1 M 'a adus înapoi la poarta de afară a sfîntului Locaş, dinspre răsărit. Dar era închisă.

And he causeth me to turn back the way of the gate of the outer sanctuary that is looking eastward, and it is shut.

2 Ş i Domnul mi -a zis:,, Poarta aceasta va sta închisă, nu se va deschide, şi nimeni nu va trece pe ea; căci Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, a intrat pe ea. De aceea va rămînea închisă!

And Jehovah saith unto me, `This gate is shut, it is not opened, and none doth go in by it, for Jehovah, God of Israel, hath come in by it, and it hath been shut.

3 Î n ce priveşte pe voivod, voivodul va putea să şadă supt ea, ca să mănînce pînea de jertfă înaintea Domnului. El va intra pe drumul care dă în tinda porţii, şi va ieşi pe acelaş drum.``

The prince, who prince, he sitteth by it to eat bread before Jehovah, by the way of the porch of the gate he cometh in, and by its way he goeth out.'

4 M 'a dus apoi la poarta de miază noapte, înaintea casei Templului. M'am uitat şi iată că slava Domnului umplea Casa Domnului! Şi am căzut cu faţa la pămînt.

And he bringeth me in the way of the north gate unto the front of the house, and I look, and lo, filled hath the honour of Jehovah the house of Jehovah, and I fall on my face.

5 D omnul mi -a zis:,, Fiul omului, fii cu luare aminte, uită-te cu ochii tăi şi ascultă cu urechile tale tot ce-ţi voi spune cu privire la toate rînduielile Casei Domnului şi cu privire la toate legile ei; priveşte cu băgare de seamă intrarea casei şi toate ieşirile sfîntului Locaş!

And Jehovah saith unto me, `Son of man, set thy heart, and see with thine eyes, and with thine ears hear, all that I am speaking with thee, of all the statutes of the house of Jehovah, and of all its laws; and thou hast set thy heart to the entrance of the house, with all the outlets of the sanctuary,

6 Ş i spune celor îndărădnici, casei lui Israel:, Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu:, Ajungă-vă toate urîciunile voastre, casa lui Israel!

and hast said unto the rebellious, unto the house of Israel: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Enough to you -- of all your abominations, O house of Israel.

7 A ţi băgat în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt nişte străini cu inima netăiată împrejur, şi cu carnea netăiată împrejur, ca să-Mi spurce casa; aţi adus pînea Mea, grăsimea şi sîngele înaintea tuturor urîciunilor voastre, şi aţi rupt astfel legămîntul Meu.

In your bringing in sons of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, to be in My sanctuary, to pollute it, even My house, in your bringing near My bread, fat, and blood, and they break My covenant by all your abominations,

8 N 'aţi păzit ce trebuia păzit cu privire la lucrurile Mele cele sfinte, ci i-aţi pus în locul vostru, ca să facă slujbă în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt.

and ye have not kept the charge of My holy things, and ye set for keepers of My charge in My sanctuary for you.

9 A şa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu:, Niciun străin, netăiat împrejur cu inima şi netăiat împrejur cu trupul, să nu intre în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt, niciunul din străinii cari vor fi în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel.

`Thus said the Lord Jehovah: No son of a stranger, uncircumcised of heart, and uncircumcised of flesh, cometh in unto My sanctuary, even any son of a stranger, who in the midst of the sons of Israel,

10 M ai mult, Leviţii cari s'au depărtat de Mine, cînd se rătăcea Israel şi se abătea dela Mine ca să-şi urmeze idolii, vor purta pedeapsa nelegiuirilor lor:

but -- the Levites who have gone far off from me, in the wandering of Israel when they went astray from Me after their idols, and they have borne their iniquity.

11 e i vor fi în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt ca slugi, vor păzi porţile casei şi vor face slujbă în casă; vor junghia pentru popor vitele rînduite pentru arderile de tot şi pentru celelalte jertfe, şi vor sta înaintea lui ca să -i slujească.

And they have been in My sanctuary ministrants, overseers at the gates of the house, and ministrants at the house; they slay the burnt-offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they stand before them to serve them.

12 P entrucă i-au slujit înaintea idolilor lui, şi au făcut să cadă în păcat casa lui Israel, deaceea Îmi ridic mîna asupra lor, zice Domnul Dumnezeu, ca să-şi poarte pedeapsa nelegiuirii lor.

Because that they serve them before their idols, and have been to the house of Israel for a stumbling-block of iniquity, therefore I have lifted up my hand against them -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah -- and they have borne their iniquity.

13 N u se vor apropia de Mine ca să fie în slujba Mea ca preoţi, nu se vor apropia de lucrurile Mele cele sfinte, nici de lucrurile Mele prea sfinte; ci vor purta pedepsa ruşinei lor şi urîciunilor pe cari le-au săvîrşit.

And they draw not nigh unto Me to act as My priest, and to draw nigh unto any of My holy things, unto the holy of holies, and they have borne their shame and their abominations that they have done,

14 T otuş le voi da paza casei, îi voi întrebuinţa la toată slujba ei şi la tot ce trebuie făcut în ea.

and I made them keepers of the charge of the house, for all its service and for all that is done in it.

15 D ar preoţii, Leviţii, fiii lui Ţadoc, cari au păzit slujba locaşului Meu celui sfînt cînd se rătăceau copiii lui Israel dela Mine, aceia se vor apropia de Mine să-Mi slujească, şi vor sta înaintea Mea ca să-Mi aducă grăsime şi sînge, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.``

`And the priests, the Levites, sons of Zadok, who have kept the charge of My sanctuary in the wandering of the sons of Israel from off Me, they draw near unto Me to serve Me, and have stood before Me, to bring near to Me fat and blood -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah:

16 E i vor intra în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt, se vor apropia de masa Mea ca să-Mi slujească, şi vor fi în slujba Mea.

they come in unto My sanctuary, and they draw near unto My table to serve Me, and they have kept My charge.

17 C înd vor trece pe porţile curţii dinlăuntru, se vor îmbrăca în haine de in; nu vor avea pe ei nimic de lînă, cînd vor face slujba în porţile curţii dinlăuntru şi în casă.

And it hath come to pass, in their going in unto the gates of the inner court, linen garments they put on; and no wool cometh up on them in their ministering in the gates of the inner court and within.

18 V or avea pe cap şi scufii de in, şi ismene de in pe coapsele lor; nu se vor încinge cu ceva care să aducă sudoarea;

Linen bonnets are on their head, and linen trousers are on their loins, they are not restrained with sweat.

19 i ar cînd vor ieşi să se ducă în curtea de afară la popor, vor lepăda veşmintele cu cari fac slujba, şi le vor pune în odăile sfîntului Locaş; se vor îmbrăca în altele ca să nu sfinţească poporul cu veşmintele lor.

And in their going forth unto the outer court -- unto the outer court unto the people -- they strip off their garments, in which they are ministering, and have placed them in the holy chambers, and have put on other garments; and they do not sanctify the people in their own garments.

20 N u-şi vor rade capul, dar nici nu vor lăsa părul să crească în voie; ci vor trebui să-şi taie părul.

And their head they do not shave, and the lock they do not send forth; they certainly poll their heads.

21 N iciun preot nu va bea vin cînd va intra în curtea dinlăuntru.

And no priest doth drink wine in their coming in unto the inner court.

22 N u vor lua de nevastă nici o văduvă, nici o femeie lăsată de bărbat, ci vor lua numai fecioare din sămînţa casei lui Israel; totuş vor putea să ia şi pe văduva unui preot.

And a widow and divorced woman they do not take to them for wives: but -- virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, and the widow who is widow of a priest, do they take.

23 V or învăţa pe poporul Meu să deosebească ce este sfînt de ce nu este sfînt, şi vor arăta deosebirea dintre ce este necurat şi ce este curat.

`And My people they direct between holy and common, and between unclean and clean they cause them to discern.

24 V or judeca în neînţelegeri, şi vor hotărî după legile Mele. Vor păzi deasemenea legile şi poruncile Mele, la toate sărbătorile Mele, şi vor sfinţi Sabatele Mele.

And concerning controversy, they stand up for judgment; with My judgments they judge it; and My law and My statutes in all My appointed places they keep; and My sabbaths they sanctify.

25 U n preot nu se va duce la un mort, ca să nu se facă necurat; nu va putea să se facă necurat decît pentru un tată, pentru o mamă, pentru un fiu, pentru o fiică, pentru un frate şi pentru o soră, care nu era măritată.

And unto any dead man they come not for uncleanness, but for father, and for mother, and for son, and for daughter, for brother, for sister who hath not been to a man, they defile themselves.

26 D upă curăţire, i se vor număra şapte zile.

`And after his cleansing, seven days they number to him.

27 Î n ziua cînd va intra în Locaşul Meu cel sfînt, în curtea dinlăuntru, ca să facă slujba în sfîntul Locaş, îşi va aduce jertfa de ispăşire, zice Domnul Dumnezeu.``

And in the day of his coming in unto the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he bringeth near his sin-offering -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

28 I ată moştenirea pe care o vor avea: Eu voi fi moştenirea lor. Să nu le daţi nici o moşie în Israel: Eu voi fi moşia lor!``

And it hath been to them for an inheritance; I their inheritance: and a possession ye do not give to them in Israel; I their possession.

29 D ar se vor hrăni cu darurile de mîncare, cu jertfele de ispăşire şi de vină; şi tot ce va fi închinat Domnului prin făgăduinţă în Israel va fi al lor.

The present, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering, they do eat, and every devoted thing in Israel is theirs.

30 C ele mai bune din cele dintîi roade de orice fel, şi partea ridicată din toate darurile de mîncare, pe cari le veţi aduce ca daruri ridicate, vor fi ale preoţilor; veţi da preoţilor şi pîrga făinii voastre, pentru ca binecuvîntarea să rămînă peste casa voastră.

And the first of all the first-fruits of all, and every heave-offering of all, of all your heave-offerings, are the priests': and the first of your dough ye give to the priest, to cause a blessing to rest on thy house.

31 P reoţii însă nu vor mînca din nicio pasăre sau vită moartă ori sfîşiată de fiară.``

Any carcase and torn thing, of the fowl, and of the beasts, the priests do not eat.
