1 D omnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

2 V orbeşte copiilor lui Israel, şi spune-le:, Cînd un bărbat sau o femeie se va despărţi de ceilalţi, făcînd o juruinţă de nazireat1, ca să se închine Domnului,

`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When a man or woman doeth singularly, by vowing a vow of a Nazarite, to be separate to Jehovah;

3 s ă se ferească de vin şi de băutură îmbătătoare; să nu bea nici oţet făcut din vin, nici oţet făcut din vreo băutură îmbătătoare; să nu bea nicio băutură stoarsă din struguri, şi să nu mănînce struguri proaspeţi nici uscaţi.

from wine and strong drink he doth keep separate; vinegar of wine, and vinegar of strong drink he doth not drink, and any juice of grapes he doth not drink, and grapes moist or dry he doth not eat;

4 Î n tot timpul nazireatului lui, să nu mănînce nimic care vine din viţă, dela sîmburi pînă la pieliţa strugurelui.

all days of his separation, of anything which is made of the wine-vine, from kernels even unto husk, he doth not eat.

5 Î n tot timpul nazireatului, briciul să nu treacă pe capul lui; pînă la împlinirea zilelor pentru cari s'a închinat Domnului, va fi sfînt; să-şi lase părul să crească în voie.

`All days of the vow of his separation a razor doth not pass over his head; till the fulness of the days which he doth separate to Jehovah he is holy; grown up hath the upper part of the hair of his head.

6 Î n tot timpul cît s'a făgăduit Domnului prin jurămînt, să nu se apropie de un mort;

`All days of his keeping separate to Jehovah, near a dead person he doth not go;

7 s ă nu se pîngărească nici la moartea tatălui său, nici a mamei sale, nici a fratelui său, nici a sorei sale, căci poartă pe cap închinarea Dumnezeului lui.

for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister -- he is not unclean for them at their death, for the separation of his God on his head;

8 Î n tot timpul nazireatului, să fie închinat Domnului.

all days of his separation he holy to Jehovah.

9 D acă moare cineva de moarte năpraznică lîngă el, şi capul lui închinat se face astfel necurat, să-şi radă capul în ziua curăţirii, şi anume să şi -l radă a şaptea zi.

`And when the dead dieth beside him in an instant, suddenly, and he hath defiled the head of his separation, then he hath shaved his head in the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he doth shave it,

10 Î n ziua a opta, să aducă preotului două turturele sau doi pui de porumbel, la uşa cortului întîlnirii.

and on the eighth day he bringeth in two turtle-doves or two young pigeons unto the priest, unto the opening of the tent of meeting,

11 P reotul să jertfească pe unul ca jertfă de ispăşire, iar pe celalt ca ardere de tot, şi să facă pentru el ispăşirea păcatului lui, făcut cu prilejul mortului. Nazireul să-şi sfinţească apoi capul chiar în ziua aceea.

and the priest hath prepared one for a sin-offering, and one for a burnt-offering, and hath made atonement for him, because of that which he hath sinned by the body, and he hath hallowed his head on that day;

12 S ă închine din nou Domnului zilele nazireatului lui dinainte, şi să aducă un miel de un an ca jertfă pentru vină; zilele dinainte nu vor fi socotite, pentrucă nazireatul lui a fost pîngărit.

and he hath separated to Jehovah the days of his separation, and he hath brought in a lamb, a son of a year, for a guilt-offering, and the former days are fallen, for his separation hath been defiled.

13 I ată legea nazireului. În ziua cînd se va împlini vremea nazireatului lui, să fie adus la uşa cortului întîlnirii.

`And this the law of the Nazarite; in the day of the fulness of the days of his separation doth bring him in unto the opening of the tent of meeting,

14 C a dar, să aducă Domnului: un miel de un an fără cusur, pentru arderea de tot, o oaie de un an şi fără cusur pentru jertfa de ispăşire, şi un berbece fără cusur, pentru jertfa de mulţămire;

and he hath brought near his offering to Jehovah, one he-lamb, a son of a year, a perfect one, for a burnt-offering, and one she-lamb, a daughter of a year, a perfect one, for a sin-offering, and one ram, a perfect one, for peace-offerings,

15 u n coş cu azimi, turte făcute din floarea făinii, frămîntată cu untdelemn, şi plăcinte fără aluat, stropite cu untdelemn, împreună cu darul de mîncare şi jertfa de băutură obicinuite.

and a basket of unleavened things of flour, cakes mixed with oil, and thin cakes of unleavened things anointed with oil, and their present, and their libations.

16 P reotul să aducă aceste lucruri înaintea Domnului şi să aducă jertfa lui de ispăşire şi arderea de tot;

`And the priest hath brought near before Jehovah, and hath made his sin-offering and his burnt-offering;

17 s ă pregătească berbecele ca jertfă de mulţămire Domnului, împreună cu coşul cu azimi, şi să pregătească şi darul lui de mîncare şi jertfa lui de băutură.

and the ram he maketh a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, besides the basket of unleavened things; and the priest hath made its present and its libation.

18 N azireul să-şi radă, la uşa cortului întîlnirii, capul închinat Domnului; să ia părul capului său închinat Domnului, şi să -l pună pe focul care este subt jertfa de mulţămire.

`And the Nazarite hath shaved (at the opening of the tent of meeting) the head of his separation, and hath taken the hair of the head of his separation, and hath put on the fire which under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings.

19 P reotul să ia spata dreaptă fiartă a berbecelui, o turtă nedospită din coş, şi o plăcintă nedospită; şi să le pună în mînile Nazireului, după ce acesta şi -a ras capul închinat Domnului.

`And the priest hath taken the boiled shoulder from the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one thin unleavened cake, and hath put on the palms of the Nazarite after his shaving his separation;

20 P reotul să le legene într'o parte şi într'alta înaintea Domnului: acesta este un lucru sfînt, care este al preotului, împreună cu pieptul legănat şi spata adusă ca jertfă prin ridicare. Apoi, nazireul va putea să bea vin.

and the priest hath waved them, a wave-offering before Jehovah; it holy to the priest, besides the breast of the wave-offering, and besides the leg of the heave-offering; and afterwards doth the Nazarite drink wine.

21 A ceasta este legea pentru cel ce a făcut juruinţa de nazireat: acesta este darul lui, care trebuie adus Domnului pentru nazireatul lui, afară de ce -i vor îngădui mijloacele lui. Să împlinească tot ce este poruncit pentru juruinţa pe care a făcut -o, după legea nazireatului.``

`This the law of the Nazarite, who voweth his offering to Jehovah for his separation, apart from that which his hand attaineth; according to his vow which he voweth so he doth by the law of his separation.'

22 D omnul a vorbit lui Moise, şi a zis:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

23 V orbeşte lui Aaron şi fiilor lui, şi spune-le:, Aşa să binecuvîntaţi pe copiii lui Israel, şi să le ziceţi:

`Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, saying, Thus ye do bless the sons of Israel, saying to them,

24 D omnul să te binecuvinteze, şi să te păzească!

`Jehovah bless thee and keep thee;

25 D omnul să facă să lumineze Faţa Lui peste tine, şi să Se îndure de tine!

`Jehovah cause His face to shine upon thee, and favour thee;

26 D omnul să-Şi înalţe Faţa peste tine, şi-să-ţi dea pacea!

`Jehovah lift up His countenance upon thee, and appoint for thee -- peace.

27 A stfel să pună Numele Meu peste copiii lui Israel, şi Eu îi voi binecuvînta.``

`And they have put My name upon the sons of Israel, and I -- I do bless them.'
