Praise ye Jah! Praise, O my soul, Jehovah.

2 U në do ta lëvdoj Zotn deri sa të kem jetë, do të këndoj lavde për Perëndinë tim gjatë gjithë jetës sime.

I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

3 M os kini besim te princat dhe as te ndonjë bir njeriu, që nuk mund të shpëtojë.

Trust not in princes -- in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.

4 K ur fryma e tij ikën, ai kthehet përsëri në tokë dhe po atë ditë planet e tij zhduken.

His spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, In that day have his thoughts perished.

5 L um ai që ka Perëndinë e Jakobit si ndihmë, shpresa e të cilit është tek Zoti, Perëndia i tij,

O the happiness of him Who hath the God of Jacob for his help, His hope on Jehovah his God,

6 q ë ka krijuar qiejtë dhe tokën, detin dhe gjithçka është në to, që ruan besnikërinë përjetë,

Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that in them, Who is keeping truth to the age,

7 q ë u jep të drejtë të shtypurve dhe ushqim të uriturve. Zoti çliron të burgosurit.

Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.

8 Z oti u hap sytë të verbërve, Zoti ngre ata që janë rrëzuar, Zoti i do të drejtët.

Jehovah is loosing the prisoners, Jehovah is opening (the eyes of) the blind, Jehovah is raising the bowed down, Jehovah is loving the righteous,

9 Z oti mbron të huajt, ndihmon jetimin dhe gruan e ve, por përmbys udhën e të pabesëve.

Jehovah is preserving the strangers, The fatherless and widow He causeth to stand, And the way of the wicked He turneth upside down.

10 Z oti mbretëron përjetë, Perëndia yt, o Sion, brez pas brezi. Aleluja.

Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!
