind, are seven years of famine;

28 Т ова е, което казах на фараона; Бог е явил на фараона това, което скоро ще направи.

this the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: That which God is doing, he hath shewn Pharaoh.

29 Е то, идат седем години на голямо плодородие по цялата Египетска земя.

`Lo, seven years are coming of great abundance in all the land of Egypt,

30 А след тях ще дойдат седем години на глад; цялото плодородие ще се забрави в Египетската земя, защото гладът ще опустоши земята.

and seven years of famine have arisen after them, and all the plenty is forgotten in the land of Egypt, and the famine hath finished the land,

31 Н яма да се познае плодородието на земята поради онзи глад, който ще последва; защото ще бъде твърде тежък.

and the plenty is not known in the land because of that famine afterwards, for it very grievous.

32 А това, че сънят се повтори на фараона два пъти, означава, че това е решено от Бога и че Бог скоро ще го извърши.

`And because of the repeating of the dream unto Pharaoh twice, surely the thing is established by God, and God is hastening to do it.

33 И така, нека фараонът потърси умен и мъдър човек и нека го постави над египетската земя.

`And now, let Pharaoh provide a man, intelligent and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt;

34 Н ека фараонът направи това и нека постави надзиратели над земята; и в седемте плодородни години нека събере петата част от реколтата на Египетската земя.

let Pharaoh make and appoint overseers over the land, and receive a fifth of the land of Egypt in the seven years of plenty,

35 Н ека съберат цялата храна на тези добри години, които идат; и събраното жито нека бъде под фараоновата власт, за храна в градовете, и нека го пазят.

and they gather all the food of these good years that are coming, and heap up corn under the hand of Pharaoh -- food in the cities; and they have kept,

36 И храната ще се запази за седемте гладни години, които ще настанат в Египетската земя, за да не се опустоши земята от глада. Йосиф - управител на Египет

and the food hath been for a store for the land, for the seven years of famine which are in the land of Egypt; and the land is cut off by the famine.'

37 Т ова нещо беше угодно на фараона и на всичките му служители.

And the thing is good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants,

38 И фараонът каза на служителите си: Можем ли да намерим човек като този, в когото има Божия Дух?

and Pharaoh saith unto his servants, `Do we find like this, a man in whom the spirit of God ?'

39 Т огава фараонът каза на Йосиф: Понеже Бог ти откри всичко това, няма никой толкова умен и мъдър, колкото си ти.

and Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `After God's causing thee to know all this, there is none intelligent and wise as thou;

40 Т и ще бъдеш над дома ми и целият ми народ ще слуша твоите думи; само с престола аз ще бъда по-горен от тебе.

thou -- thou art over my house, and at thy mouth do all my people kiss; only in the throne I am greater than thou.'

41 Ф араонът каза още на Йосиф: Виж, поставям те над цялата Египетска земя.

And Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `See, I have put thee over all the land of Egypt.'

42 Т огава фараонът извади пръстена си от ръката си и го сложи на Йосифовата ръка, облече го в дрехи от висон и му окачи златно огърлие на шията.

And Pharaoh turneth aside his seal-ring from off his hand, and putteth it on the hand of Joseph, and clotheth him garments of fine linen, and placeth a chain of gold on his neck,

43 П осле нареди да го возят на втората колесница и викаха пред него: Коленичете! И така го постави над цялата Египетска земя.

and causeth him to ride in the second chariot which he hath, and they proclaim before him, `Bow the knee!' and -- to put him over all the land of Egypt.

44 П ри това фараонът каза на Йосиф: Аз съм владетел, но без тебе никой няма да вдигне ръка или крак по цялата Египетска земя.

And Pharaoh saith unto Joseph, `I Pharaoh, and without thee a man doth not lift up his hand and his foot in all the land of Egypt;'

45 И фараонът нарече Йосиф Цафнат-панеах и му даде за жена Асенета, дъщеря на Илиополския жрец Потифер. След това Йосиф излезе на обиколка в Египетската земя. Изпълнение на фараоновия сън

and Pharaoh calleth Joseph's name Zaphnath-Paaneah, and he giveth to him Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, for a wife, and Joseph goeth out over the land of Egypt.

46 Й осиф беше на тридесет години, когато стоя пред Египетския цар фараон; и като се отдалечи от лицето на фараона, Йосиф обиколи цялата Египетска земя.

And Joseph a son of thirty years in his standing before Pharaoh king of Egypt, and Joseph goeth out from the presence of Pharaoh, and passeth over through all the land of Egypt;

47 И през седемте години на плодородие земята роди преизобилно.

and the land maketh in the seven years of plenty by handfuls.

48 Й осиф събра цялата храна от тези седем години, които бяха настанали в Египетската земя, и складира храната в градовете; във всеки град прибра храната от околните му ниви.

And he gathereth all the food of the seven years which have been in the land of Egypt, and putteth food in the cities; the food of the field which round about city hath he put in its midst;

49 Й осиф събра твърде много жито, колкото морския пясък, така че престана да го мери; защото беше без мяра.

and Joseph gathereth corn as sand of the sea, multiplying exceedingly, until that he hath ceased to number, for there is no number.

50 А преди да настъпят годините на глада, на Йосиф се родиха двама сина, които му роди Асенета, дъщеря на Илиополския жрец Потифер.

And to Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine cometh, whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, hath borne to him,

51 Й осиф наименува първородния Манасия, защото си казваше: Бог ме направи да забравя всичките си мъки и целия си бащин дом.

and Joseph calleth the name of the first-born Manasseh: `for, God hath made me to forget all my labour, and all the house of my father;'

52 А втория наименува Ефрем, защото си казваше: Бог ме направи плодовит в земята на страданието ми.

and the name of the second he hath called Ephraim: `for, God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of mine affliction.'

53 А като се изминаха седемте години на плодородие, които бяха настанали в Египетската земя,

And the seven years of plenty are completed which have been in the land of Egypt,

54 н астъпиха седемте години на глад, според както Йосиф беше казал; и настана глад по всички околни страни, а по цялата Египетска земя имаше хляб.

and the seven years of famine begin to come, as Joseph said, and famine is in all the lands, but in all the land of Egypt hath been bread;

55 З ащото, когато цялата Египетска земя огладня и народът извика към фараона за хляб, фараонът каза на всички египтяни: Идете при Йосиф и каквото ви каже, направете.

and all the land of Egypt is famished, and the people crieth unto Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh saith to all the Egyptians, `Go unto Joseph; that which he saith to you -- do.'

56 ( А гладът беше по цялата страна.) И така, Йосиф отвори всички житници и продаваше на египтяните, защото гладът се усилваше по Египетската земя.

And the famine has been over all the face of the land, and Joseph openeth all which have in them, and selleth to the Egyptians; and the famine is severe in the land of Egypt,

57 И от всички страни идваха в Египет при Йосиф да купят жито, понеже гладът се усилваше по цялата страна.

and all the earth hath come to Egypt, to buy, unto Joseph, for the famine was severe in all the earth.
