1 C uando se terminó toda la obra que Salomón realizó para el templo del Señor, Salomón puso allí todo lo que David, su padre, había dedicado. La plata, el oro, y todos los utensilios, los puso en los tesoros del templo de Dios. Salomón traslada el arca al templo

And all the work that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah is finished, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father, and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he hath put among the treasures of the house of God.

2 E ntonces Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a los ancianos de Israel y a todos los príncipes de las tribus y a los jefes de las familias israelitas, para que trasladaran el arca del pacto del Señor desde la ciudad de David, que es Sión.

Then doth Solomon assemble the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the city of David -- it Zion.

3 C on el rey se reunieron todos los varones de Israel, para celebrar la fiesta solemne del mes séptimo.

And assembled unto the king are all the men of Israel in the feast -- it the seventh month;

4 T odos los ancianos de Israel hicieron acto de presencia, y los levitas tomaron el arca

and all the elders of Israel come in, and the Levites lift up the ark,

5 y la llevaron, junto con el tabernáculo de reunión y todos los utensilios del santuario que estaban en el tabernáculo. Los sacerdotes y los levitas los llevaron.

and they bring up the ark, and the tent of meeting, and all the vessels of the sanctuary that in the tent; brought them up have the priests, the Levites;

6 L uego el rey Salomón y toda la congregación israelita allí reunida delante del arca, sacrificaron ovejas y bueyes. ¡Eran tantos que no se pudieron contar!

and king Solomon and all the company of Israel who are convened unto him before the ark are sacrificing sheep and oxen, that are not counted nor numbered from multitude.

7 L os sacerdotes llevaron el arca del pacto del Señor a su lugar, en el santuario del templo, en el lugar santísimo, bajo las alas de los querubines.

And the priests bring in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah unto its place, unto the oracle of the house, unto the holy of holies, unto the place of the wings of the cherubs;

8 L os querubines extendían las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y de esa manera cubrían por encima tanto el arca como sus barras.

and the cherubs are spreading out wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubs cover over the ark, and over its staves, from above;

9 É stas sobresalían del arca, de modo que sus cabezas podían verse delante del lugar santísimo, aunque no se veían desde fuera. Hasta el día de hoy, allí están.

and they lengthen the staves, and the heads of the staves are seen out of the ark on the front of the oracle, and they are not seen without; and it is there unto this day.

10 E n el arca sólo estaban las dos tablas que Moisés había puesto en Horeb, con las cuales el Señor hizo un pacto con los hijos de Israel cuando salieron de Egipto.

There is nothing in the ark but the two tables that Moses gave in Horeb, where Jehovah covenanted with the sons of Israel, in their going out from Egypt.

11 L os sacerdotes salieron del santuario. Todos los sacerdotes que allí se encontraban habían sido santificados, y no mantenían sus turnos.

And it cometh to pass, in the going out of the priests from the sanctuary -- for all the priests who are present have sanctified themselves, there is none to watch by courses,

12 T odos los levitas cantores, los de Asaf, los de Hemán y los de Jedutún, junto con sus hijos y sus parientes, estaban al oriente del altar, vestidos de lino fino y con címbalos y salterios y arpas. Con ellos estaban ciento veinte sacerdotes que tocaban trompetas.

and the Levites, the singers, to all of them, to Asaph, to Heman, to Jeduthun, and to their sons, and to their brethren, clothed in white linen, with cymbals, and with psalteries, and harps, are standing on the east of the altar, and with them priests, to a hundred and twenty, blowing with trumpets --

13 C uando las trompetas sonaban, todos cantaban al unísono y alababan y daban gracias al Señor. A medida que alzaban la voz con trompetas y címbalos y otros instrumentos musicales, alababan al Señor y decían: «Ciertamente, él es bueno, y su misericordia es eterna». Entonces el templo, la casa del Señor, se llenó con una nube,

yea, it cometh to pass, as one trumpeters and singers, to sound -- one voice -- to praise and to give thanks to Jehovah, and at the lifting up of the sound with trumpets, and with cymbals, and with instruments of song, and at giving praise to Jehovah, for good, for to the age His kindness, that the house is filled with a cloud -- the house of Jehovah,

14 y por causa de la nube los sacerdotes no podían estar allí para ministrar, porque la gloria del Señor había llenado el templo de Dios.

and the priests have not been able to stand to minister from the presence of the cloud, for the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house of God.
